However, when I saw Dr. Chang, she could not find these 11 cavities :-) She commended me on my dental hygiene, and sent me on my way. These qualities are so hard to find in one dentist, and I honestly saw a string of not-so-great dentists before seeing her. This makes me appreciate her even more! I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

After consulting with a number of specialists, the consensus was clear. Dr. Puterman is the best at what he does in the DMV--and my particular case (don't ask) required the best. I confess, I was skeptical. But a little more than half a decade (and several surgeries later (don't ask), I have a functional mouth again. Not only teeth that work but teeth that look great. Best of all, the pain that tormented me for decades is gone. GONE. Obliterated. Throughout this ordeal, Dr. Puterman stuck by me. And I by him and his extraordinary staff and colleagues. Dr. Puterman was always honest. Always fair. Always honorable. Always kind. And always decent. This is not what I would have expected given the intrinsic challenges of my case and the fickle nature of human biology that doesn't always cooperate with titanium and bone grafts. And yet--here I am--finally some five plus years later. Grateful beyond words for my experience with Dr. Puterman. Don't get me wrong. I won't miss being in his chair for scores of additional hours. I'm a grateful patient. And what makes me especially grateful is that we made it--together. Makes you want to spend the whole day in the waiting room. But no. They are professional and get you back to the rooms with expediency. Then there's the surgical rockstars. They get you prepped up and keep nice and calm. I don't anxiety when seeing Doctors, but they talk your through it and I bet would keep you nice and calm if you did experience anxiety or fear. They pre-numb you with plenty of gel. Then there's Dr injects you with enough to ensure you're not even remotely uncomfortable during the procedure. Dr. Boquel kept pausing during the lidocaine injections, to ensure I was ok. I have a high pain threshold, but I didn't have any pain at all. I told him I can tolerate a bit of pain, and he was reassuring me saying that He doesn't want me to have any pain at all. I guess other previous surgeons were cheaping out on the lidocaine. This place prioritizes your comfort, and I REALLY appreciate that. Just because someone can take a little pain doesn't mean they should have to. It's the next day after getting HUGE implant screwed into my skull, and I'm feeling no pain. And I literally mean screwed. He was using a little socket wrench tool to screw this thing in. I felt like a car engine being worked on. But seriously, I'm not in any pain. I thought I would need some really good pain killers like oxy; like what you get after an extraction. But no. They prescribe only 600 of ibuprofen, and I only took 2 of those so far. 1 soon as I got home, and 1 right before bed. I don't even think I'll need them at all today. Dr. Boquel has the magic touch!
