Although some booths were empty, many other booths contained merchandise, and I had lots to browse over a long time. I saw dozens of locally owned shops that sell merchandise such as clothing, accessories, soaps, candles, greeting cards, holiday decorations, throw pillows, quilts, picture frames, lamps, fudges, and much more. Some of the products were locally made, while other products were made in countries such as China, Vietnam, India, and Korea. I chose to buy a magnet from one shop and fudge from another shop. When I approached the checkout counter, two employees were ready to ring up my purchase. Unfortunately, they could not get their computer and printer to print a receipt, and they made me wait several minutes. I never got a receipt, but I do not plan to return the items anyway.

The gals running this store are clearly having a great time and it makes for a fun shopping experience. On the day we visited, they were passing out homemade cookies and glasses of mimosas - yes please! ReStore sells new and used appliances (e.g., washers, dryers, refrigerators, and stoves), furniture (e.g., couches, chairs, dining sets, and dressers), building materials (e.g., hardware, flooring, light fixtures, plumbing supplies, and windows), and home décor at low prices. The proceeds from the sales are used to build and repair housing for low-income families in the Pittsburgh area. Most recently, I emailed ReStore to ask if they would accept my shelving unit, coat rack, light fixtures, space heater, flower pots, hose hangers, and other items. I was required to send photos of the items to show the style and condition. Two days later, an employee replied that they would accept my items, and he scheduled a pickup from my house for several days later. On the pickup day, the pickup window was from 9 AM to 3 PM, and 15 minutes before the driver arrived at my house, he called me to inform me that he was on his way. The driver pulled up to my house in a truck (see the attached photo). He was very polite, and he moved my items from my driveway into his truck. At the end of his visit, he handed me a receipt, and he kindly thanked me and wished me a great day.

One delivery was a stunning long stem rose bouquet. My husband told them that I liked purple, so along with the beautiful roses and baby's breath were some purple accents and a gorgeous purple bow. The roses smelled fantastic and lasted well over a week. The second were flower bouquets that I received after a performance. Those bouquets were full of color and seasonal accents and lasted almost two weeks. A visit to the shop is also a delight. There is a great variety of gifts and floral items in a range of prices. You know that sometimes ordering flowers from a florist that you have never done business with before and are not sure of the quality of their work can be daunting. Berries and Birch really took that apprehension away for my mom and she told me that each of her experiences working with the staff have been great. I'll have to add a photo of my most recent arrangement received from mom. It really was beautiful and lasted about 3 weeks (I'm terrible about caring for floral arrangements). Everyone in our group were in awe of all the taxidermy and the creativity of the house. The tour is private and the couple who owns Trundle Manor limits the tour to eight people maximum.
