Look I don't give bad reviews so ima chalk it up to they just had an off night. The vibe was great and the staff were very friendly and attentive. However, we got the fried shrimp tempura appetizer and the sushi nachos. Shrimp had an off taste but the tempura was really good. The onion, cucumber, and sweet potato was pretty good tho. We got steak and scallops hibachi that came with a soup and salad. The soup was some of the worst I have had and the salad dressing was not good. We got fried rice to go with hibachi and it was not very good. My wife said "I have never left a hibachi restaurant hungry till now" Highlights The chef was funny and gave a good show. We have been here multiple times, they food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's amazing and others it's plain, and we usually stick to the same sushi orders when we come. Decided to give this place a try. Started with the Tako-Yaki, teriyaki beef, and Kushi-Yaki, fried octopus. Definitely worth a try! We all shared the Yukon Roll, Dynamite Roll, and the Mountain Roll. Very good food and friendly folks working here. I enjoy a good hibachi cooked on the grill in front of me every once in a while. But, sometimes I just enjoy to order the food and enjoy the company I am with. You can get both here. Menu items are great. Large helpings with generous portions of meat and vegetables. I haven't had the chance to experience the sushi. They seem to have quite the assortment. Maybe next time? If you are in the mood for a cocktail, they have a pretty good set up. Sake, Japanese Whiskey, Japanese beer, and a laundry list of domestic alcohol. Beer is a little limited, but, you can find something you enjoy. Restaurant seems clean, and it's fairly quiet. Early in the evening wife told the staff that the women's restroom was filthy. They all bustled around like they were right on it. One hour later it was still filthy. My husband and I were a little leery about eating here because of some of the reviews BUT it was awesome! They have a weekly BOGO sushi roll and this week it was the gecko so we tried it out and as my husband said "This is everything I have been looking for in a cooked roll!" I had the Sooner roll and it was outstanding, I would definitely get it again. I also ordered a spicy tuna roll because they are my fave but I will order something different next time, it just isn't what I am used to and too much siracha for me. This is my go to Sushi place in Yukon, Oklahoma. We always start with the edamame (salted soy beans) and get some kind of appetizer like tempura or (tako) squid salad. We have tried both the hibachi and the sashimi, sushi and enjoy all of it. After trying so many different rolls my favorite is the chirashi bowl or the giant sushi boat if we have the entire family. One trick I like to do is get no spicy mayo on anything, this helps to taste more of the fish your paying top dollar for with out drowning it in sauce, also a little healthier!! If you must just get a side of it and limit how much is actually on each piece. I am from the west coast so finding a local sushi spot that comes close to home on the quality was very exciting to me. read more

Living in Yukon, we sometimes get tired of the chain options we have, and because we both work in the city, we rarely want to drive back out to eat. In comes Tokyo Moon, a hibachi/sushi place located between a nail salon and a bubble tea place. We got there for a late lunch on a weekday off- we walked in at 1:45 and they closed at 2 but they welcomed us in happily. For $10 each, we had our choice of edamame or gyoza, miso soup or salad, a sushi roll, and hibachi (veggies and rice with either chicken, beef, salmon or shrimp). Each course arrived at the right temperature and at a good pace (we never had two courses stacked- which is a pet peeve of mine!). I believe our waitress was also the owner and she was friendly and helpful while working to close down the restaurant without making us feel like we were a bother. We love gyoza and this was perfectly crispy and a good portion. The miso was standard, but again, served perfectly hot. I had a Hawaiian roll and it was great- not Neko grade good, but much better than what you'd expect from a strip mall restaurant. We both devoured every bite of our hibachi meat (chicken and salmon) and vegetables. It was actually kind of nice to get the hibachi without the song and dance- but I would love to come back here for the song and dance! All in all, great value for delicious and fresh food in a convenient location. I'm honestly only giving int 4 stars because I feel like I need to come in for dinner to get the full effect. The hibachi is your standard show with a decent amount of veggies and rice to go with your choice of beef, chicken, or shrimp. I like the sushi menu in particular.
