First visit to Hana Sushi and very pleased with the sushi rolls I got. The Hawaiian roll was fresh and light. I enjoyed having a selection with something other than the same old flavors. The coconut sauce is light and just the right amount. The LI roll was very flavorful as well and the shrimp was fresh with flavor in both rolls. I look forward to making my way thru their menu

Wow, where do I begin. This was a bad experience front start to finish. Only eat here if you enjoy your cooked food being coughed and sneezed on by kitchen staff. Sushi chef had a mask on and took standard hygiene procedures. So we ate the sushi. Which had somewhat dry rice and chunks of jalapeño in it. Kitchen staff had no mask and coughed as they brought out food and were loudly sneezing in the back. When we mentioned we did not want the food from the kitchen because of this. The woman at the counter got argumentative. No apology was offered. She removed 1 of the 2 items from the kitchen after arguing. Additionally no one greeted us, checked on us or even came to give us our check. This was a very cold experience from start to finish. Not only will I not be eating here again but I discourage anyone from eating here. The sushi was just okay, the experience awful and I don't trust anything not from the sushi bar.

Delicious! Decent service. Could use ambience. Have been twice, same feeling. Good food will be back!

when she brought the ticket then I seen she charged me extra for the Sriracha Sauce. I've came before and they hadn't charged me.

They charge xtra for sriracha also when you get food togo and ask for drink they charge you for the drink and extra for the cup...

Was on this side of town and craved sushi, so we thought to give this place a try. Mistakes were made. By all means, the food ended up tasting okay, thank goodness, but overall, we wouldn't go back. Upon walking in, someone behind the counter told us to sit wherever we'd like. After being seated, a child, maybe 12 or so, gave us menus and walked away. He soon came back, and asked us what we'd like to drink and if we were ready to order. We ordered the Chirashi bowl to share, because normally, at other sushi places, it's enough for me and my husband to split. When I asked, they did say it came with 15 pieces of sashimi. It also came with your choice of soup or salad. Now, here's the silly part. We waited FORTY MINUTES for the one chirashi plate. The restaurant only had three tables occupied, not busy at all. However, we did notice that they took care of the to go orders pretty promptly. So maybe a good tip would be to just order take out if you're hungry. When our food finally came out, boy, were we underwhelmed. You can see in my pictures the size of the dish, and the sizing of the sushi. Such incredibly modest cuts. It left much to be desired. However, it did taste good, hence the 3 stars. We finished eating and I was definitely still hungry. But not at all willing to wait another 40 min for food. Sad day.

    The bill! Pretty affordable!

Been looking for a place to find a nice/affordable sushi restaurant around Mustang & Yukon. There wasn't very many people sitting inside the restaurant, but I think it's more well known for its to-go orders. Anyways! We got a couple of rolls and were impressed! The rolls were flavorful and very fresh tasting. It's a pretty solid little place. Don't overlook this restaurant just cause it's kinda hidden. This is a family owned restaurant too, so make sure to support your local businesses!

It makes an entrance like it already knows you are going to talk about it later. The spice had attitude without turning into a stunt. Enough kick to wake everything up. Enough balance to keep it delicious instead of chaotic. Very confident. Very "I did not come here to be background sushi." The beef negimaki was absolutely the star. No debate. Tender. Savory. Glossy in that rich, almost dramatic way that makes you take one bite and immediately start guarding your plate. It had that perfect sweet-salty balance that makes a dish feel expensive even when you are trying to act casual about it. This was not just good. This was the kind of dish that makes the rest of the table look around like, wait, did we all order wrong? Full main character energy. Full Beyoncé walking on stage and everybody else suddenly remembering they are the opening act. The spicy tuna roll was fresh in the way you actually want sushi to be fresh. Clean flavor. Bright. Cool. Nicely balanced. Nothing fishy. Nothing tired. Just a roll that understood the assignment and executed. It did not need to be flashy because the freshness was doing all the talking. Very dependable. Very polished. The kind of bite that quietly reminds you why classics stay classics. And the staff? Amazing is actually the correct word. Warm from the start. Attentive the whole way through. On point without hovering. They made the entire experience feel easy, which is a real skill and not everybody has it. They were present. Helpful. Smooth. The kind of team that can make a dinner go from good to excellent just by knowing how to read the room. Real hospitality. Not fake nice. Not robotic. Just people who clearly know what they are doing and know how to make guests feel taken care of. Honestly, the staff were moving like a seasoned ensemble cast. Tight timing. Strong chemistry. No weak links. The atmosphere helped too. Lively without being too much. Comfortable without feeling boring. The kind of place where you can have a casual dinner, a cute date, or one of those meals where you say you are just grabbing something quick and then somehow stay way longer than planned. Good energy. Good flow. No weirdness. Just a room that knows how to hold a night together. it's giving... The Bear if Richie ran front of house and Beyoncé ordered the beef negimaki.

They had fun, enjoyed the show, and left happy... and honestly, that's what mattered most. That said, as someone who has been to many hibachi restaurants over the years, this experience was a bit of a mixed grill. We made reservations (which ended up not being necessary since lunch was not busy--definitely a plus) and were seated quickly at the grill. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal, keeping drinks refilled and checking in regularly. Appetizers ordered: Edamame, Calamari, Takoyaki, and Tobiko sushi. * The edamame was spot on. * The takoyaki (fried octopus balls with sauce, mayo, and bonito flakes) was a pleasant surprise and very good. * The calamari came out greasy and overcooked, though the flavor itself was decent. * The Tobiko sushi? Let's just say the crunchy, salty pop of flying fish roe wasn't a hit with anyone except me. Everything arrived piping hot, which is good--but definitely required caution when eating. For soup and salad, everyone chose the soup while I went with the salad. The salad was underwhelming--just iceberg lettuce and dressing. I sampled the soup and found it hot, but the flavor seemed off and not to my liking. The biggest issue was timing. Despite being the only hibachi group seated, there was a long delay--well over 15 minutes--between appetizers and the chef arriving at the grill. Thankfully, we had plenty of appetizers to bridge the gap. When the chef did arrive, the presentation was fun and energetic. Our grandsons loved it, and that's the key takeaway. While the performance didn't wow me personally, the kids were fully entertained, and all entrées were cooked to everyone's liking. One small disappointment: most hibachi places do something special for birthday guests, but there was no acknowledgment here. Not a deal-breaker--especially with Pie Junkie just up the street--but worth mentioning. A few final notes: * Salt & pepper shakers and soy sauce bottles appeared sticky, as if not wiped down between seatings. * My wife mentioned the restroom was not clean--the floor felt sticky, and it was a shared restroom for men and women, which could use more attention. Bottom line: This was a mixed experience--some good, some not so good. Personally, I wouldn't return, having experienced stronger hibachi restaurants elsewhere. However, our grandson left smiling, and we were able to give them the birthday experience they wanted--and that made it worthwhile. Three stars feels fair.

To share we got the crunchy rice tuna and the blossom roll with a mix of the fish options (like a rainbow roll). The crunchy rice tuna has such a nice combination of textures with a little crunch from the rice and creaminess from the avocado and fish. The roll was delicious. Fresh fish, the rice in the roll was just as it should be-not too mushy (a problem I find with a lot of sushi places I've tried in Oklahoma) or too firm. For myself I got the sashimi tasting which was an absolutely delicious assortment of seafood. All of the pieces were well seasoned and tasted fresh. My husband got the fried chicken and sukiyaki. He was very pleased with both. As a bonus I got a cheesecake because we were celebrating my birthday and they gave us each a shot. I appreciate that they gave me a non-alcoholic shot since I don't drink alcohol. Overall the food was fantastic and the service was great but it comes with a corresponding price tag. Was it worth it? In my opinion, yes, most definitely. I will say though that if you don't care for seafood there are options for you, but you likely won't appreciate this place nearly as much as someone who does.

One of our friends ordered the sushi set as his entree, which comes with 5 pieces of nigiri and a sushi roll. He only got the nigiri (salmon, regular tuna, mackerel, and 2 tamago nigiri). When we brought it to one of the servers attention, she told us it was an either/or option. After talking with other friends, they told us they received both, and the nigiri was higher quality, like toro. Three of our friends ordered the pork katsu. One of the katsus was brought out early and the other two took some time. After the other two katsus came out, it was noticeable that the first one was probably refried, which made us think it was old and they didn't want to waste it. We also learned that our other friends said that when they went, the server told them that if there was anything they liked, they could ask for more to be brought to the table. Our server did not tell us this. And the sad part is that they actually took some dishes away from the buffet and didn't refill it, which was the salmon sashimi. Overall, I feel like the experience was disappointing and the advertising was misleading. There wasn't much fresh fish available, as one might think. Sounds like service isn't equal and great across the board. Some friends enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet, some other friends had the same experience we did.
