So this place is one hell of a sushi spot!!! The red Canyon is probably at the top of my list now! It was so delicious. The service was amazing. And I love the atmosphere of this place as soon as you walk into the door. Whether you want to sit outside or inside or on the ground, this place is head above the rest!!! Great job guys 10 out of 10

Came here on early Saturday evening with my mom and had by far the best fried haddock I've ever had in my life. RUN do not walk. If I'm being honest the star of the show was the fish & chips. Started with fried calamari which comes with a wasabi aioli that has depth in flavor. Calamari was great in presentation. Calamari was okay for me. Volcano roll was fantastic & had great sesame flavor & well we know about the fried haddock. Service was prompt & only had to ask for the waiter once & it was about a to go order. Great experience will be back!

DELICIOUS! The place was so cool and such a vibe and our waiter was so friendly and helpful in helping us choose food.

I love sushi! The problem is it's hard to find a good sushi place especially in Oklahoma. However, Sushi Neko does not disappoint. The sushi I got was a cooked roll called dynamite but with shrimp instead and it was to die for! Every bite was just perfection and tender. The noodles were okay for me, there were too much chicken in my opinion compared to the noodles ratio but it was still delicious. Service- 9/10 Ambiance 8/10 Taste 8.5/10

My second trip here I discovered the desserts and OMG they are fantastic! I am a big fan of green tea anything so we tried three of the green tea desserts and we loved them all. Sushi is great and service was fantastic!

I've been coming here since the summer of 2023. I moved here in 2024 and this place just is my favorite Japanese restaurant so far. It has the most favorable "sushi bar" experience in the OKC for me. The portions are good sized, the staff is friendly and polite. They offer you a warm washcloth for your hands when you first come in. The vibe here in the restaurant is usually "pleasantly busy". So far it's my Japanese restaurant home. They never hurry us out - we can always eat to our hearts' content and talk ourselves hoarse here.

I just want to preface that we are not whatsoever picky people but that was definitely one of the worst restaurant experiences we've ever had. First off, we would like to give a shoutout to our waitress, she was lovely. However, a few things went really wrong: 1. We waited over an HOUR for our "boatload sushi" 2. We approached the person in front, who was running the place, to ask for an eta for our food. She said she will check in and let us know which she never did and she didn't even apologize for the wait and simply told us that they were behind on the sushi orders. 3. Even after waiting, they still got our request (no masago) wrong. 4. The food was disappointing and not worth the wait (except for the eel ngiri and spicy mayo). We can't even tell the difference between the new york roll and spider roll. I never thought sushi could be so bland lol. Also, the rolls were mostly rice and cucumbers. See pictures for reference. 5. They didn't do anything to remedy the situation which made us feel like they didn't care about our business. Also, note that we were sitting next to a couple who they have forgotten about. They were sitting for 30 minutes before they finally approached the front to get something started. Safe to say that this will be our first and last time here, sadly.

First time here , I came around 7:30 in a Friday night and it was packed! At a seat at the sushi bar our waiters were very friendly, I smelled really good and they had a lot of options. I had the White peach mule and stoli dolly to drink both were super good! I had the gyoza to eat and I forgot my sassy shrimp sushi sassy something and soooooo yummy both. It was a very chill vibe wasn't too loud to me I really enjoyed myself. Will be back !!

Came on a Friday night and got seated immediately. We ordered karaage to start and got 4 rolls. Food came out super fast! The karaage was really crispy and the rolls were amazing. I loved the roll with the tempura salmon. Service was great, our waitress came by to refill drinks a ton. The prices were pretty good for sushi too. Loved the interior decor it was super cute

The fish was fresh and not fishy. The flavor profile for our roll was delicious. The hand roll was generously stuffed and had the perfect amount of sauce that only enhanced the taste without overpowering the fish. Service was fast, accommodating and our server was very kind. Probably my new regular sushi spot.

To share we got the crunchy rice tuna and the blossom roll with a mix of the fish options (like a rainbow roll). The crunchy rice tuna has such a nice combination of textures with a little crunch from the rice and creaminess from the avocado and fish. The roll was delicious. Fresh fish, the rice in the roll was just as it should be-not too mushy (a problem I find with a lot of sushi places I've tried in Oklahoma) or too firm. For myself I got the sashimi tasting which was an absolutely delicious assortment of seafood. All of the pieces were well seasoned and tasted fresh. My husband got the fried chicken and sukiyaki. He was very pleased with both. As a bonus I got a cheesecake because we were celebrating my birthday and they gave us each a shot. I appreciate that they gave me a non-alcoholic shot since I don't drink alcohol. Overall the food was fantastic and the service was great but it comes with a corresponding price tag. Was it worth it? In my opinion, yes, most definitely. I will say though that if you don't care for seafood there are options for you, but you likely won't appreciate this place nearly as much as someone who does.

One of our friends ordered the sushi set as his entree, which comes with 5 pieces of nigiri and a sushi roll. He only got the nigiri (salmon, regular tuna, mackerel, and 2 tamago nigiri). When we brought it to one of the servers attention, she told us it was an either/or option. After talking with other friends, they told us they received both, and the nigiri was higher quality, like toro. Three of our friends ordered the pork katsu. One of the katsus was brought out early and the other two took some time. After the other two katsus came out, it was noticeable that the first one was probably refried, which made us think it was old and they didn't want to waste it. We also learned that our other friends said that when they went, the server told them that if there was anything they liked, they could ask for more to be brought to the table. Our server did not tell us this. And the sad part is that they actually took some dishes away from the buffet and didn't refill it, which was the salmon sashimi. Overall, I feel like the experience was disappointing and the advertising was misleading. There wasn't much fresh fish available, as one might think. Sounds like service isn't equal and great across the board. Some friends enjoyed the weekend lunch buffet, some other friends had the same experience we did.

My friends ordered a few drinks, and we started with the edamame, chicken karaage, and miso soup. The appetizers were decent, but nothing particularly memorable, and all of our miso soups came out slightly cold. Our server was friendly, but because the restaurant was so busy, service overall was pretty slow. We also had to wait quite a while just to get wasabi for our sushi. I ordered the sashimi dinner, which was good, but again, nothing spectacular. My husband ordered several pieces of nigiri and thought it tasted good, but not the freshest sushi he's had. Our friends felt similarly about their meals. I don't really have much negative to say aside from the slower service and the miso soup bowls not being the best design-wise since one of the helpers accidentally spilled mine onto the table, and they also seem to let the soup cool down quickly. The sushi was fairly fresh, just not the best I've had in the metro. Overall, I'd say this place is okay, but not quite what all the hype made it out to be.

They had fun, enjoyed the show, and left happy... and honestly, that's what mattered most. That said, as someone who has been to many hibachi restaurants over the years, this experience was a bit of a mixed grill. We made reservations (which ended up not being necessary since lunch was not busy--definitely a plus) and were seated quickly at the grill. Our waiter was attentive throughout the meal, keeping drinks refilled and checking in regularly. Appetizers ordered: Edamame, Calamari, Takoyaki, and Tobiko sushi. * The edamame was spot on. * The takoyaki (fried octopus balls with sauce, mayo, and bonito flakes) was a pleasant surprise and very good. * The calamari came out greasy and overcooked, though the flavor itself was decent. * The Tobiko sushi? Let's just say the crunchy, salty pop of flying fish roe wasn't a hit with anyone except me. Everything arrived piping hot, which is good--but definitely required caution when eating. For soup and salad, everyone chose the soup while I went with the salad. The salad was underwhelming--just iceberg lettuce and dressing. I sampled the soup and found it hot, but the flavor seemed off and not to my liking. The biggest issue was timing. Despite being the only hibachi group seated, there was a long delay--well over 15 minutes--between appetizers and the chef arriving at the grill. Thankfully, we had plenty of appetizers to bridge the gap. When the chef did arrive, the presentation was fun and energetic. Our grandsons loved it, and that's the key takeaway. While the performance didn't wow me personally, the kids were fully entertained, and all entrées were cooked to everyone's liking. One small disappointment: most hibachi places do something special for birthday guests, but there was no acknowledgment here. Not a deal-breaker--especially with Pie Junkie just up the street--but worth mentioning. A few final notes: * Salt & pepper shakers and soy sauce bottles appeared sticky, as if not wiped down between seatings. * My wife mentioned the restroom was not clean--the floor felt sticky, and it was a shared restroom for men and women, which could use more attention. Bottom line: This was a mixed experience--some good, some not so good. Personally, I wouldn't return, having experienced stronger hibachi restaurants elsewhere. However, our grandson left smiling, and we were able to give them the birthday experience they wanted--and that made it worthwhile. Three stars feels fair.

The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside--just a tiny little white and blue building. Sitting right off 10th, parking is tight as well. Inside isn't fancy, but that's my vibe. There is an outdoor patio I didn't get to check out, but the road noise from 10th is pretty noticeable even inside. Overall the atmosphere feels small town coastal, local, and not pretentious, but does suffer slightly from its location. Service was friendly, and paced as expected for fine dining. Honestly, it's refreshing to not feel rushed at a dinner service. We enjoyed our conversation over a bottle off their (small) wine list instead. We ordered the spring pre fix and it was just ALL hits, no misses. I wrinkled my nose at the menu a bit because I don't particularly love fennel or mint or lamb or hell even salmon but I I have been converted. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. The bread...the bread was the best bread starter I've tried. My wife hates oysters and loved the oyster (she tries everything cos she's not a child). The gnocchi was pillowy soft and amazing, not gummy or dense or mushy. The asparagus?! Amaze amaze amaze. 5 perfect courses (6 if you count the 2x different items for the table) for $77 a person?!?! Yes. We're going back asap.

From local food critic Jared Gleaton Eats full critique…read more Atmosphere and Hospitality: The atmosphere at Sedalia's feels less like a polished coastal seafood house and more like the hidden gem tucked behind a bustling boardwalk fishing restaurant--the kind locals quietly point you toward. We were greeted by Silvana, who warmly led us to our table while Becky guided the service throughout the evening. Plates were seamlessly swapped, water glasses never sat empty, and Becky demonstrated an impressive command of the menu and preparations. Throughout the meal, Zack and members of the kitchen team delivered several dishes themselves, describing each course in detail and offering a small but genuine slice of coastal hospitality. Food: Baked oyster, kent blanc, smoked trout roe, chive breadcrumbs ($35 1/2 Dozen) The dinner opens with a borderline transcendent bite of baked oyster, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection, singing across the palate. A rich beurre blanc pairs seamlessly with the briny oyster while bursts of smoked trout roe punctuate each bite. The breadcrumbs on the back end provide just enough contrast in texture to round out an immaculate first course. Grilled focaccia for the table, salt cod butter, Szechuan oil, lime, chive, pecorino, balsamic ($15) The grilled focaccia is thick, fluffy, and fantastic. Notes of rich, airy bread give way to salty, buttery layers from the cod butter before finishing with subtle hints of char and acidity from the accompaniments. Barramundi tartare, kumquat, masa nachos, serrano & ancho chilies, spinach ($17) An excellent preparation, the tartare rests atop a thick masa nacho. The barramundi is soft yet slightly firm, its delicate flavor profile lifted by bright notes of kumquat and a subtle heat creeping through the back end from the serrano. Beef tongue anticuchos & la huancaína ($20) The tongue is beautifully prepared--tender with just enough structure. The anticuchos seasoning and huancaína sauce add a nutty, earthy depth that bursts across the palate with each bite. Duck confit pecorino crumble, pappardelle, alubia blanca beans, pecorino ($26) An absolutely beautiful layered dish. The rich duck confit is soft and rich with strong initial notes of pecorino giving way to middle notes of duck and end notes of tomato. Though presented in a tomato based pasta the addition of alubia blanca beans creates a creamy texture that surprises the palate, transforming what appears to be a brothy preparation into something far richer and more complex. Crispy fried hake, mojo rojo, aioli, potato ($23) A thoughtful take on fish and chips. The hake is fried perfectly, with an excellent fish-to-batter ratio. The aioli provides a creamy counterpoint while the mojo rojo adds depth and warmth. Grilled tuna collar with beurre blanc sauce (Special) This special was absolutely stunning and one of the finest bites of 2026. The rich, fatty tuna cheek is tempered beautifully by the creamy, tangy beurre blanc and fragrant tarragon. Each element complements the other, creating a layered, indulgent bite that borders on perfection. Potatoes a la huancaína, ají amarillo, sorghum, olive ($14) This course pushes firmly into transcendent territory. The soft layers of potato are draped in an ethereal ají amarillo sauce that delivers gentle heat while coating the palate in luxurious flavor. Each bite teases you into the next. Honey semifreddo, pomegranate molasses, meringue, citrus ($14) A triumphant end to the evening. The honey semifreddo melts effortlessly on the palate, cleansing and refreshing before giving way to the deeper sweetness of pomegranate molasses and delicate notes of meringue and citrus. A beautifully balanced and borderline transcendent finale.
