I've eaten here a few times and I think they have some tasty ramen and gyoza that travels well for takeout too. I really hope they do well.

Came here for lunch and had a really great experience. Ordered the vegan ramen, which was honestly…read moreone of the best bowls of ramen I've had. The broth was very flavorful, and for once, this bowl was huge, so well-worth it. The atmosphere in the place is clean, modern, and comfortable. Hence, it would be a great spot to sit down for a meal. Additionally, the place wasn't too noisy or packed, which made the lunch atmosphere relaxed. The service was what really stood out to me: Upon entering, I was greeted and the staff regularly checked on me to see if I needed anything. They even refilled my drink before it was empty, which I appreciated since I like sipping on soda while I eat. Because the portion size was so big, they even packed my leftovers into a to-go box for me, so that was nice. The food tasted really authentic. I went to Japan last summer, and their egg tasted almost exactly the same. In general, I felt this was a nice lunch and that I would definitely come back here.

Nori Hibachi Ramen feels like three restaurants got trapped in the same building during a storm and…read morejust decided to make it work. Is it sushi? Yes. Is it ramen? Also yes. Is it hibachi? Somehow yes again. Walking in feels like the culinary version of a personality test having a nervous breakdown. The good news is the sushi side of this identity crisis absolutely works. The specialty rolls were creative without crossing into "we put Hot Cheetos and gummy bears on this one" territory. Big flavors, fresh ingredients, and combinations that actually made sense. The nigiri was also excellent. Fresh fish, nicely sliced, clean flavor. No complaints there at all. Then the ramen arrived and apparently the seasoning chef had already gone home for the evening. The broth tasted like somebody whispered "tonkotsu" into a pot of warm water and hoped for the best. It desperately needed salt, MSG, anything that would make it wake up and realize it had responsibilities. Not offensive. Just aggressively average. And then there was the atmosphere. Now to be fair, this was not the restaurant's fault. They got ambushed by what appeared to be an entire youth baseball league celebrating the end of the season. Imagine trying to enjoy sushi while sitting inside a Chuck E. Cheese hostage situation. Kids running everywhere. Screaming. Yelling. One child may have briefly achieved low Earth orbit near the hostess stand. Meanwhile the parents reacted to this chaos the same way people react to a car alarm in a parking lot. Complete indifference. The staff honestly handled it as well as they could. Tuesday is apparently kids special night, so consider this less of a complaint and more of a public service announcement. If you're looking for a quiet dinner, maybe don't roll in during Little League victory parade hours. That said, the sushi was good enough and the restaurant handled the chaos with enough grace that I'm rounding up to four stars. Just know what you're walking into. Come for the sushi. Lower expectations slightly for the ramen. And maybe bring noise-canceling headphones if it's Tuesday night.
