This is by far the best Togo's I have ever had. What do I mean? They have the best customer service and quality, FRESH FOOD!! I've been a lifelong patron of Togo's for many, many years. Let's just say my go to sandwich back in the day was a LARGE #11 on onion bread, and oh man, those were the days. Large cold roast beef, extra avocado, everything on it, extra pepperoncini's, and of course extra salt and EXTRA pepper. Yes, those WERE the days. Obviously, the #11 doesn't even exist anymore, but I'm just putting it out there, I've been a longtime customer. Trust me when I say the manager, Lulu, at this store is awesome. She has been fantastic every single time I walk in. You can tell immediately when you walk through the door that her team absolutely loves working for her. They bring happy, professional energy that creates an amazing, feel good atmosphere right from the start. Typically, I'm a run in, grab my sandwich, and go kind of guy because I'm always in a hurry. But my first visit to this store back in September 2025 completely changed that mindset. I've since made this a weekly to bi weekly lunch stop because the food and service are on another level. It's not normal for me to write reviews, but I felt like I had to share this. The manager, Lulu, is something special. I can tell you that my first trip into this place made all the difference for me. At the time, I was working 14 plus hour days, taking late lunches if I even took one, and just feeling completely burned out. I happened to drive by the store that day and thought, let me grab a sandwich and get back to the office. The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted with smiles from both staff members behind the counter. The manager herself was hustling, moving fast, running the place, and still ended up taking my order and making my sandwich. We started chatting, just basic small talk, and I told her about the stress, the long hours, and how exhausted I was feeling. She stopped, looked up at me, and said, "I hear you," and explained she had also been working long hours covering shifts for staff that had called out. That hit me. I could see behind her professionalism and that big bright smile that she was just as exhausted, but she still showed up with positive energy and made me feel like I was the only customer in the room. That changed everything. While making my sandwich, she customized it into her own version of my old #11, and somehow managed to put a huge smile on my face. I thanked her, paid, and went on my way, but I went back to work with a completely different mindset than I had just 45 minutes earlier. That vibe stayed with me the rest of the day. A few days later, I went back just to thank her. I wasn't even planning on eating. I walked into the same smiles and that same upbeat atmosphere, actually it felt even better than before. They were busy, but everyone, including customers, was talking, laughing, and just enjoying being there. It had that same uplifting feeling I remembered. As I approached the counter, I got her attention and asked if she remembered me. She looked at me and said, "Of course," and even remembered my "special #11 sandwich." I just looked at her and said, "Thank you." She asked, "For what?" I told her it was for everything, the service, the energy, going above and beyond, and bringing back my old #11 in her own way. But more than that, it was how it feels walking into her store. She smiled and said, "No problem," and that she appreciated my business. And I've been going back ever since. In fact, this week I'm placing a big catering order for an important client and team. That's how much I trust this location. Just go in and you'll immediately understand what I mean. Hands down, the best Togo's I've ever experienced. You're not just getting a sandwich, you're getting an experience. When my son picked up the sandwiches, they gave him our order and assured him they gave him everything. I'm been going to these guys for 2 years now and they have been the best staffs I have ever met. Lourdes been helping me since day one and she always kind, generous and full of humor. She can turn your bad day to good by trying their sandwich or even a simple salad. Lourdes is not the only awesome staff you will meet, there are other staffs you can count on to turn your frown upside down. I have been coming here for years because the sandwich quality has always been decent and filling but in my most recent visit I was really disappointed in my sandwich, they literally put a slice and a half of sandwich meat on me and my boyfriends sandwiches, so we primarily were just eating bread and lettuce. I even pointed this out to the staff and they said that was the normal portion size which is completely not true considering I've been coming to Togos for over 10years and this has never been the case . Also at this location they claim the restroom is "always" closed , and my last visit I asked and they literally escorted me to the restroom because they didn't want to give me the key . I was wanting a cold tuna sandwich, so I stopped at TOGO'S. There was only 1 other customer inside and I could see 4 employees but only 1 young guy was behind the counter. He approached me and I told him #20 on parmesan. He said something back but I couldn't hear because he was wearing a mask. I said I'm sorry can you repeat, he said something again but all I hear is mumble mumble. I ask again excuse me, what did you say. He then repeats louder & I finally hear mustard or mayo. I said, yes both please. The. I tell him sorry, I couldn't hear you, because you are talking very quiet. I then say do it Togo way. He seemed a bit upset, probably because his older 3 other co workers were not helping. After he finished & I paid he then told me to enjoy & have a nice day. Why would these older coworkers allow a younger coworker to get a bit stressed out, to me it's all about customer service & team work. My sandwich was great. Customer service was great. One thing: The store had an extremely strong chemical cleaner smell. The smell was so strong, it stuck to everything. The bag that my sandwich was in smelled like cleaner. The napkins smelled like cleaner. Every time I wiped my face/hands, it smelled like cleaner. This Togo's is always packed at lunchtime. It's located near the hospitals so the parking lot is always full during lunch. It's quick and convenient, just like the same suggests. I always order the California club with a soup of the day. The cold sandwiches are always fresh and they work fast to get you in and out. The service is QUICK! The staff is always helpful. Awful experience. I'm never going back to that location. I used the app to preorder. First off, I ordered a veggie sandwich and added Turkey. When I get there, I see a hand written sign that says "no Turkey". So I'm wondering why they didn't contact me via phone, app, or email to tell me they couldn't complete my order. Then I figure they will tell me they couldn't make my order when they see I'm there. But, no, they just hand me my bag and say thank you. When I asked if they made my sandwich with the Turkey I payed for they said no. So they were just fine giving me my order without what I paid for and not saying anything about it. So I ask for ham instead. They give me a small amount of ham (see pics). I said I got the large sandwich and asked if that amount was for the large sandwich. They said the amount of protein on the large and regular sandwiches is the same.... Secondly, I ordered a wrap but they gave me a salad. I've been either eating here or catering with them over 3 years and I have only had the BEST services with the staffs and the husband & wife owners. Gina and Steve are literally so professional, nice, fast and patient. They will work with you honestly until you are happy with your catering or order. I had a big department meeting of 60+ people and since I've used them many many times in the past for catering I thought sammies would be perfect for today's event. Called them up, Steve answered and helped me with my order. Btw...they know people on a 1st name basis here. Love that. Steve recommended what I should order for the size of people I had. It was easy, fast and he even told me I had too much food. Now people....where can you find such genuine people that will honestly say, cut back, don't need to spend so much on your order! Right? They really should have the Staples's "That Was Easy" button so people can push on it everytime we deal with them. OMG! Service was going great until ... the lady making my sandwich decided to multitask. While in the middle of making my sandwich she decided to assist the Grub hub or Door Dash guy. In a matter of seconds, she ran over to him, grabbed a receipt from off the counter, grabbed a bag near the register, checked the paper stamped to the bag, and handed him the bag. ALL WHILE STILL WEARING THE GLOVES SHE PUT ON TO MAKE MY SANDWICH. When she was finished with him, she walked back over to finish making my sandwich. My wife and I came in to get some ice cream. While we were here we decided to get a couple of sandwiches. Both ladies were very nice as we ordered our sandwiches. As we got the total for two sandwiches my wife and I looked at each other and thought why so expensive for just two sandwiches? $30.26 So we asked to have our receipt. When they handed us our receipt we noticed that the two "ladies" had given themselves a $5.04 tip. When confronted they said "oh, you must of pushed it yourself " My wife then said no. To be honest it was my first time eating at Togo's and I'm glad I did try it. I got the hot pastrami sandwhich, and oh boy I love it! I didn't know the sandwhiches are huge (at least to me) hehe. I don't know if I'm allowed to compare the other sandwhich place but definitely Togo's is way better. I'm not a huge sandwhich fan but only Togo's will make me crave for sandwhiches. ToGo's is a special kind of place because like In-N-Out you only find it in abundance in California. On a recent visit from some Las Vegasans (eh?) they had a hankering for their tasty toasted sandwiches. This location was small, but clean and located near the freeway which made it easy to find on a stay near Disneyland. The service was average and so was the speed. About 5 minutes for two sandwiches when we were the only customers. You pay about a dollar per inch, so when you talk about food that's pretty decent. read more
