I didn't notice the difference until I had already started painting, and it caused a huge headache. This could've been avoided by having the information on our account and their system, more clearly accessible, or by having employees with more experience of the painting industry. I ended up getting one gallon of paint at no charge after much debate, but I've been painting for several years and never had something like this happen , if you use Miller paint, be very careful that you communicate exactly the kind of paint you need and ask them what specific information they need to get the right paint. I will never use Miller paint again after this experience.

When in a University town, I always make it a point to visit the college bookstore. These days, the…read moreword bookstore is a misnomer, as maybe there's small textbook and stationary sections tucked behind waves of branded merchandise. That's what keeps the doors open I suppose. I stopped into the SOU Bookstore last week after Gayle and I enjoyed breakfast at nearby Morning Glory. Their space is nicely laid out, but sparse. I canvased the whole store and ended up purchasing a "Rocky the Red-Tailed Hawk" magnet as my souvenir. I'd call this experience interesting and unremarkable.

Ok, I'm sure it's like this at every other college bookstore. You register for classes, you need…read morebooks, you buy them books at your campus bookstore, you are broke for a month, you get hard up for cash and start selling your body, drugs, organs, etc... Well, today I dropped $500 on textbooks, one of which was $180. I can't complain, I'm a math major, and we all know math books will rip out your heart and eat your babies. The part that makes me mad is what I'll be able to sell them back for at the end of the term. Fall term, I bought a book for $40, and they offered me $2.95!!! when I tried to sell it back to them. Well, thank you for your generous offer. I am going to go to 7-11 with my $2.95 and treat myself to a nice cold forty. I can complain more, but I'm sure you all have your own stories to tell about this and how life is so unfair. Here's something I do like about the bookstore: their art section! They have a great selection of pens, markers, pencils, paints, etc. I'd recommend checking out Ace Hardware as well, because they have a great art selection and are sometimes cheaper than the bookstore.
