I was able to get in and be seen fairly quickly. The doctor and the staff are nice and very personable. She also has good office hours so it works with my schedule like 99% of the time! Within the first initial visit, I felt much better. I've been with my previous chiropractor for a year and he only managed my symptoms of pain, never the root cause. Like, shouldn't it be weird that a 23 year old has the pain of an 80 year old!?!? Like come on. Within the first couple sessions, Dr. Taheri was able to pinpoint my issues with the help of x-rays (which my previous chiro never even thought about) and lots of awesome chiro techniques she uses. My pain has went from EXTREME chronic 8-9/10 on the pain scale to a 5-6/10 after a few visits. Make sure you make it to your appointments or you may receive a $25 "no show" bill in the mail like I just did. Their paperwork clearly states they have the 'right' to do this, but I'm surprised that they actually did. not a good way to keep clients coming back. I'd book my appts a month in advance and sometimes work got in the way, resulting in me missing here and there. i would expect a stern 'talking to' about missed appts or possibly a warning before blind bill that's twice my co pay. LOL. Oh well. If you're looking for 'new' approaches to adjustments, go. If you're looking to have an 'old school' adjustment, you may want to look else where.

Searched for chiropractors on Yelp, view the search list, looked at the stars, read the reviews, decided on Kingstowne Family Chiropractic. 1/3/25 approximately 1:30pm I walk in, no one in sight, 1 minute later a friendly face appears "hello can I help you". I say hello are you taking new patients, the woman responded "yes", I followed with I need an adjustment today if possible but I'll take the next available appointment, I'm in pain and have discomfort in my neck, shoulders and hips. The woman immediately asked me about insurance, I provided her the insurance information but informed her my policy did not take effect until February and that I would be paying out of pocket. Immediately the woman says "we don't take your insurance", I said no problem I'll pay out of pocket. Immediately the woman say "well we're about to close but I can refer you to Dr. Connolly at the Spine Center, he takes your insurance ". I said I understand but I'm in pain and I'm paying out of pocket as my insurance does not take effect until February, the woman writes Dr. Connolly's name on the back of her business card and says "he can help you, we're about to close and I'm going on vacation so I can't schedule you". I said thank you and enjoy your vacation, I walk out the door, drive over to visit Dr. Connolly at the Spine Center... it's closed. I'm not sure why I was dismissed as I was at Kingstowne Family Chiropractic which had such great reviews but this is certainly not a practice that cares about a person being in pain and having chiropractic discomfort. * I would also like to add, I think the majority of the reviews on Yelp are fake, with the exception of my recent review, the reviews for the business are all from years ago, all 5 star, and the reviewers have little to no pictures or other reviews/contributions... that is definitely a red flag.
