The food is consistently delicious, and they serve generous portions sizes. It's a casual environment, approachable menu, with top notch customer service. I've ordered delivery from Todos more than I'd like to admit, but that can be said of a lot of restaurants so welcome to my review! I came here in Cinco de Mayo. Not a lot was going on, but the block party Todos had was advertised over the weekend so I figured I'd check it out. It was very busy with vendors, music, people and other activities on Valdez St. After getting on the waitlist we were seated within ten minutes. It was bustling with people inside, but they seemed to be going a pretty good job of crowd control. After we were seated the waiter came much faster than I thought they would considering how many tables they had. NO complaints in service. We were served quickly with our drinks followed but the chips, guacamole and salsa trio. Around the time we were finishing up with the appetizer our meals came out. I ordered the grande chicken tacos and a side of beans and rice. The amount of guacamole is what makes these tacos just a tad bit more than delightful. I think my chicken was grilled but I really can't remember - it tasted like it so maybe it was pollo asado. Also, the drinks were pretty good too. I ordered the mango margarita and he ordered the Cadillac margarita. The customer service was really great. I have to say, good customer service in as busy of a spot as this is normally average. Todos serves very solid Mexican food, margaritas and a great happy hour! They have my favorite bartered fish tacos in the area, served with great sauces of a variety of spice level. I especially love the chipotle salsa. I'm also a big fan of their breakfast burritos on the weekend and happy hour whenever I can -- their mango margarita is the best. They have some outdoor seating which is nice to take advantage of when you can. Lastly, you can order and check out via a QR code on your table so service is really easy, quick and smooth. read more

This was a good Mexican-inspired taco experience in uptown Oakland, CA. I visited on a weeknight and to my surprise it had a fairly light crowd. There is ample indoor seating, full bar, and bar seating. I like that their take-out food operation is at the entrance to the restaurant and separated from the main dining room. It seems the televisions in the main dining room are strategically situated so every diner can view the screen. The artwork in the dining room is also beautiful. The food was delicious. I ordered meatless nachos and their Baja Tacos which are beer battered fish tacos. Both were delicious and I would definitely return to try the tacos again. I'm not sure if there is a limitation on requesting additional tacos sauce but I did get a noticeable pause from a team member when I asked. I recommend clarifying the sauce accompaniments as what comes with the seafood tacos is a lime cream and roasted tomato salsa which in my opinion their particular versions delicious however not completely compatible. Clean, beautiful space - looks like a fun spot for a group hang, But I was there to grab Gregory's Gourmet Desserts from around the corner and looking for a little savory snack on the way home. Ordered a single fish taco to go and enjoyed it very much on the drive home. The battered fish needed a little bit more time to drain but other than that, was quite good. First in line! We could not wait for this event and to have a taste of the food! Ambiance: This is such a fun place to have happy hour with friends. Love the vibrant colors in the restaurant and art decor. It's loud but fun. There is street parking and we were lucky to find one right away. They have gender neutral restrooms and the place os ADA accessible. Food: The owner stated that the food style is "CalMex." Which means a fusion of California cuisine and traditional Mexican cooking. I tried a few different things when I was here. But I really loved their Empanadas (the shrimp and the beef). They weren't skimpy on the protein. Oh and the drinks were delicious. This is a new and modern Mexican restaurant in Oakland with a full bar, for those I you that like happy hour and margaritas! $5 weekdays 3-5 ;) FYI. I tried the steak and grilled chicken tacos. Both the chicken and steak had a lot of flavor, but the Steak was definitely the best of both because it was nice and tender. As a latino who grew up eating rice and beans I can honestly say their refried black beans and Spanish rice were ON POINT! Last but not least the Mango Margarita was perfect on this warm summer day! We have been trying to stop in here to eat and today was the day. To start, we were greeted by an employee with a slight frontal reveling dress on. This being, JMO, but inappropriate to be the greeter. Again JMO. Anyways to the meal. First order, mine. I decided on the cup of chicken chili verde. Presentation was very visually nice, taste was great except for upon receiving it, it came toddler temperature. No true heat temperature to it. I'm not one to send things back, so I just dealt with it. It was good, but would of been much better hot the way soup should be. Also up to eat was the quesadilla suiza. This had the outer texture of a chimichanga almost and was rolled up as a flat burrito. I initially asked for no guacamole and requested sour cream. I had assumed it would be on the side. To my surprise it was inside. Which I must say, didn't cook very well. It didn't stay creamy as it would have in a burrito, if that is a better description. Officemate ordered the Southwest Salad with chicken. They said overall it was good but the pico de gallo mixed with the dressing was a little overwhelming. But it was still enjoyable. Another officemate ordered the surf and turf burrito. They thoroughly enjoyed this (didn't get a picture) They liked there was a good amount of shrimp to each bite he had. We also ordered the chips and queso. Overall a good taste, had possibly a chorizo spice to it. The chips were just a tad over cooked (dark in color) To note: Order any extras at the time of ordering. Even tho we had asked for sour cream and didn't receive them, (mine came unknowingly inside) and another order didn't receive it. We asked the first employee who greeted us and we're charged $1.14 for it. We were not charged when first ordering so paying for it wasn't an issue. Just have having to leave our table and food was just the inconvenience. Overall not sure if we will be returning. The advantage is Gregory's Desserts is across the street (Today it was closed, Mondays) so you could always go there after. Came here for dinner after work on a Tuesday and think I've discovered my new taco Tuesday spot. With the location only being open a short while, everything was top notch, from the friendly bartender, solid drinks, quick food delivery, and delicious tacos and dessert. I wouldn't say it's nasty but I ordered the Quesaburria tacos, I ordered from uber eats, got here and the food was still hot and the tacos were crunchy. The issue is the lack of seasoning, the sauce was bland and the meat in the tacos also didn't feel like it was seasoned. I had to use the guacamole sauce to make up for it. The meat was cooked well just lacked seasoning. If it had more season then they would've been better. read more

I visited this place for the first time on 1/1/25, I really wanted to love it. I can say I like it and would give it another try. I think they should switch up the music to Spanish music, after all it is a Mexican restaurant. They were playing slow English music that kind of ruined the vibe. When going to other Latin restaurants such as Sobre Mesa or Rico Rico Taco, the latin music playing gives it a better vibe where you never want to leave! Secondly, it took ridiculously long to get our drinks. Shouldn't those come before the appetizer & main course? We got them literally dead last. They were simple sangrias that were already premade so they just had to be poured over ice, nothing too time consuming. I would understand if the place was super busy but it wasn't, there were only 3 people sitting at the bar. The bartender was too busy chatting it up and laughing with a customer instead of keeping up with the drink orders. I get it, when you're a bartender you're supposed to be friendly and talk to your customers but you can multitask so the drinks aren't being held up. It seemed as if he was taking his break just yapping with a particular customer, leaning over the counter. We ordered our second round of drinks shortly after receiving our first round and after THIRTY minutes finally asked if they were still coming. They claimed our second order never went through although we had already received the food from that second order. Just the drinks were missing. Overall, the bartender could've done a better job. So this place was pretty good!! I knocked them 1 star because they just didn't have it all together as far as the staffing goes and they still had some things that needed work for example the soda machine needed a new O2 tank but no one in the establishment knew how to change it so they kept serving flat sodas! I'm like why don't you tell us the soda machine isn't working up front instead of serving flat sodas and then saying we know it's flat sorry no one knows how to change out the tank!? It's like umm just serve can soda! Food is okay. I wouldn't say it's amazing we may or may not come back but it's okay. The carne asada tasted more like toast to me. My husband and I saw that this place had opened recently and decided to stop by after seeing it on Yelp! I'm glad we did because the food was delicious. When you walk in you order your food at the front and then once you order and are given a number, you can go find a seat and order cocktails from the bar. We ordered chips and salsa, carnitas quesadilla and a surf and turf burrito for our food. Everything we had was really good from the chips and salsa to our main dishes with the salsas they brought with each of those too! I tried the spicy margarita, which was perfectly spicy. Todos is amazing! Taco Tuesday Happy Hour prices are unbelievable, and the food and drinks are delicious. The street tacos are delicious with the green and red salsa. The Oaxaca cheese is incredible too - it comes with pasilla chilies that are the perfect addition. This was our second time back and the staff is super friendly. Our server this time was Marvin who was more than accommodating with extra salsa and pickled jalapeños when we asked. The space is comfortable with lots of seating options both inside and outside. I ordered Uber eats from Todos a week ago and yesterday, and the food quality is night and day when comparing both. On Oct 30th 2024 the food was amazing, we ordered QUESADILLA SUIZA carne asada and QUESABIRRIA. Last night my gf and I wanted to order there again since it was so good but it felt like we were bamboozled. It's as if we did them wrong, we felt like we were robbed. Not sure if it was the cooks first day or was mad but this was terrinle. Not only was the chicken missing, but if you look at the pictures the QUESADILLA was folded up like a dang envelope not a quesadilla. The chesse, avocado, sour cream and onions were in one single spot so there was a lot of tortilla that was just plain that had no chesse, sour cream, onion or avocado. I've gotten better QUESADILLAs from Taco bell. I will say their food tasted really good on OCT 30th but i guess the quality of the food depends on the day or cook.
