Let me start baby saying that I did ALOT of research when choosing who I wanted to re-do my veneers... After all, your smile is everything, and being a professional photographer I know how important it can be to make a great first impression, so it was extremely important to me to find someone who not only could provide me with a beautiful new smile, but also who was not a "salesman" and who was honest and upfront, and most of all a genuinely good human being! Back in March I had a pretty severe accident while shooting in Alaska... where I slipped in the ice, and my face came crashing into my camera... busting out my front four teeth. They were veneers that I had done about 20 years ago, so ultimately, I knew it was time for me to get new ones, and after busting them out, I began looking for a cosmetic dentist the moment I arrived back home in CA. After meeting with several very high quality and experienced dentists, I have to say I was disappointed! I truly felt like I was being "sold"... which was the opposite of what I wanted! Top most amazing dentist for bonding /veneer. We were searching for someone to redo the bonding on my daughter's teeth since the first set was put on in 9th grade and now she was in college and you could tell it was time. Lots of dentist said it's fine and she just needs cleaning. I finally discussed it with a parent at my other child's school, who is a dentist (Dr Greg Clibon) and he told me this guy is the best. I am a little late on my reviewing but I met Dr. Snyder in Jan 2020. We talked over the plan and what I wanted for my teeth. I had a previously done crown years ago that still bothered me as it was a completely different size and shape. Dr. Snyder was SO helpful and honest regarding my care. I also met with his recommended periodontist and had a great experience there. By the middle of March I ended up getting a new crown and also five veneers to ensure that it all matched (all of them were in the front). Todd Snyder took advantage of me as a victim of battery and a previous bad dentist. While still traumatized, he took an ancient mold of my teeth and fixed my front teeth, left as spikes from a previous dentist, and replaced them with mediocre teeth formed by my ancient mold. I paid top dollar for something more, something better. Yet, I consider those teeth simply a rushed job because he couldn't handle an injured patient. For Dr. Snyder being a cosmetic surgeon and my $10,000 out-of-pocket, I expected him to watch out for me, care for me, and give me his best not some of his worst. He explained why we needed to do what we had to do verbally and with graphs and actual display models so it made sense at our level...He created by hand a detailed bite splint to fit my husbands mouth perfectly to readjust the way his jaw swings into position. Its amazing that being slightly off can create so much equilibrium. It has greatly helped his symptoms so that he can live a more normal life!!! Next there is me, We live in Orange so Laguna Niguel is a bit of a drive. Never going to Dr. Snyder before I throughout I would try someone more local. Boy do I regret that, I went in for a basic cleaning and exam and the hygienist basically diagnosed me and the actual dentist came in for 30 seconds barely looked in my mouth and said I needed 4 Crowns to replace some old cavities that had chipped!!! I thought to myself WHAT I am only 28 years old to Cap 4 of my teeth. So off for a second opinion I went to Dr. Snyder. He made me very comfortable and told me that 3 of the cavities could be replaced and 1 may possibly be a crown but didn't know until he got in there.... So I scheduled an appt to get them done. I showed up on time and had a friendly warm greeting and was seated within a few minutes. Very nice office with window views, amazing high tech equipment that I have never seen used at a dental office before. I was given glasses to block the bright lights and asked for my favorite music to play during the treatment. He took his time and made sure everything was to his high standard. Such an unprofessional, condescending, rude and stuck up jerk. Went for a consultation. He could not find the X-Rays that I had sent to his staff few days prior to my appointment. Didn't bother to take any X-Rays himself. I had to show him my own X-Rays that I had on my phone. Did not even bother to exam my teeth. Spent less than 5 minutes talking to me while I was sitting and waiting for him to exam my teeth and had to turn my neck 180 degree to see him while he was standing behind the chair and talking to me that way. Gave me a verbal dollar amount estimate and refused to give me a treatment plan, when I asked for it, he said he is not going to give me any because I'm not his patient!!! The receptionist was so friendly and answered many questions and offered to let us come in as soon as we could get there. What an amazing dentist! I first met Dr. Snyder about 6 months ago when I came in to have him look at re-bonding my front tooth. He was very thorough and professional during my examination. I usually do not write reviews, but Dr. Snyder deserves a good one. I won a teeth cleaning system at a silent auction at the Hotel Del. He had donated the system and his time for a great charity. I went to his office in Laguna Niguel and was treated great by his staff and by Dr. snider. They constructed the trays and gave me the system donating his time and money to do so. The system works great and I would recommend hime 100% to anyone looking for a dentist or for any aesthetic dentistry. read more
