After explaining that to their answering service several times, they finally called and said I would have to at least come in for a cleaning before they could release my records to me! That's when I checked reviews, switched my dentist with my insurance and made an appointment with a new dentist. I contacted them again to release my records and X-rays and they started giving me the run around again saying that person was not in and no one else there could do it. They said they'd call the next day but they didn't, I was about to go to the office to demand my records in-person but I called first and they finally emailed them. However, once it came time for the treatment plan and costs, admin quoted a treatment and code which they said wasn't covered by insurance. Upon further research and after consultation with my carrier, we found that the dental code cited was not for the quoted procedure but for something completely different. The prescribed treatment was indeed covered on several different counts and codes. I attempted to contact admin, three calls and a detailed email. Today has been over a week with no response. Excellent, I think, dentist and practice. And I'm not talking about a large dollar amount. But once trust is broken due to either error or the drive for increased revenue, it's difficult to impossible to regain that trust. There seems to be a plague of inaccuracy and a misplaced priority on fees vs patient in dental back offices. ADA should tighten this up if patients are diverted from treatment and succumb to a health hazard. Did they think I would pay anything they asked because I was in such pain? Dentists should be responsible for the operation of their offices and not simply offer the disclaimer "I have nothing to do with insurance". The reason I had to turn up here was a good lunch by the harbour in San Diego a few days earlier- we were just across from the impressive WW2 battleship Midway when tooth problem arose. What I needed done was done and done well, promptly and I am grateful to all the staff for their politeness toward me, as well as their kindness and skill. We maybe don't realise it as often as we should - it takes a lot of hard work and a lot of turnover to keep a small business going - staff and overhead especially so our part of the deal is to say thank you and pay up - a smile wouldn't hurt either. So once again to the team thank you from a grateful Irishman. It sorta started a long time ago I suppose when I was a kid boxing and karate but to look at me now ya wouldn't think I was ever that young or that agile (note I've never claimed good looking) and the lady dentist here agreed that I can rule out a career in Hollywood so the nearest I got was the sign on the hill the other day and I got near enough. The crown came off while I was flossing, and just needed to be cemented back. I put the crown back in place. Wore my night guard over and went to see him. My regular dentist couldn't see me today, so I came to this office. My teeth were flushed before he worked on me. Nothing was sticking out. When I took my night guard out, he had to ask which tooth it was that came off. He saw how the tooth looked before he did any work. Prior to his work, my teeth had perfect alignment. The office environment was strange--Dr. Glover had no assistant present. He rushed to cement my front side crown without even checking if I was happy with the alignment. I specifically mentioned to him that the fit felt "tight," and he even struggled to get floss through the contact points, which should have been a red flag to stop. Instead of ensuring the crown was seated correctly, he walked away for 10 minutes while the cement cured. By the time he returned, the crown was permanently bonded in a crooked position. I couldn't even talk without other teeth hitting this crooked tooth, forget trying to eat. At first, he said nothing was wrong with the crown, but once the mistake was undeniable, he changed the story and said the "crown needed to be replaced anyway". Because of his negligence and failure to monitor the curing process, I have wasted hours of time and now face a massive bill for a new crown. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for competent or attentive restorative work. He was decent enough to not charge me for the bad service.

My husband and I appreciate their level of service. When I had a little bump in my gums they were able to refer me to another professional who took care of it immediately. I would rather nip something in the bud rather than leave it to chance so I appreciate they addressed it and Dr. Vivienne gave me genuine advice and then I had it taken care of for peace of mind. My only initial concern was not being able to see them because their office hours coincided with my work hours but they do offer super early mornings as well which helps to squeeze us in. Thank you for helping accommodate us, work-life balance is important for everyone not just us patients so I am understanding and so grateful they are so quick to call whenever new spots open up so I don't get behind in my cleanings.
