I chose to give a 5 star for many reasons. When I was ready to explore gel implants I did an internet search, his website attracted me because of the before and after pictures as well as the financing option. I was able to get a consultation appointment quickly, and in the meantime I asked around for opinions and experiences in the Amherst area and heard he is one of the best. The consultation was a 3D imaging which showed my after options by taking pictures of my before and using a program. I was also able to look through a binder of dozens of patients similar to my build and their results, try on various implant types and discuss any questions. Dr. Koch is very honest, there were limitations based on my current chest size, measurements, body type etc that he made me aware of but assured me I could still get the size and look I was wanting. I was excited to get the surgery date booked and go forward with it. The method Dr. Koch uses to insert the implants is very meticulous and nearly hands free. Because of this the healing and recovery for me was a breeze. I did not need prescription pain medicine past day 3. There was minimal swelling, bruising and I could drive, lift and wear sports bras within days. I am very happy to have gone ahead with the surgery with Dr. Koch. His staff is very friendly and helpful, always answers the phones and any questions, my appointment times did not run late etc. read more

My OB/GYN referred me to Dr. Koch when I began my research into breast augmentation. She stated that she had several patients who had the same procedure and loved him, and were extremely happy with their results. I did consult with another reputable local practice, however, I felt much more comfortable with Dr. Koch. Let me say that the reviews on here are extremely surprising, as this was not my experience with Dr. Koch AT ALL. I did not find him to be arrogant, and he spent a long time with me during my consultation to thoroughly explain the procedure and answered all of my questions and then some! My husband went with me (who can be a critic, especially when it comes to his wife!), and he was impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. We both felt very comfortable moving forward with Dr. Koch, because he put us at ease. Dr. Koch put me at ease and was extremely comforting on the day of surgery. During recovery he was attentive to my needs and answered all questions. A year after my procedure, I can honestly say I have never been happier with my body! I am in love with my results! Dr. Koch was very thorough and I felt like he wanted and needed everything to be perfect. He answered all of my questions to the point. I felt like I was in good hands right from the beginning. I felt like he was confident and knew what he was doing. I trusted him. He suggested a certain size when using the 3D Vectra machine (so cool!) but I wanted smaller. They look very natural and better than I had envisioned. I was an A to start now a full B. Glad I didn't go bigger. I had concerns after my surgery like swelling, "too big", air pockets. He assured me I was doing just fine and it turned out everything healed up perfectly! (I followed his instructions carefully) He also called me the day after surgery which was a nice touch. Just about 8 weeks post-op now and I'm so very happy with my decision. Woohoo! Side note- I did experience an overwhelming, unquenchable thirst post-op for about 2-3 weeks. I thought it was strange but turns out it's a side effect of surgery. Dr. Koch restored my pre-baby breasts to a beautifully lifted and augmented pair. He answered every possible question and has an incredible bedside manner. He and his staff are friendly and easy to talk to. I had my surgery 2/15/18 and I was ready to go back to work within 5 days. His follow up care is outstanding as well. I just returned from my 4 month post-op appointment and everything is perfect! I'm beyond happy with Dr. Koch's care from consultation, through surgery and the aftercare, all included in the initial price. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a surgeon who consistently produces great results, and I wouldn't hesitate to return to him for additional procedures in the future, should I want them. Even with a busy schedule working in the medical field.. Dr. Koch was able to get me in not only quick but early before work. He really does take his time with his consult so you don't leave the office with any questions. They were able to squeeze me in 2 weeks after my consult (I wanted to just get it done and over with). While in the OR he came in and calmed my mind, and talked to me and my mom before going in. After getting home from my surgery he called me from his own personal cell phone checking up on me and reminding me what to do after surgery. A good doctor follows up with his patients!! I didn't bruise, I had minor swelling. I was good to go back to work after only 2 days! Today is my one month mark and I already have TWO girlfriends of mine that made a consult with him!! Dr. Koch is absolutely amazing. He made each visit comfortable and his staff is very friendly and welcoming. During my consultation all of my questions were answered honestly. I had originally went in wanting a chin implant as well as liposuction on my chin/neck area and contemplating a rhinoplasty. He was not going to do work that was unnecessary and steered me toward my best option which was simply just lipo of the chin/neck. The day of surgery was a breeze, he was very comforting and went over the procedure making sure I was understanding of everything. I am surprised that people have left low reviews because they dont find his personality appealing. He does phenomenal work so unless you are searching for a friend or therapist his personality should not matter. He has great prices, never cancels appointments etc and I always have felt that he is very sweet and compassionate. He doesnt candy coat things but I appreciate that!
