I put my kid in this playschool. He went to the playschool only for four days and the director asked us to drop him form the playschool just because he was crying. The Director Seema told us that since he is crying a lot, the teacher is unable to concentrate on other kids and wanted us to drop him. The director told us the my kid is not mentally prepared or matured and he is crying a lot and doesn't understand what we were talking and also said he was very anxious. However, my kid went there only for twice a week and he went there just for four days. He was dropped from the playschool in just four days and they didn't even wanted us to try my kid out for a month at least. We in fact requested them to increase from twice a week to four days week or at least thrice a week so that he has some continuity. They declined this too. Shouldn't they have given enough time for my kid to settle down? But they didn't given enough time for my kid to settle down and insisted on dropping my kid from the playschool just because he was crying. They should have in fact tried to instill some confidence to parents but they didn't. When they dropped my kid, I requested them to refund the registration fees at least. Why would someone want to pay the registration fees when they drop a kid in playschool in just four days. They said the registration fees can't be refunded as well. They are totally unprofessional and I felt very stressed out as a parent leaving my kid in this playschool. The main problem is that the school is understaffed and there is only one teacher for 10 students. read more

We love Today's Learning Center. Our 2 children have been attending since we moved to Cherry Hill in December 2015. They are nurturing, attentive and caring. I am amazed at how much my kids have learned, since they started attending. Today's Learning Center provides a fun environment that is also educational. My kids love their teachers and Sima and Jessica (The Director and Assistant Director) have been wonderful resources. They are always there and open to discussing any questions I have. My son starts Kindergarten in September and I am going to really miss getting to do drop-offs and pick-ups where I get to know all of the kids, parents, and teachers. I read the other reviews and feel badly that they had negative experiences because I truly feel TLC is a great place to send your kids. read more

Two years later, we are moving to Oregon. Lena loves going to "school" (TLC) to this day. She didn't want to leave her friends and we didn't want her to leave them either. After growing from a baby into a toddler, I knew I had to review TLC in new eyes and see if it was the place for my daughter. Just because it was a good place for her as a baby doesn't mean it was the place I wanted her to be as she grew through her toddler years... From the time she was 2-2 1/2 years old, she was coming home teaching me Spanish words and doing rolls and such she learned in Kick n' Flips, an add-on class offered by TLC. She is well versed with her numbers and even though she has yet to graduate to a pre-school class- she will this year- at TLC, they began teaching her those subjects early. She is learning how to swim as well thanks to TLC's pool open during the warm months. She rode a pony, petted farm animals, exercised in baby yoga classes (included in the tuition), created all sorts of textured and spatial art. She was exposed to different types of music, and danced her little heart out. I know she danced as well as other activities because they continue to post pictures of her and the other children attending TLC on Facebook. I love being able to go on to Facebook during the day and be surprised with a picture of her doing something or just smiling at the camera from that same day. I am searching here in Oregon for a place that will be as good for her as a child growing into her school-age years as TLC was. I haven't found a place that had such a small child-to-teacher ratio. And it was very helpful to be able to drop her off as early as 6:30 in the morning because as a nurse I often have to be at work at odd hours of the day. Then there is the small factor that wouldn't seem so important, the way TLC adds and rotates toys and structures with which the children play. The staff continues to be competent, patient, and intelligent. I have visited several places here and I have yet to find a home-away-from-home like Lena had since she was 6 months old. read more

HORRIBLE!!! The Daycare switched owners and everything went down hill! 1) Daycare workers are too busy in their gossip circle 2) Kids bully Babies and they do not get in trouble 3) Owner is money hungry and trying to add extra charges 4) Kids are unsupervised DO NOT COME HERE!! read more

I have two toddlers who attend the school and started in their infant room. We've been going now for almost 3 years and love it! All the staff are very attentive to the children and it's obvious that they care about them. They are consistently doing creative ideas and activities with the kids i.e. Mr Softee ice cream truck over the summer delivering treats or Trunk or treat for Halloween. They also have guest speakers come talk to the kids like police officers and dentists to teach teeth brushing. Other programs are available for additional fees including dance and soccer classes. As far as the owners not being professional, we have not experienced that. Sima and Jessica have worked with us so that our kids can continue to attend. We do not work 9-5 jobs, and they are always willing to accommodate schedule changes at the last minute. They are also flexible on payment plans. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a daycare they can trust. read more

The staff at TLC always greets you with a smile and always welcomes the children warmly. Whenever you are having an off day and have forgotten the diapers, or the sleep mat, they always patiently and understandingly tell you not to worry and that they will take care of it. Each staff member has their own personality which is needed as the kids get older and progress to different stages of learning. As my kids were in the infant/toddler 1 phases I wanted the warm and playful "mom like" person all day for them. I needed to know that the diaper was going to be checked just as much as I would do it. My daughter has severe eczema and that her skin would have enough lotion on it at all times. I wanted teachers in those rooms that cuddled all day and made me feel like going back to work after baby was "okay". I knew they were with not only teachers but "mommys". Once my son moved into the Toddler 2 room I started to realize I needed a slightly different teacher. I still needed the hug and kiss on the boo boo when he fell down, but now I needed more structure and rule following. As he progressed up the rooms I have been happy with the increase of structure/rules and still holding on to the warmth. My daughter was going through some separation from mommy since this was her first school experience and the staff was so kind and really helped her work through this. Fabulous experience! This place is one of the best in the area, and what a blessing it was that we found them! I'm super picky when it comes to our daughter's care. I looked at MANY other places before choosing Today's Learning Center, which also was very reasonably priced. It turned out to be a major contribution to her success in First Grade, and here's how it went. . . She started in September 2013 as a timid, shy 3 1/2 year old, crying as I left since she'd never had other caregivers besides family. The attention and compassion she received those early days gave me peace of mind and assurance that this was quality Child Care. With the staff's help, she quickly adjusted to Day Care at first, then moved up to Pre-School shortly thereafter. She started Pre-K in September 2014 staying for the summer in between. By the way, Today's Learning Center has a wonderful summer program, including their own swimming pool, along with age appropriate field trips and themes which the children totally love. There's a good balance of fun AND learning, along with a beautiful newer outside play area, so the kids are never bored. Finally in September 2015, we decided to keep her there for Kindergarten, since our Cherry Hill districts only offer Half Day Kinder. What a fantastic decision that turned out to be! Yes, yes, we have great public schools in our township, but as a working Mom, we were going to have to pay for part of her care anyway. So we forked out the money and she went through TLC's Kindergarten program, not realizing how "advanced" she was when she finished. I'd say our daughter was "average", she's not a slow learner, but she's not one of those genius prodigies either. However . . . .when she started First Grade at our local school in September 2016, WHOA! She was 1,000% more prepared than many of her peers! Our shy little girl had a confidence we'd not seen before as she had a real grasp of reading and writing as well as math. She had true SKILLS and quickly reminded us that "mistakes are good because it's how we learn!" Seriously?? You can't put a price on a comment like that! We're thrilled at the positive attitude she still has towards learning. Kudos to her former Kindergarten teacher Ms. Christine, as well as the staff, directors and also the actual program she completed at TLC! Now, looking back, my husband and I both agree, everything our daughter learned those three years was worth more than TEN times the tuition we paid! Yes, ten times, at least. She's a well-adjusted child who's been taught life-long skills which now lay the foundation for her future progress in life! Today's Learning Center has been a wonderful experience, for us as parents as well as for our daughter as a student. Ms. Sima and Ms. Jessica are wonderful directors and their love for what they do really shows. I'm a picky Mom who wants the best for my daughter. I say with full confidence, without a single doubt, that the care and education she received here for years is simply NOT so easily found. If I could star nothing, they wouldn't get 1 star. I came in today inquiring about the center and the director Sarah Patel had a very bad attitude. I asked how was I able to walk in and into the establishment where the children where and she said a teacher let me in, which was not true. She then stated maybe I shouldn't be inquiring about ge school. She also stated she didn't think my child should be attending there. She was extremely rude and also avoided giving me he owners name and number to contact. I have never experienced such rude interaction before at a childcare center. read more

Had a really bad experience with this daycare. We paid the deposit because we were told space was limited (not true). We thought it would be a good place for our kids because we live nearby. Once they got our deposit, they stopped all communications. They never even sent us an application. I wrote several times and have received no response. We decided to enroll our children elsewhere. I do not know how I could trust them with our children if they cannot even be bothered to follow up with people who have paid their deposit. read more
