I Doordashed from this place for the first time a few days ago and I honestly, with how well priced everything is(especially for doordash) I didn't have super high hopes. But let me tell you, expectations were met. I ordered the quesabirria tacos and beef nachos. Both things arrived incredibly fresh and well packaged. The portions were just right and the flavors were well done. I know that it may seem like a trivial thing, but my sour cream and guac were still cold on my nachos when it arrived lol. I've been coming here every Tuesday for 3 years. Carnitas tacos for $1.50 on Tuesday. So delicious. The only thing I've had here that I found to be average was chips and salsa (which are not free btw). So skip the unlimited calories of free chips and just get the tacos. After the carnitas tacos which are my favorite, I recommend the grilled veggies taco. Also they won the 2023 taco cook-off In Laporte Indiana. So there's that. read more

I would give this place 4 stars based on the several times I have eaten. It is standard Mexican dishes fairly authentic. This place has good quality steak for its steak tacos. Not gristly or improperly cut up. Its grilled chicken tacos are also good, but not really grilled, they are sautéd on a flat iron grill, so they lack the taste I was looking for. However, good quality white meat as opposed to random chicken. The ground beef tacos are nicely seasoned. The pico de gallo is fresh and refreshing (but the last order we got was WAY over salted, likely a new chef being trained---- they need to taste this stuff before it goes out) the refried beans and rice are standard stuff for most restaurants (again this last experience was over salted- the owner should taste test each batch). They offer flour and corn tortillas but I think they are pre made as are the chips.... I wish more places understood how they would stand out with homemade tortillas and home made chips. read more

Tends to be really greasy and is soaked with grease depending on who's cooking that day. Overall, it is a good place to eat and get tacos and quesadillas. How this place has 4 stars is beyond me. The only good thing I can say that is positive is the salsa was good. Beans are bland, rice was dry, chips where bland, and the burrito was terrible. I ordered an Al Pastor burrito. It was under seasoned, or you might say not seasoned at all. There was almost no flavor in the meat or the burrito itself, the meat was mush, and the only flavor was overcooked liquified pineapple as if it sat in a slow cooker all day and was microwaved. I actually threw it away after a few bites because the blandness combined with the mushy texture was so unappealing. I would rather go to Taco Bell. Al Pastor is typically slow cooked, you can do it in a slow cooker, however you are not supposed to cook it into mush and it should be broiled to add a nice crispness. Man these are goods tacos. I've got the beef in flour tortilla and my girlfriend tried the steak in flour. They are both great tasting. I like the beef better. I literally went to this place 2days in a row and twice in one day, it's so good. I like Mexican style better than American but both are great. I believe this place has only been open for about a month now. It's in a pretty good location and really close to home for us. It was really clean and the walls were painted bright green, which made it seem bright. I decided to try to taco salad with grilled chicken, side of queso cheese, Mexican corn and a bottle of water. They fry their taco shells, which makes for a super crunchy shell, but it isn't the healthiest. The chicken had a lot of flavor. The best part about their taco salad was the portions of everything. Many places like to just load on the lettuce and barely give you any cheese. These guys had the proportions of cheese, lettuce, refried beans, chicken & sour cream. I love Mexican corn and this place did not disappoint. At first I was wondering why they only filled the bowl half way, but then I realized that you needed room to mix the mayo, butter, parmesan cheese and chili powder into the corn. If the bowl were filled to the top there would end up being corn on the table. No one wants that! My husband ordered the enchiladas and was confused by another review taking about how they weren't authentic Mexican style. He loves Mexican food and enjoyed these tremendously.
