This place is so good! Reasonably priced and delicious. I think it's my 9 year olds favourite place to eat in north port!

The iced coffee was very good but also expensive for what you get. Hank's was below average. The root beer flavor was almost nonexistent. Maybe the regular root beer would be better. We ordered the French dip with tots and the Feathered Philly with fries. We really liked the tots and French fries and would give them a 5 out of 5 stars. The beef on the French dip lacked flavor as did the au jus. The beef reminded us of sliced deli roast beef not something the was marinated in spices for a period of time. Would give the French dip 2.5-3 stars. The chicken and onions on the Feathered Philly were better. They were seasoned and hot off the grill. Would give them 3.5 stars. The hoagie buns were good but nothing to write home about. The ambiance is great! Love how the decorated the most place. They have a great outdoor area to have your meal and a great concert area. I bet this place is really a great time for live music. It's connected to / next to the Harley dealer so I'm sure the have a high number of bikes on weekends and for the concerts. Parking for cars is limited by the restaurant but the have a parking lot across the street. Plenty of bike parking.

We had…read morebreakfast here a few years ago and enjoyed it; wanted to go back but we don't eat breakfast often. Prices were higher this time, understandably. They are still better priced on a basic breakfast than other places nearby. I wanted to try their eggs Benedict even though I've only ever had it maybe 2-3 times in my life! I'm not a good person to judge since I'm not really sure what hollandaise should taste like! It was more tangy tart than I expected. The eggs were cooked the way they should be and the ham was thick. In my memory, it should've had a stronger ham flavor, as I think Canadian bacon is the traditional meat and I was hoping for that. But even eating a piece of the thick ham by itself, I couldn't taste a salty smoked ham flavor. While I found that disappointing, I couldn't take a star away because visually it looked great, and I imagine a lot of people would love to see that thick slice of ham even if it is too mild! Don't judge it by my photo because I broke my yolks and stirred them up before I remembered to take a photo. The grits (my choice of side) were just like I like them. My husband got a 2 eggs breakfast with home fries (?) sausage and toast. It was a full plate of food and he enjoyed it. They have home made strawberry jam (yum!) and I will for sure get breakfast with toast or biscuits next time just so I can have some of that jam. I did put a little bit of jam on a couple bites of my English muffin from under my Benedict. The coffee mug was tall so my husband appreciated that; and the friendly & attentive server, Melissa, filled it before empty, as needed. We will be back "sooner than later" hopefully, because there's more I want to try on their menu. I do recommend going here for breakfast especially if you are an early bird or find yourself out and about very early for some reason like we were, and need a breakfast. I think they might get crowded quickly, so early is better. Note that their hours were not accurate on the iPhone maps app - I submitted correct hours and it's pending approval. However I used the website hours and one of their days I think it was Sunday - was showing closed at 1 but it's actually 1:30.

Stopped in for dinner with a friend on a weeknight. Service with Jessica was excellent. They have…read morean extensive menu. There is a couples menu where you can share an appetizer and dessert and choose two different entrées for $55. However, that shared menu is a little bit limited for what we wanted. We decided to order the jazzy mussels as an appetizer and two pieces of their rendition of bang bang shrimp. The shrimp is per piece and they are fairly large; We decided to just have one each and it was probably the best thing on the menu. I could eat ten of those. It was very lightly breaded and the sauce was what you would expect; like a sweet and sour Asian sauce. The mussels, I was skeptical of, because I wasn't certain I would like the broth. However, they were actually really good. I don't typically prefer a southern style sauce, but it was done very well. It had pieces of Andouille sausage and lots of corn. Although it was tasty, the mussels were overcooked as you could see they were so shrunken in their shells and super salty. For dinner, I ordered the beef Wellington and it came out cut in half, face up, with gravy all over it. That's not my preferred presentation as I don't think the gravy was necessary. The steak was a nice piece and cooked to my liking. The puff pastry was crisp and there was plenty of mushroom paste inside. The gravy really turned me off though. I added salt and wished for no gravy. The green beans, which was my side vegetable, would be commonly overlooked at many restaurants. But I found that the green beans were crisp and delicious and well seasoned. The baked potato was standard fare; it was baked with a side of butter and sour cream, and it was really good. I love a good baked potato. It was not one of those huge baked potatoes that you find at some steakhouses where you can only eat half and take the rest home. It was a regular sized baked potato. We had a couple cocktails, the special whiskey sour, the Diana Krall, the Caribbean espresso, martini and some sort of lavender vodka Collins style cocktail, I can't remember the name. All of the cocktails were really good. The wine list looked like decent prices and some well-known bottles were very well priced. We opted against dessert as we were super full. Ambience was spot on with the jazz band playing in the background; we were still able to converse and did not have to yell. The restaurant was quite full as the night went on. This is a well liked place. Parking was easy, there's a lot out front with plenty of spaces. Bathrooms were simple yet clean. As I mentioned, we were well taken care of by our server. The cocktails were great. The food was good. I would recommend this place for the ambiance/music/cocktails and the shrimp appetizer. I'm sure there is something better on the menu that I could try next time- like a fish dish. My friend had the filet mignon with mashed potatoes and was satisfied. 3.5/5 stars overall.

I did love having walleye though - its not every day you run across that on menus down here in Florida. It was grilled really nice and the side of zucchini and yellow squash was nice too. The cilantro rice was meh; I think something more unique would have gone a long way with this dish. My friend and I sat outside and I loved the outdoor area and being by the water. Our table felt 'cozy' with the little tiki hut roof over it, and our server was on top of things. We hung out for a long time and we were not rushed out or anything. I'd probably come back and try something else on the menu, and it would be a good spot to bring visitors because of its good FL vibes.

I came in to redeem my birthday wings and also placed an order for cheese curds. The manager was very kind and made sure I received my birthday wings without any issues. However, my experience with an employee named Chase completely changed my opinion of this location. When I went to pay, I noticed I had not been charged for the cheese curds. I wasn't sure whether the employee who took my order had forgotten to ring them up or if there had been some other mistake. Trying to do the right thing, I politely approached Chase and asked if he could quickly check my order. His response was simply, "I can't help you right now." I was surprised and asked, "Excuse me, did you just say you can't help me?" He replied, "Yes, I can't help you." There was no apology, no explanation, and no effort to assist me or direct me to someone who could. His attitude was dismissive, rude, and completely unprofessional. I told him that his customer service was terrible, and instead of trying to improve the situation, he appeared completely indifferent. It was almost as if he was proud of treating a customer that way. I then asked for his name because I intended to speak with a manager. He told me his name was Chase and seemed completely unconcerned that I wanted to report the interaction. I later spoke with the manager, who listened to my concerns and assured me he would address the issue. Again, I want to recognize the manager because he handled the situation professionally. What bothered me the most was that while I was being treated dismissively, I observed Chase interacting with other customers in a completely different manner. He was smiling, friendly, attentive, and polite. The difference in treatment was impossible not to notice. As a Hispanic woman, it left me feeling uncomfortable and wondering whether I was being treated differently because of my ethnicity. Since the customers he helped were all Caucasians. I cannot know what was in his mind, but the contrast was significant enough that it left me with that impression. Customer service should be consistent for everyone. No customer should be made to feel dismissed when they are simply asking for assistance, especially when they are trying to correct an issue with an order. The manager is the reason this review is 2 stars instead of 1. Without his professionalism and willingness to help, this would have been a much lower rating.
