For 11 o'clock on a Monday not in snowbird season, the hostess was not with the mostess. She seems like she had a chip on her shoulder or didn't even know how to smile from the moment we enter to the moment we left. We weren't there for longer than an hour and she was already trying to rush us out of our table at one point, even though there was absolutely no one waiting to be seated and many other tables waiting to be cleaned. Our server was attentive but I think she might have gone home halfway through our meal because she disappeared. We had to flag down Grumperstein to get a to go container for my food, which is really why we were there longer than an hour in the first place. Our server disappeared and no one else bothered to come over once we got our check. The food was decent and average priced. It was fresh when we got it, so good part on the server. Extensive menu with healthy food options, which is good for me. The ambiance probably would have been better if they actually had friendly people that had smiles on their face. Or clean tables. I'm not sure what the deal was, but the only time anybody had to wait for a table was because they had to wait for someone tobclean one of the many dirty ones off that no one had bothered to clean instead of standing around. Up until today, I've only ever had takeout from here and did not feel the food was worth what you pay for. Now I definitely stand behind that statement. I know there aren't many breakfast locations (besides Panera, which is right next door). In all honesty, I'd rather go to Mcdonald's if this is the kind of service you get for the price you pay for the food here. And I don't eat Mcdonald's. read more

This is our go to breakfast place when we visit our granddaughter. Our hotel serves free breakfast but we go here at least once during our visit. There food is fresh, different and awesome at the same time. We started with blueberry lemon cornbread. My granddaughter ordered te drink pineapple express. It was a mixture of juices. The special drinks are always good. Lemon ricotta pancakes, floridian French toast and avocado toast are some of my favorites. Service is always good and they get you on and out quickly as there is always a wait to get their delicious food. My only complaint they are not in NY. read more

My side was a small Arugula Salad with a Lemony Basil Dressing The Lemony sauce was infused over the Benedict Sauce too! This first watch location makes you instantly feel like you're on vacation. I'm a huge fan of the chain and all of their restaurants and you truthfully can't ever order a bar meal here. Forever obsessed with their Tri Fecta (they always let me fully customize it as a vegetarian that doesn't eat eggs) and their incredible waffles **with chocolate chips on top of course**. Coming here always feels like a treat and a time to catch up and indulge in an amazing meal while you sip on their freshly poured coffee. At this location, you can actually order mimosas (we may or may not have). The best part about this specific one is the amazing location. After you've been placed in a food comma, you can walk yourself to the stores nearby like the TJ Maxx or Ross - nothing will probably fit and you'll totally regret finishing off that last bite but it'll totally be worth it. The First Watch in North Port was better than most locations I've tried. It was packed, but we were able to get a seat on the patio right away. I ordered the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and a side of fried potatoes. I also ordered a cocktail but cannot find it on their online menu to provide the drink name. But I remember it was made with tequila and agave and was refreshing. The toast was good with a ton of avocado! The scrambled eggs were hot and fresh. But I really enjoyed the potatoes with onions and I added ketchup. It was a good breakfast that kept me full until mid afternoon. Our server was friendly and attentive. It was a nice atmosphere with lots of people, and our waitress was nice/patient. We got the trifecta and farmhouse hash, they were both at our table in under 15 minutes. My trifecta came with bacon and sausage (wasn't much loll), a waffle, and 2 poached eggs, it tasted great! Onto the farmhouse hash; seasoned well, everything was cooked perfectly for both! Upon entering the restaurant was very busy which to me is a very good sign but it can be a little overwhelming since the seating is really close together and jam packed however we were seated outside on a nice Florida day where it was a bit more relaxing and much less stimulating. This was brunch hour so we decided to do the lunch menu over their breakfast and ordered the market veggie with side salad. There was a bit of a wait but totally expected and reasonable considering how busy it was. The food arrived and first glance the presentation was great. Looked light, fresh and inviting. Since I was no stranger to this particular sandwich I knew what to expect. It was very good however not filling at all. I realized I forgot to add a protein like turkey or chicken to it which is what I usually do. The salad was a bit dry and had little flavor. Next time I'll likely get a side soup instead. The pesto spread was perfect and veggies cooked to perfection. No complaints regarding freshness. Likely will order again but adding some sort of turkey or chicken breast to it so there's a bit more substance. We had a pleasant overall experience and will return. My one complaint is the pricing for what you are getting. I feel they overcharge a bit as the food doesn't match the price of what you are getting but if that isn't an issue for you than by all means check it out. read more

We dined on 5/2/2026. We drove from the middle of the state (an area without a First Watch) and purposefully drove out of our way to eat at FW after a swim meet. The place was packed - great sign!! The hostess was borderline rude on how quick and short she was getting our number to call us. Busy so I get it. But first impressions? C'mon. We had a table near the back with a glorious view of the kitchen. That's something you can work on. Took about five minutes to get our drink order - it's busy I get it. We ordered our brunch and sat and talked. My order came out wrong and my potatoes were very oily. Toast was overtoasted. My child loved the waffles - that's what saved the visit. Waitress didn't come back to check on us until she brought the check. I asked for to-go drink and watched her get the drink then walk around the kitchen with it before bringing it to me - again it was busy I get it. Just not the best visit. Went to First Watch this morning because we have enjoyed breakfast at the Orlando and Boynton Beach locations. Good Choice! I got the Barbacoa Quesadilla Benedict. Everything about it was a tasty blend. I was surprised that it was a tad spicy. My wife got the oatmeal with fresh fruit and was delighted. Our daughter got the Socal burrito. She was only able to eat half since it was so large. Our son in law got the same as me... probably trying to make points with dad : ). I just want to start off by saying that the avocado toast and the superfood bowl are amazing. I would go back everyday if I could for the superfood bowl in particular though. The flavor is unmatched. The service was good. Both times we went it was super busy and the servers did their best to take care of us. It was so busy the first time we went that they forgot our side of potatoes.
