Excellent in stock selection of products and there is plenty to choose from. I LOVE that this is a locally owned shop and their pricing is very competitive with online stores. I would be willing to pay more to support local but Adrenalin makes it so I don't have to. Their aftercare and service is great, too. Recently we were struggling with some LiPo batteries that were too far drained and they assisted us in boosting the charge enough to save the batteries. I appreciated that as it saved me quite a few dollars for full replacements. I believe these folks support some local RC clubs as well and I would love to learn more about that and see what else I can get in to.

I would too if my shop had been broken into four or five times in the last year or two. He's knowledgeable and comes across as a straight shooter. The young lady that works the counter (I'm horrible with names) is the definition of excellent customer service. She's knowledgeable, patient and passionate about all things vape. I walked in to one customer and one employee, the employee off the bat looked visibly annoyed by my presence but given the fact he was sorting through things, and I'm also sure that he has a lot of people like this come in without much knowledge about cards in general, knowing this I tried giving him the benefit of the doubt, but then I gave him my cards to look through and I didn't expect much at all and if not I would've just given him the cards and left but he just had his attitude and annoyance that overtook it seemed, he told me he would just give these cards to kids. I tried stacking them all nicely to not make is such a hassle for them to look thru before leaving my home and all I could find was this Velcro wrapping on the floor before leaving in a rush, he later made an observation about it jokingly saying "it was interesting". It was actually a bit funny but I'm not really sure why he'd say that. At the end of it he just tossed my stuff on the counter didn't say anything to me, and talked to the other customer as the customer was asking a question but no thank you or have a nice day. Just overall a very awkward and bad first impression

They have a little bit of everything here, but they especially stock a lot of puzzles, games, Beanie Babies, quality animal figurines from companies like Schleich, along with a healthy selection of marbles. They don't carry many dolls or action figures, and are thin on plush toys. I was hoping to find some Uglydolls, and carrying some vinyl collectible toys would be nice for us older kids. Service is friendly and helpful. The store could be more kid-friendly, with more kid-centric decor, maybe a fun mural, kid colors..more character. I can tell the owners are a bit anal-retentive here, with a dozen plus signs around the animal figurines that say not to play with the toys. How about just letting kids be kids? Or make a designated Kid Zone with a bunch of sample toys to play with. It feels a bit like a library, like I should whisper, probably due mostly to lack of customers and no background noise. While it's nice having a locally owned toy store, Red Balloon is geared toward an adult clientele. They really need someone to come in and help them redesign the place with kids in mind. FAO Schwarz it is not.
