I saw the other reviews and was a little wary, but I got through to customer service right away (this was around 9:30 on a weekday) and she dispatched a car promptly, and dispatcher was very polite and efficient. I got a text with a tracker so that I could see when my car arrived. When the car arrived, I was impressed with the safety measures. The backseat was clean. There was a plexiglass barrier between the driver and the back, but my driver still wore a mask. My driver, Rick, was very pleasant. I usually make small talk with drivers but tend to feel awkward in doing so, but our conversation was actually very enjoyable. He drove safely and took the normal route. The fare wasn't much more than it would've been with other rideshare services. My expectations were exceeded, and I was especially grateful because this Suburban Taxi came through in a pinch when other services were unavailable, and they made me feel very safe in a time when taking a taxi can be nerve-wracking. I can't speak for others' experience, but mine was positive.

Even if you work a holiday but not put in 40 hours for whatever reason you don't get the holiday. If you are send on 2 or more long jobs they can't pay you for both of the jobs in the same week. Now a big company like this should be able to absorb a couple hundred dollars for a week. They claim insurance will not pay for two long runs back to back. Don't send these drivers on the long runs if they can't completely be paid for the work done. The dispatchers are twats to the driver and expect them to basically live in there vehicle. Piss poor company with piss poor management. If I could post negative stars I would.

I called about 20 transportation companies that were closed before I came across U-Connect. Not only did they wait 40 minutes because Crouse didn't have Dad ready, they borrowed a wheelchair from Crouse, got Dad back to Assisted Living, and called me to let me know he was all set and in his room. Dad would have had to sleep on a gurney in the hall of a hospital if not for U-Connect. The owner and driver were so friendly and helpful. They finally sent me someone and said she has to be there three hours. Well after 25 minutes, she said to me I'm all done and started to leave. I had to ask her to please dust please clean my bathroom, etc. she left about seven minutes later, she never touched the tub, sink or toilet. She did my floors but not well. I talked to home instead about it and Shawna told me that she was sorry and would have somebody else for me today that was one of the best, she said she would not send the same person back, but what do you know, the same person came back with an attitude-she was not there for five minutes and said she was leaving and walked Out. When I called home instead, Debbie told me I was rude and Shawna told me that the cleaning person was giving a different story and she was Kurt with me. Well, do you think they're gonna tell the truth? I've been yelled at called names and was promised a call back two hours ago that I never got from someone else. These are senior citizens, many with disabilities. The name of the businesses is home instead, because they say they offer home care so people can stay home. This is exactly what I was looking for. Fraud!
