It stinks they are no longer in Oneida county. They were the only reliable transportation left

Never ever use Empire DM. They are rude, unprofessional and will treat your loved one like a package. They transported my mother home from Upstate Medical yesterday and then refused to bring her into home because if 4 steps. They had asked about steps up front and I had told them. They left the doors on vehicle open in freezing cold while they stood in road swearing. Thank goodness Hospice arrived and called for a lift assist. Bless Oneida Fire Dept for their assistance in such a kind caring way. read more

Don't use this transportation service! I had an appointment at the hospital and got finished @ about 4:30p.m. I called for my return ride I tried calling them the phone would ring then someone would pick up the receiver then hang-up...I called my insurance company and they got the same treatment. I after being up on hold with my insurance company until after 6:00 because no transportation company was still providing service or open my insurance company instructed to pay a cab then get reimbursed...well I did not have at least $40.00 for a cab....I started having panic attacks, I could feel my BP going up which didn't help bc my appointment was bc I had a Stroke several years ago.It was after 7:30p.m when I a lady seen me very set and she was leaving that she insisted on taking me home. read more

I use Empire to go to my medical appointments and I have to say I have never had a bad experience with them. The dispatcher JR and the driver Chris who usually drives me are both very nice and professional. They are always on time and the get me to my destination quickly and safely. I would reccomend using Empire if you have a choice for medical transportation. read more
