The staff is always so welcoming and greets you with a smile. There are different levels of beds, of course the better roomier beds cost more but I do well with just the level 1 beds. There are always monthly deals on tanning packages. This month I got 1 month for 30$! I love their visit specials. I usually grab the 50 for 50 deal when it comes around. There is a large selection of lotion! Best deals and brands in my opinion. It is always clean here! Beds are cleaned after every use by a staff member. There is always a nice treat left in the room (mint or candy) every visit. I've tried many different tanning salons but I always come back to this one. They're always running deals for lotions, often for tanning packages. Upon initial sign up, they first give you a skin evaluation to help ensure you're not using the wrong bed at the wrong time and won't harm your skin. The owner is heavily involved in the community, they're in every parade, every holiday event downtown. Kist by the Sun is the *ONLY* tanning choice for me in Ashtabula!

I complained to the manager and they did not care and offered no solutions, only excuses. When I complained to corporate, I received a $10 refund out of $42 I paid for the month, stating that 32.00 is their cost per spray tan. Not caring that I was unable to go due to their machines not working or that the one I did go to was botched. Just save your money and go to another company!!

As I got older and realized the damage I was doing, I started looking for a better spray tan option. I went to Cayla the first time for a custom tan, and was absolutely hooked and blown away. I send everyone I know to see her, and they all feel the same way. I spray for events, or just to feel like I had a getaway. Every single time I get compliments on my tan and I never worry for a minute if it will run/fade/etc. It looks beautiful and it lasts.
