I Always paid him on time and never gave him a reason to get upset. Since then, he has been harassing my tenants and me, threatening to call the city inspector to come to my buildings, sending my tenants ideas how they can sue me trying to force a Tennent to go on a date with him for smoke and drink in a very aggressive way, and many more... He seems to be very desperate for work and claimed that no one wants to hire him and kept asking me for more work, and when I said, I'm not willing to work with him, he get upset and start threatening again. I would stay away from this guy and will never let him in my house or any of my properties. I also filed a police report against him and restriction order together with a few of my tenants that has been harassed I attached a few screenshots to show the type of service you will be dealing with working with this company. David, the owner, seems like a nice guy, and he did a good job replacing the tiles on my bathroom floor, and he (mostly his assistant) did a lot of painting, which on the whole looks good. But see below... The big issues were what I discovered after he was finished and had left: fresh paint stains in multiple areas, including the wood floor of my 19th century house and even furniture - which I cleaned up. Splattered paint near the ceiling of my kitchen which still, three months later, has not been patched, paint stains on my oriental rug, a major purchase 40 years ago, etc. David said he would pay for the rug damage, and I only asked for 50% of the very reasonable $175 cleaning cost. David told me to bill him via Zelle, something I said I'm not sure how to do. He already has my Zelle information, since that's how I paid him for the work. But after messaging him and emailing several times, he has not responded. And I still have paint streaks on the wall and an unpaid bill. So I can't recommend Handy Gentlemen. I think part of the problem is that David is under-manned and a bit overwhelmed, but not responding to my messages is unprofessional.

Handy Fellas was hired on May 11, 2019 for a $23,800 project quoted for completion in 3-4 weeks…read more After many delays Jacob agreed to finally "wrap" the project on September 23, 2019. He has been paid 90% of the project amount to date and left behind inferior workmanship, debris from demolition, and zero communication of how he plans to resolve this despite multiple attempts to contact him. We were willing to come to a resolution with Jacob so long as he provided satisfactory work, but due to his unresponsiveness, we have since hired a replacement and are looking at another $9,100 to FIX + COMPLETE the work that he was initially hired for. Our experience with Jacob & Handy Fellas was incredibly disappointing. Jacob was able to do the entire job in one day (running a conduit from the floor to behind tv, setting up new electrical outlet behind tv, mounting tv, etc.) Working with Jacob was awesome. Prior to Jacob, we had others provide estimates on the job and they completely exaggerated what needed to be done. This was not the case with Jacob. He was straight forward, and looked for the best way to do a quality job efficiently. We are so glad we reached out to him. David made it look a million times better after he was done. The job took two days, where he repaired the ceiling, then painted it. Very efficient, good pricing and all around good guy.

I had called multiple roofers because I was having an issue with water leaking into my living room…read more None of them though could give me a definitive answer as to what was causing the issue and would therefore not perform any guaranteed work to fix the issue. I asked all the roofers if they wanted to cut into the ceiling but all insisted 'we work from the top down, not the bottom up'. I contacted Wall Eye to see if they would cut into my ceiling so I could perform an investigation into the issue myself. When David came by I got A LOT more than I expected. He not only did a great job of making a clean cut into my ceiling, he then took the time to take a look at the damage inside the ceiling, go outside to take a look at what was above the leak, and go upstairs to take a look at the window/roof above the leak. Before he left he told me 'I'm not a roofer but if I was to bet, your issue lies either with the seal around your window or the portion of your roof right above it". After David left I contacted another roofing company to come by and give their opinion of the issue (now being able to see inside the ceiling) and they stated they believed the issue was the EXACT same thing David did. The roofing company said they were so sure that this was the issue (based on being able to see inside the ceiling) that they were now able to guarantee the work that was done. The roofers have since completed their work and I have not the issue since. I am sure there are dozens if not more drywall contractors out there who can cut a hole or patch a hole - thankfully I was able to find one though who went completely above and beyond what was requested and/or required - David is a true 'class act' who I will never hesitate to call for any drywall work I need done in the future.

Mamut gave me time to be ready for the work and he showed up on time and his worker did too. They did the work as quoted with $200 extra added on for extra fence panels and the work looks wonderful. They were quick, professional and so far no issues with the work. I wish I had more resources to get my entire viewing parts of my fence replaced. We liked Mamut's work that we have gotten a second quote on more work that Mamut will be doing for my family.

I had a small fire in my dryer which caused damage to the drywall and exhaust vent behind. Him and his partner came the time we agreed upon and worked for about 2.5-3 hours. They easily repaired my vent, patched up the drywall and did a light coat of paint around the repair per my request. They were pleasant and good communicators.

We had three different contractors come out to repair the leaks. All of them left us with outrageous bills, threats of litigation, and bathtubs that still leaked. After receiving payment, none of them would honor their "warranties" and come back to fix their deficient work. When I initially found Jon on Yelp, I was skeptical. I decided to give him a chance because I had no other options. They were extremely responsive and were able to come out in a few days. They fixed both leaks and honored their warranties for minor things I noticed after they left. Their prices are very reasonable. Furthermore, they are actually licensed, which is rare for most services that you find on Yelp. Most contractors will present a license, but have unlicensed workers do the actual work to cut costs. They are also extremely trustworthy and I would have them work in my home with no one present. If you have any issues, I highly recommend you contact them. They will not disappoint. As to the negative reviews left by Ryenne and Amy, all I can say is that Things 2 Fix was one of the most responsive contractors I have come across. They will be my first call if I ever need assistance again.

Namely, my heavy iron screen door to the balcony kept slamming shut, the guest bedroom door was cracked and could no longer be closed properly or locked, and the kitchen faucet was driving me crazy with this constant drip....drip...drip. Plus, I wanted John's ideas on new kitchen lighting and paint colors, which will be the next project. John came by on a Monday to measure the doors and assess the damages. I think he went shopping on Tuesday at Home Depot, and by Wednesday afternoon, my entire list of broken stuff was repaired beyond my expectations, once again, while I was at Nordstrom's enjoying my day. I am so happy with his work, especially with the beautiful new kitchen faucet, the iron door closes without slamming, and the privacy of a locking door for the guest bedroom once again. Plus it was HUNDREDS of dollars less than other handy people have given me estimates for. Fair, honest, fast, reliable. I'd give 10 stars.
