That technician Kevin was texting me and letting me know of his ETA and he was exactly on time. 10:00 am . He showed up in a clean well marked vehicle and he was outstanding. He assessed the situation gave me a very fair estimate, and then was able to provide his expert opinion on some other things that could be changed if I wanted to. I took his expert advice and replaced a lot of old items on my 10-year-old garage door. I've seen a lot of my neighbors garage doors of the same age fail with much more severe consequences than mine. I originally left a 5-star review after paying $350 on April 9 to have a garage door spring…read morereplaced. Unfortunately, I have to update this review due to a poor follow-up experience. On April 20, the garage door became stuck because the cable came off the track. I reached out multiple times throughout the day and received no response. At that point, the warranty becomes meaningless if the company cannot be reached. I had another garage door company come out and paid for a second repair, to replace the now damaged cables. They confirmed that while the spring replacement itself was done correctly, the cables were not properly adjusted and the door was left imbalanced, which likely contributed to the failure. It was also why the opener was so much noisier after the spring replacement (I was told it was from excess wear on it from trying to lift the door without the spring). The opener is once again very quiet and the door is raising and lowering very smoothly and quietly. I understand that issues can happen, but lack of responsiveness--especially for something that can pose a safety risk and was most likely related to work just done --is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company nor would I use them again.
