I initially called yesterday and spoke with Jen, who was friendly and understanding. I explained that my husband and I are in the process of buying a house and urgently needed an estimate for the garage doors to negotiate with the seller. Jen understood the urgency and sent a text to stay in touch, which I appreciated. Later that evening, I texted Jen back and eventually called to clarify logistics (arrival time & estimated onsite duration). This time, I spoke with Emma, who was notably irritated and rude. I brushed it off as a possible bad day, and I explained my situation and mentioned my initial conversation with Jen. Emma couldn't provide an estimated duration for the visit but assured me they would give a 30-minute courtesy call before arrival. I even offered to send photos from our inspection for a clearer idea of the work needed, but she declined and refused provide any sort of time duration. I was just looking for an on average / ballpark time frame, nothing concrete. Before ending the call, I informed her I would confirm with the seller's agent and reach out as soon as possible. My last message confirming the appointment was sent at 8:51 pm. Today, nearing the end of the 2-4 pm arrival window they provided, I still hadn't received any updates. I called, and Emma answered again. I mentioned our appointment and asked if we were still scheduled since it was now 3:40 pm. After some back-and-forth, she recalled our conversation and said that, because my confirmation came after business hours, we weren't added to the schedule. When I asked why they hadn't informed me of this sooner, she didn't provide a clear answer and suggested rescheduling for Sunday. At this point, I declined and expressed my frustration over the lack of communication and unprofessionalism. Their hours show they close at 9 pm on Thursdays, so it was confusing why a simple message couldn't have been sent to clarify. Overall, I was upfront with my needs and timelines, yet was met with unhelpful responses and a lack of professionalism from Emma. Despite most reviews here being positive and my great initial experience with Jen, my experience with Emma left me disappointed. If you choose this company, I'd recommend requesting Jen to handle your appointment if possible.

MRS came out within an hour of my calling them. Their pricing was very good. They replaced springs and also the opener - since I broke the opener trying to get the door to open numerous times. They had parts needed and gave me a good price on everything + 5 year warranty. Tech was very friendly and capable. They even included an outdoor keypad which my builder did not. I would hire them again.

My mom and I used this company to service an issue we had with our gate…read more Please keep in mind that this experience was my impression based on phone calls I overheard and updates from my mom on the situation. Professionalism: the lady they have working in their office could probably do with some customer service etiquette training. The service person also cancelled 3x before coming out to fix the gate with no explanation of service charges or an estimate before finishing the work. I told my mom going forward please get everything in writing from all people providing services, but I believe most professionals would give you a break down of services to be rendered so you don't get charged 314 dollars for changing the batteries in an automatic gate. We got charged for a service call, labor, and parts. Usually you only get charged for a service charge if you decide not to go forward with the work. Communication: my mom had to get in touch with the lady in their office several times in order to get a quote with part numbers and weirdly the numbers on the verbal and email estimates kept changing, leading us to believe they're not really charging based on anything written down. I think it's super unprofessional to not follow up with an invoice or estimate rendered but that's our fault for chasing them down, we should have just left it alone. Accusation: I overheard the woman on the phone say that my mom didn't want to pay the bill we were given and my mom explained the service person didn't take payment at the time of service like other people in other industries have done. The woman argued with my mom about the bill when my mom asked if she was going make changes to the invoice and send her an updated invoice. My mom explained the service person gave her nothing but the carbon for the 314 dollar estimate. I feel that this situation was very confusing with poor communication and service and a lack of professionalism and poise on the company representatives part. I understand that everyone has bad days and if the owner would like to chat about our experience I am happy to discuss it with him or her but I currently do not recommend this company as I feel they didn't hit the level of service the other reviews had left. I read reviews religiously and look at them as opportunities for business owners to know what's happening in their business, but I don't leave them without serious consideration. Unfortunately the customer rep was so unhelpful I am leaving this Google review. Thanks for reading. Update: Spoke to the owner, didn't feel he handled it professionally. Especially considering he just wanted to go on a rant about "libtards" and "snowflakes". Ok... great response to the question of are you aware of the specifics of the service call. All in all I would not recommend.
