I was super nervous and didn't know what to expect (will it hurt, etc) but I booked my first session 2 days after my surgery and made it to the appointment in their beautiful Mill Valley Location. Yes- you really can go a day or two after surgery. Jordana was wonderful - she was very kind and eased my nerves immediately, even though I was 30 minutes late (whoops.) The massage was very gentle, not painful at all- and afterwards she advised on my compression garments and sent me on my way feeling so much better and with a lot more mobility than when I hobbled in. A few days later I saw Stefanie in the San Francisco location- she was also wonderful- but I ended up mostly going up to Mill Valley for the rest because the location is more convenient from where I live (and has free parking :) I'm not sure where I'd be without Jordana at this point-probably a ball of anxiety and nerves which apparently isn't good for recovery. It's been amazing to see someone consistently who can tell me if everything is looking and healing OK, and help adjust the compression when needed. I really can't recommend her enough - if you're thinking about booking, just do it. Worth every penny!

The staffer exited to ask Dr. Jamali, and I was assured that she definitely does. On that basis I went for the appointment, was quickly ushered into a treatment room and told to pay a $100 consultation fee (which I did pay, since I had been assured of the treatment). Dr. Jamali then entered the room and forcefully stated "Oh no -- I NEVER do injections with this filler in the mouth region" - so, precisely the opposite! of my assurance. Dr. Jamali then proceeded to 'explain to me' that I needed a different procedure, which happened to be far more expensive. Clearly, this FALSE 'reassurance' was intended to simply LURE me into the office. A truly UNFAIR business practice, if not directly DISHONEST.
