Chesterbrook was by far the best of what we saw. I will admit that they are a bit pricy, but my husband and I decided that we had to find a way to make it work. The school follows a curriculum that both enriches their minds and embraces their time as children. They strive to serve healthy food. The teachers are supportive and show that they care on a regular basis. When we moved, we switched to the Sugar Grove campus and we're just as happy. We chose to keep our daughter at Chesterbrook for kindergarten and I am glad we did. She had full day kindergarten without having the same classes twice. They bus kindergarteners to the Naperville school for specials once a week, which my daughter loved. Classes were focused and small. She even did a science fair project. Of course no school is perfect, but it would be silly to expect it from anyone, however, this school makes every effort to go above and beyond expectations at every turn. My kids still go back for some of their awesome summer camp days.

Being our first child, we were understandably apprehensive about daycare, but it didn't take long to see how caring each of his teachers were. Every classroom he's been in has been an excellent experience. The teachers are attentive and great at communication. Their Sproutabout app, which they use to send parents updates, is second to none, and being able to check in on the live cameras at any point gave us the transparency we needed to feel comfortable. Please don't think of this as your average daycare. The teachers who care for the kids are truly teaching our little guy so much. Every single day he comes home sharing what he's learned, sharing new experiences, arts and crafts and he genuinely enjoys being there. Lastly, I cannot speak highly enough of the facility leadership. They communicate so well with us, they're always cheerful, and they have strong bonds with the kids who attend. We went to Kindercare, Chesterbrook and Crème dela Crème. We chose Pathway. My daughter attended Pathway when we was just 2 years and 8 mos, we started with Miss Miera and Miss Maria. At that time, we are just starting potty training. I think it is more of struggling because I cannot seem to find a way to make her use the washroom. Miss Miera and Miss Maria was so helpful and I guess because of peer pressure she seem to just learn it on her own. A couple of months later, she move to Miss Melissa's room with some of her classmates from the previous room. I think the classroom transfer is based on their age and if there is a spot open in the next classroom. They have different activities to keep the kids busy, weather permitting they would play outside and they also have water days during the summer. After lunch, kids napped and they will have afternoon snacks afterwards. They organize field trips, gardening activities and plenty of drawing/writing exercises. Her last teacher is Miss Robbie, she did a great job of preparing my daughter for Kindergarten. She gave us tips of how we can encourage her to hold a pencil and reading stories. When we started here at Pathway, my little girl was shy and doesn't know how to make friends. My daughter learned a lot and when we started kindergarten she didn't struggle at all, this is all because Pathway prepared them. We left because she was starting Kindergarten and we live in a different school district. She is now in 1st grade and still remembers Miss Robbie and some of her classmates at Pathway, she keeps asking if we can come and visit her. If they were close to my house, my daughter would still be enrolled in their after school & Summer programs.

More importantly, we love the teachers and admin at KLA: Ms. Tiffany has been my 4 year old's teacher from the very beginning. She is down to earth, fun, and really connects with the kids. When I asked my daughter who her best friend was the other day, one of the 3 people she listed included Ms. Tiffany. My 4 year old is very shy but over time has opened up a lot more at school and improved her social skills with the help of Ms. Tiffany. Ms. Lisa is my 2 year old's teacher. She has young children of her own and she treats my daughter as one of own. I can tell how much she cares for and looks after my little one. Ms. Melissa is the art teacher - she works with all the children at KLA. She is incredibly nice, creative, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of the kids. Ms. Heather is the principal. She is very responsive to parents and has been a pleasure to work the past 7 months. Martial arts and music class is part of the curriculum. I am also impressed by the Spanish exposure the kids get. My 2 yr old surprised me one day when she started counting her toys in Spanish without being prompted. My older daughter has attended 5 different daycares, and by far we have been the most impressed with KLA. I never worry about the quality of care my girls get while I'm at work. Ms. Gaby (3 yr old class) is a great teacher - she is warm and deals well with all of the different personalities of the children. My daughter loves going to school there and since the stay at home order has gone into affect, the school has done a great job with conducting lessons via Zoom. This has really helped keep some normalcy for my child and they have gone above and beyond to prioritize the kids over all else. I highly recommend KLA to all my friends with children.
