They had such a blast playing and learning every day. They do so much with these kids on a daily basis. Within 1 month our youngest (2 1/2) was singing songs and learning the alphabet. Our oldest is now back in her regular school full time for the school year but she gets picked up from Goddard each afternoon from school and attends Goddard's after school program. I work downtown Chicago and traffic gets me home in the late afternoon and I'm so grateful to have a place for my oldest to go after school. I love that they pick her up daily and they help her with all of her homework!! What a blessing and time saver that is. For a working mom, your evenings are very tight and busy and any help you can get is so wonderful. My favorite part about the Goddard school is the pictures and daily emails. Each day, throughout the day, I get random photos of my kids interacting, playing, coloring and having fun. This is the highlight of my day when I get my emails and see my kiddos having a great time. It makes me smile every single time. Also, at the end of the day after I sign them out I get an email laying out there entire day which includes, what they ate, what times they changed there diapers, how long they napped, what activities they did that day. Its amazing!! The best part about this particular Goddard school is how wonderful and involved the owners are. Karen and Rundy really care for all the children and they are always there at the school! The teachers and staff that they hire are all wonderful people. They really make sure they hire the best for our children. The place is super clean and super secure. I feel safe every day leaving them there. I feel like I'm leaving them with family. I don't write reviews often but when I do, I mean every single word.

We faced many challenges within a short amount of time that resulted with removal from care. We were not informed fast enough to get her team at school on board or to help correct the situation due to lack of communication. The facility is clean, but there are some major concerns that happened with my child that made me feel she was unwanted and that the staff had no training in handling kids with certain needs. There was also high turnover with staff and unfortunately the staff members that worked best with our child were gone.

The floor, cribs, tables, toys, high chairs. Did not have enough milk for the children who drink milk. Re-heating babies bottles of formula 2-3 times (SAME BOTTLES). Re-heating the bottles after being heated and sitting out for longer than an hour than put in the fridge then reheated again. So much more I could say about this place and none of it is good. It's so upsetting how a place who specializes in child care could be so disgusting and those poor children who are not getting what they need through out the day. I was an employee and I had my child enrolled into the day care. One day is all we stayed.

With all the kids that come in and out, Leslie knows them all by name and the parents! Due to covid, we have to drop at the door, but she never even has to ask me who I am there to pick up. She knows and cares about my son! My son and I were in a building fire the summer before he started preschool. Everyone evacuated safely, but it left my son very anxious about fire detectors, alarms and extremely nervous in those situations. Leslie and his teachers take extra care to keep an eye on him each month they have fire drills. She sends out a notice to all families about the drill and then PERSONALLY emails me about how my son reacted to the drill! With the support and compassion of his teacher, he seems to be letting go of that anxiety and fear during fire drills. I know that is due to their continuous reassurance and support. I can't thank them enough for not only teaching my son, but giving him a safe and loving environment when I am working. It gives me piece of mind to leave them in their care and he always has the biggest smile on his face when I pick him up! He shares about all the fun things he did each day our entire ride home. I definitely recommend LLCA- Crest Hill.

He's learning to interact with his friends and be part of a group. All of those pre-k skills like colors, shapes, the alphabet, numbers, etc are part of the curriculum. Yes, there is a curriculum, this isn't babysitting. The facility is appealing to kids, the staff has always been friendly and also good about keeping us informed as to how his day went. Can't ask for more in quality care for your child. That peace of mind is huge.

The very first day they arrived, upon picking them up my son had marks all on his arm as if he was bitten several times. I brought It to the attention of the front desk and they managed to calm me down and reassure me they would review the cameras - they never did. As a parent, I should have trusted my intuition and removed them from this facility that very first day. My son would come home and tell us that his teacher, Ms. Amanda, didn't like him so we requested a classroom change with Ms. Jezera who was absolutely amazing. My daughter had a consistent revolving door of teachers; her nose would be completely crusted upon pickup as if she wasn't being tended to. Jezera and her sister Jasenia, who later became my daughters teacher, as well as Ms. Brittney are easily the only teachers in the entire facility that I trusted with my children. Once my son aged out of Ms. Jezera's class he was placed into a classroom with Katie's son, the director. All of a sudden they claimed he was having behavioral issues when in actuality he was being bullied by Katie's son and other classmates and management refused to do anything about it despite our continuous requests for a classroom change, which was once honored previously. Katie shows complete favoritism towards her children and would make inappropriate comments to my child. There is a current DCFS investigation as well as attorneys involved due to an incident that occurred on 7/12. Upon picking my children up from this facility, my son had marks on his hips telling me his teacher, Ms. Terrah was pinching him ( as part of disciplinary measures) upon review of their cameras and an exam of my child these accusations proved to be 100% correct. The only thing I commend this daycare on is their swift response as Terrah was terminated within the hour, however, their continuous lack of due diligence in hiring competent staff and addressing issues at their core would have prevented the continuous mistreatment of my son during his entire enrollment here. This facility over the course of the entire 18 months continued to lose my trust and the ONLY reason I kept putting faith in them is due to the strong relationships I had with the teachers listed; their promise to ensure my children were safe was appreciated but they of course can only do so much. This is the first and last daycare my children will ever attend!
