Decided to get last minute Moulin Rouge tickets for me and my wife and absolutely worth the 15 minutes waiting in line for saving 50% off the price for Orchestra seats. Staff are friendly and fast service. The TKTS is conveniently located at Times Square.

The TKTS Times Square location sells discounted tickets for broadway musical shows and off-broadway art performances, and they don't have all the shows on sale. It's usually 20%~50% discount off the original prices, and I think this ticket place only works out if they happen to offer the show you would like to see.

TKTS is the place to visit if you want tickets to Broadway musicals at a discounted rate. The line was very long, but it was worth it! We got tickets to Hadestown at $69.75 each, which was a great deal, 50% off the regular price! The show was sold out, so we were only able to get single tickets that were on opposite sides of the theatre. Tickets were available for same day shows only, but there were many different shows to choose from. We waited about 1 hour in the rain. The line was super long, but it moved at a decent pace. The trick is to come early, so you spend less time waiting in line. We didn't get there until around noon.

We have been lucky over the years to score some heavily discounted tickets at TKTS Times Square over the years. From Finding Neverland to Newsies to Beautiful:The Carole King Musical, we have seen a lot of different shows. So easy to look up what's available and luckily, we have never had to wait more than 15 to 20 minutes to get to the ticket box. The headline Broadway or Disney musicals, like Hamilton, Aladdin or Lion King, are not usually available, but there is usually a wide selection of available same day tickets for other shows. Our most recent tickets to Jersey Boys were discounted to $60 and the view was perfect in the intimate New World Stages Theater. They checked to make sure that our COVID vaccines were up to date and collected information for contract tracing when we bought our tickets. Masks were required during the performance. Great place to get a deal on last minute half priced theater and musical tickets. Hope to be able to see Caroline, or Change next time we are in NYC. On the Theater Development Fund website, there is also a link to the TKTS list of available shows.

I was at Time Square and suddenly decided to watch a Broadway show. I was told to come here for cheap discounted tickets. I was also told that they have the best seats available. I know there are other platforms or websites that offer cheap tickets like tix.com or lottery ticket websites. However, if you get it from those sites, the prices of those tickets are reflected on the seats location. Yes, they are mostly balcony seats. I paid around $87 Usd for a side orchestra left seats and I have to say the seat was not bad. It was 40% off the ticket price from what I was told and on top, the ticket came from Ticketmasters. The ticket was for the Broadway show Aladdin. The show was awesome. Note that Tkts doesn't have some of the super popular shows like The Lion King and etc. They do have a screen outside showing the shows available so you can base it on that to determine if you want to join the line or not. If the line looks long don't worry it moves super fast. I was probably in line for 10 mins max. Great deal to buy it here especially if you are like me and doesn't want to plan it ahead of time.

They open at 11 for the same day matinee tickets and start selling tickets for the evening shows at 1. You need to be in line much earlier. The tickets are discounted and usually great seats. We paid $141.20 for & Juliet which sell for $312.00. Great show, great seats.

Always liked TKTS when I worked in the city for day of show tickets at a great price. Still selling and with a new sales office under some stairs built for the tourists. The people who try to hand you bus tour information are annoying. Seems they are everywhere and have become assertive. Use to just stand passively but now they wave flyers in front of your face.

We can't recommend TKTS enough!!!! This is our third time using TKTS in the past 20 years since their inception. We were able to save 50% on Into the Woods tickets and at a cost of $440 discount!

We were told we'd find out which show on the day of (Saturday) at 11 am, but on Friday night, we got an email from the theatre saying they were excited to see us. Our "spin" landed us 3 tickets in the center of row F for Spamalot. The show was absolutely hysterical. Thanks to Broadway Roulette for making this seamless. We had a great time.

You get the option to cross off a few titles you do not want to see or maybe you have seen before. You can pay an additional fee if you would like to cross off more. For me, because I've seen so many shows, I went with that option. I still ended up getting a show I've seen before, but that's okay because it turned out to be an amazing experience seeing it on Broadway. I've always experienced the national tours. Once you have an account though and use it you won't get duplicate shows. So the next time I visit New York it's work a shot. The seats were decent enough but I'm semi skeptical because the price of the ticket almost comes out to what you would pay at the box office anyways so how much are you truly saving? There are different ways to have your experience, and you can upgrade if you prefer orchestra seats. The cool thing is the anticipation of not finding out what show you're going to see until the morning of. Overall I would do it again though.

We were able to go back and redo some of the exhibits we enjoyed, which made the experience even more fun the second (and third) time around. Over time many hits such as: Zefirelli's 'Romeo and Juliet' 1968 (Italy), 'A Room With a View' 1985 by James Ivory (UK) , et le film 'Belle de Jour' 1967 (France) directed by Luis Buñuel, were introduced to the United States with an introductory theatrical run at our beloved Paris. (Click on my Substack for more Baumbach thoughts including my brief interaction with the auteur, as awkward as many of his finest scenes). You may have heard about the successful company that helped destroy movie theaters by pivoting to "content" meant to promote purchases of high-end TVs and nice couches. (Related, I went to Best Buy and didn't recognize anything. Is that a thermostat? A stereo? A smart garden hose?) This company was so successful, that after Knives Out was heralded as single-handedly reviving non-Marvel film, its sequel was withheld from the theaters it allegedly saved. (BTW, if you were planning to tell me to watch the amazing 53-part Quibi streaming series about The Golden Age Of Hollywood, don't bother). But after Netflix helped destroy theaters, it did a nice thing. It's one of those ironic moments like the purse-snatcher scene in Jay Kelly. It signed a lease that helped the Paris avoid the fate of the Ziegfeld and a million others, in a world where the AMC theaters that destroyed all the independents have been suffering themselves. So, while it was vile that Netflix thought Roma should be seen on TVs, it was nice of them to show it at the Paris, especially for the unusually vibrant sound. I saw Train Dreams Saturday. I suppose, like the kid in Squid and The Whale, I am a philistine. I wish I could praise its morose existentialism but I'm not quite on board. However, I did appreciate the majesty of the northwestern fires and falling trees in this venue. There was no assigned seating; not sure if this is just temporary, but if they keep that policy I might be obliged to overlook Netflix's evil and upgrade to 5 stars.
