Do not hire John Dekel. When I asked for a written retainer agreement to be sent to me by mail. He told me he would not Send me one. He said," print the email or text on your printer". When I told him I did not have a printer, he said"I will not send you a letter. I recommend you go somewhere else". When I tried to hire another attorney at the firm he sent an email canceling my ticket, and told me to go somewhere else. When I asked about the retainer fee, he said it is only $225, and it is not a lot of money. That is when I told him I work very hard for my money, and I need to be very careful with my money since I am retired. Absolute worst representatives I have ever dealt with! DO NOT USE THEM. They took the case and money, misrepresented me and did not notify me that they lost the case. Afterwards I was being pursued by collections as they never reached out to me about the case and now not only is traffic school required, an additional fee was added to the initial fine!
