I contacted TKO to come out and power wash my driveway. Mike came out and took care of the driveway and walkway leading up to my home. He was very cautious with his work. On my steps there are blue gems and the power of the wash popped two of the gems out of the concrete. Mike was very concerned and called me to tell me what happened. He said he would come back the next day to repair them by gluing them back into the concrete. Sure enough he kept his word and he did!! Also he refused to accept payment unless I was 100% satisfied. I was at work during the time he came to power wash concrete so I didn't see immediate results. I sure noticed the cleanliness and appearance when I got home and was very happy with the results. My husband didn't know I arranged for the power wash so when he got home the first thing he said us that the front looked clean!!! I found Michael on Yelp, and his quote was the most reasonable, especially for everything we were wanting to get done. I was having pigeon problems. He came on time and was extremely professional and honest. Michael cleaned my solar panels for free, put chicken wiring around the solar panels and cleaned the gutters, put up spikes in few places, fixed a cracked gutter and also cleaned the vent to the dryer. He called me to let me know he had just left his first appointment of the day and was on his way. I never like to post bad reviews and this is the first yelp review to date I have ever posted, however, I'm extremely disappointed and had to spare another customer my situation. I called Mike to pressure wash the exterior of my rental home. After multiple calls and texts on my end to confirm the time, he didn't show up at our scheduled time and his phone went straight to voicemail. He finally called me back several hours later and said that his phone died and that his childcare fell through. Being a mom of 2 young kids, I empathized with him and rescheduled my day so that he could come in the afternoon. He came and pressure washed most of the exterior of the home. We ran into some issues along the way as he discovered a wasp issue. Once he completed his job, he called me. I Came to the house and paid him in full. There were several areas along the home that he had missed, however, since he had already packed up his truck, he asked if he could come back the following day. Sure enough, he never showed. I called and texted several times in the days following with no response. Then he finally responded and said the reason he did not answer his phone was because he was in the process of getting a new job with AAA roadside and also that he did not feel comfortable finishing up the pressure washing on the roof where the wasps were. I told him that was fine and that I would have an exterminator deal with that issue. I asked if he could still finish up the other areas around the house that he agreed to finish up and he said I had his word and that he would come the following morning before he left for a camping trip. Same thing again, never showed and refused to answer my phone or respond to texts. He finally replied via text and said "he had not forgotten and that he just couldn't leave his house yet." I texted him asking for an estimated time as it caused me to take the entire day off work as I had been waiting for him. He never responded and to date, it has been 4 days and he has not reached out. I texted him telling him that I was extremely disappointed in his services and that it was professional courtesy to keep someone updated should something have come up and he needed to reschedule. I honestly was trying to help him get additional business in my neighborhood and his next job was to do our exterior windows in our rental and our current home. I am shocked by the lack of service we received after seeing his 5 star yelp review. I never would have otherwise paid someone in full and relied on their word to come and finish the job, however, I apparently lacked better judgment in this situation as so many people have commented on his honestly and professionalism that I just naively trusted it. read more
