Lobster roll on brioche
Anaya M.

WOW! If you're a fan of lobster rolls, you have to try this place inside Julia & Henry's. The lobster roll are amazing--creamy, well-seasoned, and incredibly fresh. They offer both cold and hot versions; I went with the cold one. I also picked up a MIA hotdog for my nephew, and he was thrilled. Plus, both owners were there and they were super kind and hospitable. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

You have to try the A5 Wagyu beef with the foie gras, both were incredible and full of flavor. The drinks were just as good and really well made by the bartender Domen. What stood out the most was the service. Robbie y Dylan treated us like royalty and knew the menu like the back of their hand. Everyone treated me so kindly and made me feel welcome the entire time. Definitely a place you want to visit for great food, drinks, and a great atmosphere.

The highlight for me was definitely the wagyu slider--hands down the best slider we've ever had. I'm usually not a big fan of burgers or sliders, but this one completely changed my mind. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The wagyu tataki was also excellent, tender and well-balanced in flavor. The sashimi and seafood were incredibly fresh, which is always a must for us, and Novikov did not disappoint. The dim sum selection was outstanding--each dish was crafted with care and packed with flavor. And the desserts? Easily some of the best we've had compared to other premium buffets--beautifully presented and delicious. What truly elevated the experience was the service. It was attentive, warm, and made us feel genuinely special throughout the brunch. As a lovely birthday surprise, my wife received a hat as a gift and got to choose her favorite--she picked the red one, which made the brunch even more memorable.

The bread was incredible--light, airy, with just the right subtle crunch on the edges. We also enjoyed the meatballs with the sauce on the side. Thankfully we asked for it that way, as the sauce was a tad salty for our taste. The meatballs without the sauce were plenty flavorful. For entrees, we had the sesame-seared tuna and the miso-glazed Chilean seabass. Both were cooked to perfection. The tuna came with mashed potatoes, and the seabass came with crab fried rice (which, on its own, would make a nice meal). The bartenders here know how to make fantastic cocktails, so come for drinks, happy hour, or dinner and enjoy. Overall, a solid pick for a special dinner or a relaxed evening with great flavor, thoughtful preparation, and a welcoming vibe.

The lobster bisque was rich and creamy with good flavor, and the pasta was satisfying with a decent amount of seafood. Everything tasted fresh and nicely cooked. The atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable, making it a good spot for a casual meal with friends or family. Service was friendly and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. If I had to mention one downside, it would be that the prices are a little on the higher side for what you get, but the quality is still solid. Overall, it's a good place if you're in the mood for seafood and want a casual dining experience. I'd consider coming back to try more items on the menu.

Dawan was such a funny and personable server. Love her. I can tell it's been a long day for her but she still had the energy to keep going. Respect!! They have an AYCE menu so they do get pretty packed during that time so beware. We had a great experience. Despite sitting outside, we were still being checked on and water refilled. We ordered the Zen mojito and Miami sunshine. I really enjoyed the latter. For a family of 3, we ordered Shrimp head off 1/2lb + Combo #3 -- $69.99 1 lb green mussel, 1 lb clam, 1/2 lb shrimp, 1/2 snow crab leg -- with sausage, potatoes, and corn 3 sides of choice w/ garlic butter sauce & house(?) - side of white rice. What an experience…read more I had heard about Tam Tam from friends and had been on my radar for a while. This is a place for which you basically need a reservation, and they are not easy to come by. We ended up visiting at 5:30 p.m. to be able to grab a spot, and since before the restaurant opens, you can see people waiting for their reservations. You are first greeted at a window outside the restaurant, and as soon as you walk in, you are transported. The music, the decor, the aromas -- it feels like you are someplace else. A great atmosphere to enjoy a meal with your partner or with small groups of friends. I do want to highlight that the service was spotless since that first greeting at the window, to getting you to your table, going over the menu, and explaining the concept; they made sure we had a great experience throughout the meal. But what really sets Tam Tam apart is the food. The menu is short but accommodating, with options for everyone. Small dishes go for around $20 each, while large dishes go for around $40; you can expect to spend around $40-50 per person on food. We tried the Lotus salad, the Shimeji Mushroom, the wings, and the "wrap situation". I would say they were all +4.5 stars. Each of the dishes offered a unique flavor profile, not only amongst them but also from other restaurants you will try, making it truly a remarkable experience. At Tam Tam, you can notice their attention to detail; each dish is carefully crafted, balancing freshness, textures, spice, all combining in an explosion of flavor in your mouth. All in all, go on Resy right now and book a spot. Tam Tam is definitely a worthy experience. My Criteria 5 stars: The best food I have ever had, or an excellent option given the price. 4 stars: Good food, a restaurant I look forward to trying again. 3 stars: Good food, a restaurant that I am indifferent to. 2 stars: Below average experience, will not go again. 1 stars: This restaurant should be closed.

As a Vietnamese person, the menu screamed contemporary, flavorful, and new, and I wanted to try all of it. The host was friendly and prepped us for a 30 minute wait that ended up lasting maybe 10. It may have helped that we weren't too picky about spots and ended up getting seats at the bar, which gave us easy access to the already attentive bartenders. We had a great view into the kitchen and saw all the lively happenings. Before I even talk about food: the 80s-90s Vietnamese New Wave music was incredible. I was hearing songs that I hadn't heard in years (decades!) and couldn't believe I was recognizing these hits from my childhood. That alone set the atmosphere for what Tam Tam was trying to create: a modern vibe with layers of true Vietnamese-American culture while still using traditional Vietnamese flavors. It was truly a great way to enjoy and connect with the ambiance in a way that I hadn't anywhere else ever before. -Grilled oysters: delicious. Came out covered in a delicious hollandaise and some scallion oil. Savory and unique. -Grilled escarole: this is an outdated review, so I don't think this is on the menu anymore which is a damn shame because this was my favorite dish. It had all the quintessential Vietnamese flavors: toasty dried shrimp, scallion oil, dipping fish sauce - it was irresistible and just a great reflection of how Vietnamese people can make the simplest vegetables so damn tasty. -Chicken wings: still very popular. Do not skip this. We were on a Miami restaurant crawl, so after those few dishes, we headed off to our next stop and let me tell ya, we were full of regret that we left. Should've just stayed, said to hell with everything else, and ordered the rest of the menu.

The happy hour menu is surprisingly grounded for this part of the city, offering some of the best prices I've seen in Miami recently--averaging $10-$12 for a mixed drink. While my friend sampled a few of the more complex options, I stuck to my standard Ranch Water, which was delivered perfectly. The service stood out here. The bartenders operated as a highly coordinated team, moving fast and effectively to manage a busy crowd without losing the ability to make personal connections through conversation. It's a level of efficiency you don't always see at high-volume rooftops. While we didn't stay for a meal, the lobster and King Crab tanks you see upon entering are a clear highlight and a nod to the quality of the kitchen. If you're looking for a supportive environment to catch a sunset with a clean drink in hand, this is a top-tier choice in the Edgewater area.

So we pull up to this place because it was the only one on the water and it was overlooking the biscayne bay on this beautiful January night. We had an issue with our reservation because there are 3 different systems that you can book through so he gave his name and the hostess said she didn't see our name. I don't know why you wouldn't check all three systems before telling someone they don't have a reservation but nonetheless after about 5-7 minutes she finally found it. We were seated promptly and the server who sat us got our first drinks and our water and from there the service of our permanent waitress was a little subpar. We seemed to wait an excessive amount of time for things and sometimes I feel it's because they have the guaranteed gratuity added. For me, this is a reason why the service should be even better because you are not going in this place spending less than $100 per person for even the cheapest things on the menu. We ordered the 4oz of crab legs, the steak tartare with caviar and the steak platter. The food was all very delicious but the bill was astronomical compared to the portion size. It was a great experience to have, but if I never go back I won't be disappointed. The steak platter was my favorite thing that we ate because of all of the homemade things that accompanied the steak so that would be something I would go back for. Overall I enjoyed my birthday and shoutout to my man for taking me to this place because it was great. We would just prefer some place else where our money may go further for what we had and better service.
