Travis has now helped me with multiple plumbing issues from repairing ABS to help with leaky plumbing fixtures. After feeling defeated from my home warranty company he offered great advice and fixed my issues for 1/4 of the cost. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing issues! read more

I am a landlord, and sometimes things can get hectic when things like water heaters break or aren't performing correctly. This is not a problem for a professional like Travis at TK Plumbing. Not only is he the one that answers the phone, but he had no problem with communicating with my tenants to coordinate and work around their schedules to get this job done. He was also able to work with an unrelated professional electrician I hired to make sure the wiring was adequate and safe. Travis worked after hours to get the work done. He was upfront (and accurate!) with his estimate, and communicated clearly over the phone as well as texts. He works fast and with confidence. Here was the real test- after the (new) water heater was installed, we discovered later that night it wasn't working properly. He answered the phone after hours and we discussed a game plan. Travis took charge of the situation and coordinated the same electrician coming out during a small window of time (tenant's lunch break from work) to troubleshoot the problem. The problem ended up being a bad part that came out of the factory not working (the electrician tested it for continuity). Travis saved me and my tenants further inconvenience with his experience, confidence, and experience. I will be calling him in the future for plumbing needs in my other rentals. Thanks again, Travis. read more

This review is many months overdue. Travis is the actual person you'll deal with, no subcontracting! :) Travis came and repaired the work from another Yelp company's subcontracted plumber (PS: that Yelp company happens to have a 5 star rating with over 125 reviews). The 'other plumber' had an unlicensed person do the piping and installed Pex instead of copper without me knowing. Needless to say, once the cast iron tub went in the measurements were off and I was disappointed. In comes Travis. Accessible by phone. Great availability!! He is super friendly. Respectful (being female and leading the renovations on my place, I have had plenty of people try to take advantage of me bc they think I don't know what I'm talking about). And, pricing...I was concerned this was too good to be true bc his price was unbeatable. Travis gave me further education on Pex. Explained his preference for copper, which reassured me that I knew I wanted copper. Moved that heavy cast iron tub - BY HIMSELF. Triple checked for any potential for leaks. And was on schedule. I can report no leaks and great pressure at least half a year later. We ended up using him again to do an ASAP fix of our water regulator and water heater pipe. Again, this was done with great quality and customer service. Save yourself headaches, time, and money and go with Travis. I look forward to using him again when we get to the kitchen and powder room. As first time homeowners, I'm very grateful we found our go to plumber. read more

I just had a new water heater installed by James Kim last night. I first called Travis at TK Plumbing and found him to be extremely friendly and helpful for my two plumbing needs. My water softener was leaking and then literally my water heater failed. He actually answers his phone and talked to me at least 5 times over 24 hours to meet scheduling needs and set up both repairs. James Kim actually repaired everything and did an absolutely excellent job of installing my new water heater working till 7:30 PM to finish everything up. I was extremely happy with with Travis and James and would absolutely recommend TK Plumbing with a 5 star rating!!!! read more

TK plumbing is a a top notch company. My bathroom flooded overnight on a Saturday and I woke up to a mess on a Sunday morning . I contacted Travis Sunday morning and and was able to schedule a same day visit. Upon his visit he laid out my options in terms of cost of work if done on a Sunday as opposed to a Monday and let me decide. I appreciated his straightforward and thoughtful perspective and his prices are excellent like his work. He completed my repair promptly and thoroughly explained what he had done. During the process I asked if he would do a little video for my nephew who has Autism and is obsessed with plumbing and he graciously did one for him talking to him throughout the video explaining his process . Needless to say truly a nice guy who is willing to take a minute for others which was over and above expectation of what I had called him to do. This isn't the first time TK has come through for me in a pinch and they will always be the company I call for my plumbing needs! read more

My first mistake was calling a competitor first for my ceiling leak because they offered to set me up with an appointment. Travis made room in his busy schedule to stop by and do the repair. Outstanding service and response. Travis responded quickly to take care of terrible situation with a badly backed up toilet and sink for our neighbor who is a shut-in veteran. Travis saved the day! He did an amazing job with a really bad situation. Thank you for your professional and caring way of dealing with this BIG problem! read more

Travis did a lot of work for me when I purchased my new home. He rerouted the plumbing in the shed to accommodate a new sink for our washer and dryer. He checked out my kitchen before the new one was installed and noticed my drain was to high for the garbage disposal we were added so he rerouted that and after our new kitchen was installed he installed the sink and dishwasher for fair price. Best of all, on Christmas morning, I texted him a picture of backed up sewage into my tub. He promptly came by to take care of it and diagnosed a much bigger problem. I am grateful for Travis taking care of me as these issues keep piling up! Highly recommended. read more

We just bought a 1957 home and knew it would come with maintenance issues, but we could not resist the charm of the place. Two weeks later, a clog backing up into the utility sink in the garage. We did not expect this so soon! We had no idea who to call to work on this tender house. I just grabbed Yelp. We like to support small businesses and TK jumped off the screen with good reviews. It was late on a Friday when most people are trying to avoid more work to wrap up the week. He answered the phone on the first try. He gave me a couple things to test to see if we could determine if it was a problem near the kitchen, or further down the main-line. Once that was answered (deep in the main-line), he knew he needed larger equipment and had to make a detour back to his shop. All told, he arrived less than two hours later at 5:45. He was efficient, knowledgable, and friendly. An hour later, and the drains (which had been slow since day one) were all flowing smooth. Price was fair. No one wants a plumber, but if you need one - I suggest you put this guy in your saved contacts. read more

Our pipes under the sink were leaking. They showed up and fixed everything in no time! Thank you!

Our house was built in the early 70's that had a pool with a gas spa heater. It appeared the previous owners which were disclosed to us as the original owners used PVC for the gas line. The gas line had a leak in it as we kept smelling gas on the side of the house. The gas line did not have a shut off valve unless you turned the gas off for the whole house. I had some workers start digging around looking for the pipe, that's when we discovered it was PVC as one of the workers hit the pipe and made the hole worse. I called TK Plumbing at 5PM on a Thursday and they were able to come out that night cut the pool gas line off and cap it, so we would have gas for hot water. They did all of this for under $100! I don't use many plumbing companies but TK Plumbing knows there stuff and the pricing is way better than I have seen before. I will use again! read more

We recently hired Travis to do some plumbing on our kitchen remodel. We were on a tight budget and weren't really sure what would be involved. Travis came out and thoroughly reviewed and addressed our concerns. We live in a mobile and our plumbing was a hot mess. Travis was extremely knowledgeable, professional and did not try to up sell us. While we do need more work done, he discussed what was needed now and what could wait. Travis was friendly, honest and always communicated when he would come by, what work would be performed and how long it would take. We WILL be hiring TK Plumbing again and we will ABSOLUTELY recommend them. First class work and years of experience. read more

I first contacted Travis for advice when another "big TV Plumbing company" gave me a ridiculous quote. Travis gave me advice over the phone; it ended up saving me over $20,000 just by taking the steps he suggested. I knew then that this was a business I would use in the future. Fast Forward to Oct 2019 and Travis came over after we made an appointment; with the best in high tech text confirmation. He did a great job, was super prompt and had great confirmation communication. He took care of three projects and did not try to oversell me on another project I was considering; but he gave great advice for me to check on my concern and he put me at ease as well. I first learned of TK Plumbing from Yelp, and so it truly was all accurate. Five Stars for sure. Thank you! read more

Our kitchen sink was clogged so I called several plumbing companies who told me they could come in a few days. I found TK plumbing. Travis came in about one hour (after 5 PM). We live in a 6 story condo building. The sewer lines are very complicated. Travis worked very hard trying to clear the clog. At 8 PM I asked if he could return the next day. At that point he had snaked our pipe for approximately 70 feet. He said he would return a 10 the next morning. He arrived as he said. He adjusted the equipment and successfully cleared the clog. He was very friendly, professional, and his price was very feasonably. We said goodby and I started the dish washer about an hour after Travis left. The dish washer started to spew water. I called Kevin and he returned within 30 minutes and quickly solved the problem which was internal to the dish washer, not related to the clog in in the line. This was without question the best plumber I I have ever dealt with. I will call him any time I have plumbing problems in the future. read more

Outstanding Professional Service!!! We discovered our issue on a Sunday and we called TK Plumbing early on a Monday. Mr. Travis was gracious to accommodate us right away. They arrived at the appointed time he specified and him and his assistant James, were wearing masks. They were very professional and eager to tackle the problem. Immediately Travis identified it was a drain pipe leak, did tests to verify and explained to us the details. He was like a surgeon providing us what the problem was and how they were going to solve it. He also assisted us by coordinating with a sanitation and drying company, Express Dry, because of the extent of the damages the leak caused. Travis personally vouched for this company and after they serviced us we understood why. Travis' standard is high and he wants to maintain it that way to uphold his company. Moreover, Travis assisted us with documents for insurance claim. As a bonus to us, Travis offered to pray for my husband's surgery. It's been almost 3 weeks and, so far, the repair is still good to go. Thank you Travis and James for your exceptional service! May God continually bless you and your company. Had to write an update on Travis "OUR PLUMBER". Going through a very stressful remodel and after removing our old washer & dryer, the plumbing did not look right to us. Called TK Plumbing hoping to see if we could get Travis to come out first thing Monday morning. In luck, he said he would be there. As always, after explaining what we thought the problem was Travis gave us an estimate over the phone. When he got there he said the plumbing was fine and we did not need to have anything done. He did not even charge us for the house call. This Plumber is our HERO as he removed so much stress off of us with his diagnosis. We are so relieved to now have "OUR PLUMBER", someone we now know and have come to trust for any future plumbing issues. THANK YOU AGAIN TRAVIS - YOU ARE THE BEST! read more
