I had been going to TK Nails for many years. I get a pedicure every six weeks. The last several times I went, very disappointed in quality. The last time, is now the last time. Person did not even say hello, or speak to me at all, as she raced thru my pedicure. She did not smooth my problem nails at all, and completely missed polish on my baby toes! Normally my callouses are soft and heels nicely done- nope. And the time before this appt - had to endure two employees openly arguing! I just went to get my gel-x nails removed. the girl was so rough she damaged my real nails with the electric file. that's all she used to remove them. I am not an expert, but i have been getting my nails done for over 20 yrs and I KNOW they aren't supposed to file them all the way down like that. the only reason they get any starts is because you have to mark something. otherwise they would get 0. read more

Most unprofessional place I've ever been to. I was in pain as she tried to cut down the side of my big toe nail and didn't feel relaxed at all during the pedicure. A few days later my toe is infected. Extremely red, inflamed, painful, and oozing pus. Today I got a procedure done by a podiatrist (foot specialist) to cut out half of my toe nail. On top of the 70 dollar pedicure, I'm now spending money on a specialist to fix their mistake. I go back in a few days to see if they have to remove the WHOLE nail because of the spreading infection. When I called TK nails to ask for a refund the manager told me all she could do was offer a gift card. I told her I was never coming back and I wanted my money refunded. She HUNG UP on me and refused to answer any more calls from my number. The most unprofessional business I've been to! read more

Please take the reviews seriously! Do not come here by any means! I came in today asking for a simple soak off, I had on very short French nail set and yet it took and hour and a half to soak off! Not to mention the person doing my removal was very aggressive to the point I started bleeding and my nail beds are ruined! Three of us ladies went in for pedicures today. The others two ladies got their feet started on right away; my lady left me soaking. Once she started cutting the nails, I noticed her looking everywhere but at my feet. All of a sudden I felt a sharp pain in my right foot. The girl was pulling at the little toe nail and managed to pull it out, causing more pain and bleeding. All she said was, Oh I'm sorry. Then she asked if it came out because of my diabetes. Well, no, I don't have any diabetes and my nails are strong. If she'd watched what she was doing, this wouldn't have happened. I love this place! I've been coming here every around every 2 weeks for almost 2 years. I have acrylic stiletto nails and have almost always had a great experience. It's a professional, clean shop with the best prices in town, hands down. They also take care of you in a timely manner and have an impressive selection of colors in both gel and regular polish. They're also on top of trends and able to give you chrome, holo, coffin, stiletto, or any other kind of nails that you can think of. While all of the techs are amazing, Van is especially wonderful. I will never be going back here again, tried it out about three times. The first time it was good, just a basic acrylic. Second time they messed up the design slightly so no big deal. This last time was just awful...got a pedicure and a fill. I asked for the cheaper pedicure with lotion and she did some additional things so I was slightly confused and stated that it was more than they usually do and she just laughed. Afterwards, I asked for a design...I'm not sure how to describe how it turned out, but this picture explains it. When I got to the register my pedi and fill was $79. I asked, "how is it that much???" Apparently she did the $45 pedicure on me and he charged me an additional $15 for my one nail that fell off a week after I got my nails done two weeks prior from them. I'm so upset that I'm going to a different salon to redo my nails. read more

I have been coming here for two years for pedicures. Today when I got home I noticed in the light that the polish color was very splotchy and looked like two different colors . I called the salon and explained what my polish looked like . Their response was " what do you want us to do?" I said can you refund the portion for the gel polish or give some sort of credit ? I was told no " come in and we will look at it and maybe fix it". I explained that I have a baby at home and can't just come in and can't bring a baby in there ( with all the fumes as they don't open doors at all) She said " oh well everyone has babies figure it out" and she hung up on me . I went in for a pedicure. The salon was ok as far as cleanliness. They had a sterilizer for the pedicure tools which I liked but the girl did try to use a cheese grater on my feet which I do not like! As far as the staff goes they made me feel uncomfortable. As I was sitting in the pedi chair an Asian man burst in the front door and immediately started yelling in his own language. It was clearly some sort of argument that he and his woman coworker were having. Then he sat down and started working on some poor customers nails while still yelling. I took my mom there and we got pedicures and manicures with no polish. They gave us a coupon price of 30 each and we paid the tips in cash (10). The girl at the salon put an extra 5 on the credit card slip. It was not so much the 5 dollars as it was the fact that she thought she could get away with it, plus it was probably not the first time she did it. The place is dirty and she was very rude after I called her out on the 5 dollars she said she was going to call her lawyer because I accused her of stealing and then she said it was a mistake. We got two spa mani and pedi's ($70) my wife's eyebrows ($10) and she upgraded from regular polish to gel (we were told extra $10). Should have been $90 before tip, we paid $118 plus tip. Horrible Treatment was horrible!!! Called two days ahead to let the business know we would have 4 ladies coming in for a birthday. They were extremely nice on the phone...... Yes yes yes come in appt for 1:30. I asked if they could please make sure to keep 4 pedicure chairs together. They said yes. Come in there are 7 chairs no one is there except one woman who is in the 3rd chair right in the middle. No chance for us to sit together. Service was horrible, the manager, Jimmy and his wife were completely rude. No customer service, painful pedicures and rushed manicures while sitting trying to enjoy a pedi. When I asked for a manicure I just got a look like NO!! I was glad I didn't get one,as my friend who did was cut numerous times. The others had cuts during their pedicures.
