Ate breakfast there this week. Great homecooked food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. Definitely will go back.

If you're in the area just stop and eat and they have a microbrew right across the street. I had…read morecrews working a project and for two weeks they ate at Dooleys almost every single day. The smash burgers are fabulous but the Ruben is crazy good. Super friendly service plenty of parking and even outdoor seating when the weather ain't this hot.

This place is good for bar food but nothing special…read more We got here about 1 on a Sunday, not very busy, but the hostess walked away as we walked up and it took a few minutes for someone to seat us. When we were seated, we were offered 3 different table choices instead of being brought to a table. A general area was indicated and since neither of us had been here before, it was a bit chaotic. Had to wait a few beats for a server, but she was friendly when she arrived. We started with the potato skins which were all topped inconsistently - some had more cheese, some more bacon, and some skimpy all around. My friend got the burger and she said it was delicious. I got the steak grilled cheese which was salty and the meat wasn't easy to consume. I was under the assumption this would be more of a grilled cheese, but it was really bread with melted cheese and steak stuck in between. We both got fries and we did enjoy those. The decor is of Wilkes over the years which was pretty cool. I did notice the sign above our table had Wilkes misspelled - I don't know if that was a typo of the town had a different name previously. I'm unsure if I'd choose to come back here again. If so, I'll probably try a burger.

Of course the current iteration of the MFG doesn't look at all the same inside and the owners/managers are different but that small town, community centered feel is still there. I was recently back in Mo. Falls and visited three time with my dad. He's there once a day anytime the door is open! So you can say that he's more than a regular patron. Service was relatively quick given how busy they were with those eating in and the stream of take out orders. Cash preferred it seems but cards are accepted. Here you'll find rotating daily specials on the dry erase near the door. You can find the daily vegetables on that board as well. Whether you are getting a veggie plate or a daily special you'll want to check the board to see all your options. I generally just take a picture when coming in so that I can read back over after checking out the menu. One side of the menu is breakfast and the other is lunch. Is this a change your life restaurant? Nope but they can't all be. :) Is this a place where you should stop if you want a homey, friendly feel and a bite to eat, sure is!

I had been told to try this place out by a coworker, specifically their breakfast. On a whim I…read moredecided to go at about 11:45am, hoping they'd still be serving breakfast but they weren't so we had the lunch menu. At first glance, the place is very run down, it has the old southern diner feel, but I don't think they have enough employees to keep the place up 100%. Our waitress was very very nice, she was having to wait on folks and go back to wash dishes since they don't have a dishwasher (at the time of me posting this anyways). Half the seating was closed off and the lights dimmed. Aside from the scenery of the place, this is the type of restaurant you'd take your southern grandma too and she'd love it. You have all these southern dishes to choose from!! I was personally excited to see they serve liver mush sandwiches, so that's what I got. I added egg to mine and it was not expensive at all. It was very basic but gosh was it yummy. I also had a side of tropical fruit which came with pineapple, papaya, and peaches. All of that plus a sweet tea totaled to about 10 dollars. I tipped generously because I felt bad that they had no help. I truly do think this place could be buzzing with business, they just need the employees/help to do it. If you're in the area, I do suggest you go in and try the food, while the ambience/scenery isn't the greatest, you will be served with a smile and get some delicious southern home cooking. I wish the owners the best of luck.

Bacon was cold and too crisp. Refined wheat bread came unbuttered and too cool to add butter. Coffee was weak. The space was not exceptionally well maintained and had a 92.5% health department rating. The was a slight odor of cleaning fluid (something akin to PineSol) when you walked in the door. Wait staff was VERY polite and hard working, which makes a review like thus one hard to write, but which kicks this one to two stars. We suspect pre-boomer locals frequent the place, and have grown comfortable with the place.
