If you blink you may miss your turn in to the parking lot...nice parking out front, more in the back. Drive thru service was very busy while we were there. We didn't know what we wanted, they were very patient while we took up space at the counter trying to make up our minds. I finally went with the pimento on a croissant (I had them add bacon to mine), my friend went with a roast beef sub (we skipped any sides since we were for sure going to get dessert). The place is cute, looks like the last remodel was early 90's (sponge painted walls), it was clean they were constantly out wiping tables, restocking napkins, etc. Tables with umbrellas front and back (no completely covered outdoor dining though). We chose to eat inside because there was a rainstorm coming. Good value for the money: my sandwich, dessert and drink (with FREE refills) was $12. read more

Can't wait to try the rest of the menu options. We were on our way to dinner in Boone when we got caught in a tropical monsoon that made driving next to impossible. Decided to grab some ice cream and wait the worst of the storm out. Quick internet search indicated several potential candidates with little other information. In the end, we decided to try Dine-n-Dash because it was close being only one more exit down from the rest area we parked at to wait out the storm. Turned out to be a great choice. It's really a small Cafe focusing on Ice Cream and Fast Food items like Hot Dogs, Burgers etc. Not extensive but well executed. My friend order a Butter Pecan Cup with extra Pecans and I went with a straight Butter Pecan in a Waffle Cone. Both were fantastic and I only regret that we had reservations later at another restaurant that I had been wanting to try, otherwise I would have tried other items on the menu. Service was great and friendly. Very clean. We had a chance to meet the sister of the owner who also works there and as far as customer service goes, without parr. It's very clean there and spacious. The staff was friendly and welcoming. I'd been hearing they have the best hotdogs in the area. To me, not so much. The bun wasn't toasted. The dog itself wasn't broiled or grilled (it looked sort've raw). The potato salad was excellent. They have hand dipped ice cream (I didn't try). read more

I really like this place and I'm sure the more I visit it, I will love it. I've mostly used drive-thru here as it doesn't seem to be as congested during the lunch hours as the Burger King located on one side, and the Wendy's located at the other. The food is made to order, and everything I've had has always been tasty good for me. What really sticks out in my mind about this place is that it's cheap...and these days, I really appreciate that! Again, being made to order, sometimes the drive thru takes a while, but never to where I'm pulling my hair out. Most every time, I drive out of here paying under $5 for a meal. So far I've had the hot dog, carrot muffin, pretzel, non-fat vanilla yogurt, waffle cone, and garden burger. I can't wait to try everything else. Absolutely friendly employees. The food is good. I got a Roast Beef sub all the way. And don't get me wrong it was good, but they were real heavy on the oil. Other than that the ice cream was really good. The place was spotless, even the bathrooms. I will be coming back here to eat if I come back this way. read more

The ambiance inside Dine-n-Dash is kind of fun with a small town diner/creamery feel. The food however is a bit embarrassing. It's very obvious that everything they serve is frozen or from a can. The only equipment you see in the kitchen is a microwave. Even more embarrassing is the portion size. I understand at their prices that one should not expect to receive much but it's hard not to leave hungry with such small plates. This standard is continued through the ice-cream and shakes. Very "fake" tasting. The staff is very nice and the facility always seems to be clean. They do have a reliable wifi connection and televisions throughout the seating area. I would recommend Dine-n-Dash if you want a quick snack while surfing the internet. Maybe a cheap soft serve with some toppings. Definitely do not arrive with an appetite! read more

The food taste like its been soaked in a type of cleaner they use. Alot of Spanish Restaurants use this particular cleaning product. I got a hot fudge brownie about 3 years ago and I had to throw it away because I tasted nothing but chemicals. I thought I would give them another try yesterday at my daughters request and after one bite of a BLT I had to throw the entire sandwich away plus my daughters. Highly disappointing! Surely to goodness costumers are noticing this.. how could you not! read more

Food was excellent and prices very reasonable. Chicken salad croissant was good, and finding a good chicken salad is sometimes a gamble. Potato salad was good as well. My husband enjoyed the Top Dog 1/4 lb hot dog with chips. We finished our visit with yogurt waffle cones. The service was great - fast and friendly. I love this place best hotdogs anywhere ! I used to eat there everyday when working in Wilkesboro. Reasonably priced and great food. I have always left feeling very satisfied with my portions and the taste of food. I have and will continue to reccomend the Dine and Dash.
