Come here pretty much all the time it seems for that higher end item. But something that is still of good quality but not very expensive. Sometimes stuff is scratched but generally in really good condition. Just got a deal on a side table that was $30 cheaper than Target, but just the same quality! Highly recommend! read more

This store seems smaller than others. The selection and variety seem smaller as well. The shoe department is bare. The beauty department is small. None of the employees spoke or asked if I needed assistance in passing. The cashier was friendly enough. I don't think I'll come back to this location. Staff is always kind. Which is a big plus. Seems like there is always a big selection there. Unfortunately when I went the men's area was not stocked so I couldn't go shopping like I normally do when here. I also have noticed a few area in the back where stuff is overstocked and pushed together. Seems like they're still trying to sell things that have been on the shelves for a while which makes sense considering they have to keep up with sales. Glad to shop here every now and then read more

Don't count on TJ Maxx to replace shopping in Columbia or Florence! While the Sumter TJM is comparable to TJM in other towns, it IS the only show in town! The store is clean and well stocked but beware when you go to check out, you may have to stand in line for longer than it took to choose your items...there's NEVER enough cashiers. Oh, and once you get in front of a cashier, she may just be grumbling about working late or something else I'd rather not hear about! Happy Shopping! read more
