Do not come to this TJ Maxx if you expect a very good customer service, I was not satisfied with how I was served because Esmeralda a the coordinator was not acknowledging the customer and was talking to all her colleagues when she was supposed to be doing her job, I did not like this at all I wanted to make a quick shop at TJ Maxx and I had a question and she kept on talking and talking and talking to her colleagues I mean as a coordinator you're supposed to be helping out the customers aren't you? read more

Pretty neat and organized, which i know is a challenge in stores like this. Received EXCELLENT customer service from Luke at the register. He was very knowledgeable and easily answered my questions about my product a and pricing. He also helped me monitor my total, as I had a tight budget to stick to. I had a little trouble with the card machine but he was patient and very helpful. So friendly, and so efficient. He deserves a bonus/raise/gold star for his exceptional service! read more

This review is about how this location is managed and not about the product that I bought. Stopped in here today hoping to find a fantastic but expensive winter coat which was exactly what got. A great North Face Coat that will work for the winter. However, though buying the coat was an absolute mess. The Cash Register area of the store was very understaffed with only three registers opened and a bunch of people on line waiting to buy items. When we got to the register this woman gave us a very rude attitude and said: "sorry most of our staff is on lunch break and we are short staff". Even on Election Day, it does not matter who is what or where if you see a lot of customers online then you need to make sure that your resister area is properly staffed so that those customers can buy the merchandise quickly and get out. Whoever the manager is of this TJMaxx is you need to fix this problem quickly so that you can be prepared for the holiday rush of shoppers. Finally, The hand sanitizer that was given to us at the front of the store smelt like it had gone bad which was interesting considering this store sold a lot of better smelling and good-looking ones. Again I only made a purchase here because the coat is exactly what I was looking for. Would not go back and would recommend instead visiting Marshall's in Garfield, East Rutherford, and Secaucus, or the TJMaxx's in Lyndhurst, Paramus, and Secaucus. read more

This is a pretty good location. You never know what you are going to find, which can be very fun. If you are looking for something specific you may not find it, but you'll definitely find other things- you didn't know you wanted or needed. They have a good selection of shoes, coats, slippers, blankets, house decor, pet items, and many other things. The prices are great therefore the lines seem to always be long, but the employees are nice even when it gets hectic. Some sales are final and some are not. So make sure you know the policy for the item before buying it. read more

I purchased a few things and one of my items were these waterless razors... I kinda needed them so I bought it anyways but two different prices but same item.. asked for the manager and she said one item has been in the store for 3 months or so and the other one is recent but she wasn't able to give me that simple discount which I really don't care but being a customer they should of given me that simple discount but RUDE as hell... not a fan of this store tbh. One of the worst experiences I have had. I almost walked out. The ladies bathroom was filthy and smelled of urine. The first manager I spoke to didnt handle it all. Then I was told to ask for Scott and he was a liar!! He claimed he checked bathroom an hour before. As both soap dispensers were out and my stall had ZERO toilet paper I'm certain nobody checked for the entire day. Will not go back. Do NOT recommend. read more

After I walked by TJ Maxx earlier in the morning and saw some items I wanted to purchase, I decided to swing by later after they opened at 9:30am! I snagged a tan tote that I have been looking for in so long. It was on clearance and in great condition! I looked around a little more, they have a great selection of home goods - even pots and pans! They have a lot of items on clearance too and all in perfect condition. Even the service was so friendly. This was on a Wednesday a little before noon and there were a lot of employees walking around, tiding up the place. The cashier was super sweet too and this will definitely be a store I shop at more often! read more

I visited a few TJ Maxx stores and this was actually a nice one, not to mention they had the bike I was looking for. The store associates were extremely helpful. The store was rather clean and organized, yet didn't have a wide assortment of clothes like most TJ Maxx stores. read more

Terrible store. clothes strewn all over the place. Looked like people had 10 minutes to fill their cart and they could keep everything in it type game show. A few days ago I came in looking for a dress shirt, the selection they had was very basic. Out of the few TJ Maxx stores I have been too, this one had the least amount of clothing for men. The selection was horrible. Yea the store may've had a few good items, but a majority of the clothing was too baggy, or too tight. I am not ashamed to admit that I shop at TJ Maxx especially when I need to buy a dress shirt for an event to match one of my wife's dresses. I happen to be the very first customer that day, it was 9:26 am when they opened the doors. They saw me waiting outside and happened to open the door 4 minutes early for me. Can't say the store was unorganized, as it was neat... can't even say that there was a line to pay since the store was empty. But as I stated earlier, the store had a decent selection of basic clothing, and when I mean basic, I mean they had regular dress shirts. white, black, maybe a light blue, or striped shirt... I needed a teal color shirt. I didn't find it here, but I managed to get something else. read more

I went into tj max awhile ago with 2 of my daughters. each one took one item and the little one grabbed a shirt from her older sister and asked me to get her a larger size. when I gave her the item the lady in the waiting room started screaming at my daughter and giving us an attitude about she can't have more than one item even though she didn't, I think that lady was very rude especially to scream at a little girl. read more

This is one of the dirtiest stores I've ever been to. Most of the items they willingly leave on the racks are either damaged or stained, probably from laying on the dirty floor all day. Upon check out, I asked to receive a small discount on a shirt I bought with a stain on it. It was the last one in any size. The "supervisor" Veronica guerra denied it claiming I should just wash it and see what happens. She was rude and extremely unpleasant. I shop there quite frequently despite the filth because it's close to my house. But sorry excuses for management, like Veronica, is the reason why I will be taking my business elsewhere read more

I have been going to this particular location since they opened. They have a great selection, always neat and organized. I seen there growth from the very start. All the employees are kind and courteous.The line checkout can be long on certain days but they do an awesome job on opening registers. HOWEVER, on this past week I ran in to purchase a few things. There were 4 employees chatting away. Two customers were already paying. My 4 year old was eating her ice cream. The chatting and laughing continued for 10 minutes. They saw me alone and by the time the cashier called me my daughters ice cream was completely melted. One of the chatting employees who gave me a smirk called another customer behind me. She knew I was waiting and gave me a sly smile. I complained to the cashier who was so nice as to run and get me paper towels and apologized for the super long wait. This sweet and courteous cashier is named " ENZA" (I might have spelled her name wrong and I apologize)I must add that she was not part of the chatting 4 employees (one of them was the night manager, who did not bother to open a register for me) This is the first time I encounter this pettiness and lack of professionalism. I am not sure if the staff has recently been changed but I will definitely will be going back and will review them again. read more
