I don't typically write reviews but I was absolutely appalled by my experience at the register. Went for a birthday gift and some extra stuff for myself so I began the conversation if they would need to do a separate transaction for a gift receipt on one item, wasn't an issue so we continued. Then of course one of my items didn't have a tag on it, employee had to step aside to price check, didn't see how this would be my fault as I don't stock the shelves. He returned asking if I would need a tag, hesitated as I didn't exactly know what he was asking for and he continued with "in case you need to return it", well when it's put that way yeah I would like a tag made. Had some eyes rolled at me but why would I want to cause issues for myself in the future if I need to return when you guys don't put stickers on them to begin with. Whatever continue on, he's loading up the bags and I've already completed the transaction and I just ensure if he can still print the gift receipt for me as my receipt for the entirety of the transaction as been complete. Just wanted to remind him as he may have gotten side tracked from the price match and bagging up the items, what I get in return is underneath his breath "sometimes I hate people". Never once was I rude, demanding or impatient. I simply asked nicely every-time and just reassuring during the whole transaction, not to mention patient as I was never upset about the fact there was no sticker on one of my products. I understand it's retail but never once have I had an interaction like that, I will not be returning to this store. TJ Maxx and any similar types of stores are always hit or miss as far as what items you find. If you go often enough you will find great deals. This store is always clean and well stocked. Employees are generally helpful here. Parking with Livotis nearby can sometimes be tough (watch out for stray shopping carts). read more

I come in here pretty often and never have a problem. Today I went in and the lady at the register was very rude. She scanned my items and threw them back on the counter and didn't even offer me a bag. Following this she did the same thing with my receipt as well. I get everyone has bad days, but I also work costumer service and know that making the costumer feel good is always the best so that they come back. I wrote a review for this T J Maxx before, but I didn't like what I wrote, so I decided to change my wording. I'm not a big fan of T J Maxx, as I never see anything surprising at least for me. I find every store I've been in, including this one, has limited products, and I can never find any clothes that I like. The store is clean, which is a positive. However, it makes me disappointed, that a store that has a little bit of everything, that there is nothing for me. Big disappointment! I mostly find stuff more at Marshalls and Burlington! read more

If you are a collector of simply gruesome looking clothes, then you may also be in luch here, because they have the ugliest ass womens clothes I've ever seen!! Normally I don't write bad reviews, but felt the need. This store has some great helpful associates. I'm often in this store and have never had a problem, so maybe it was a bad day that Brian, who I'm thinking was the manager on duty was having. He was called to by a passing by employee to please assist a customer at the jewelry counter. He looked up from texting after a minute to see me standing there. I continued to wait for a few minutes as he walked from clothing racks all the time texting on his phone. Then after about 5 min another associate walked by and I asked again, and they also called to Brian. He was too caught up in his phone to respond. After a minute he did yelling to another associate to help in jewelry. She came over promptly and was looking for the key to the cabinet. She called to him more than once asking him if he had it or where it was...He ignored her. She eventually went over to him and guess who had the key? Again maybe just a bad day... but clearly he was not worried about customer service. His employees were much more attentive than he was. read more

"Brand name" discount store which is affiliated with Home goods and Marshall's. This site is neat and organized. My family haven't bought much clothing here, but as far as discounts go, you can get better sales at clothing stores when the are mark downs, plus there will be more inventory. Only come here for clothes if there is no sale for what you want. What's good about shopping here is you'll get more variety of clothing brands and home goods. The home goods is what is great about the store. I've noticed a lot of times the items is priced much less than online,especially the clearance sections. Like many clearance sections, some items may be open box or low in inventory. My wife likes coming here and perusing the home stuff. They restock new items weekly. Also, this store is great for buying chocolate and food gifts as well as inexpensive toys for little kids. So, don't be afraid to come here for simple household items before shopping online or going to Walmart and target. Tjmaxx may save you some dough. read more

Not a great selection anymore. Used to be better. But the worst part is the fitting room attendant. An elderly lady, whose life goal is to boss people around. She was so mean and nasty. She treats you like she is doing you a favor by counting your items. She suspects everyone of stealing. The line to enter the fitting room was huge because of this barely moving person. She was bossing people around like she was the store owner: "You put the items here, You stand there". Very unpleasant. read more

Great deals on back packs for the kids! It's usually hit or miss but got lucky picked up two north face jester backpack for $20.00 got two for he kids. That's like a savings of $25.00 each elsewhere. So this time I lucked out. read more

I don't usually like to write reviews that are negative. I always do very positive. However I was so upset about my experience at this specific Tj Maxx that I have to share so no one else will be inconvenienced the way I was. I had the most unpleasant experience here that I just couldn't seem to forget or understand how they stay in business. Walking up to the store I almost thought they were out of business (other locations I usually love to shop for lotions, picture frames,etc and they are clean, organized, well stocked) this store was empty and messy from first glance through the window looking in. I walk in merchandise is scattered everywhere it looks like half of it is dirty or broken lying on the floor. The floor is so dirty is doesn't look like its been cleaned all year? My contacts started to fog up from the dust as soon as i entered. After browsing I make my way to the register where others are already complaining no one is there to check them out. The poor woman is asking the sales clerk for help or to call someone she responds "someone is coming!!!" yelled at this poor elderly woman. She asks for a manger apparently the manager is coming the manager finally makes time to come and never even addresses the woman and her issue when she is trying to get her attention and just ignores her to her face. So terrible. They were rude to me when I checked out as well. I really just don't get it. Makes what should be a pleasant shopping experience a horrible one. read more
