As if Tivoli doesn't have enough reviews! We'd flown in from the U.S. that morning and were super jet lagged. So after an hour nap (with alarm set), we headed to Tivoli. What a great place to spend 3 hours! It's right across the street from the main train station. (aka København H). We started with pastry and coffee at Cakehagen. Then we wondered all over the park -- our third visit. There was free entertainment at the plænen (lawn?) with singers Kirsten and Søren. It was sing along night with everyone in the audience except us joining in. Kirsten and Søren have been an act for 41 years. Our Danish friend's reaction: "Are they still alive?" We watched the Punch and Judy show at the Peacock Stage. The show has not changed in 150 years. 150 years!! There is a statue to the first actor to play Pierrot. He stuck with it for 50 years. We had excellent Indian food the food hall. Then off for a walk to Amager Plads on the pedestrian street and back to the hotel where we slept dreaming of Pierrot.

I have mixed feelings about Tivoli Gardens. It certainly is iconic and world-renowned. It opened in 1843 and seems to be a favorite childhood memory of every person born in Copenhagen. It's part of the national collective memory of Denmark and is thus a national treasure. It is certainly one of the top tourist attractions in Denmark, but does it deserve to be? After being there, I'm honestly not sure. On the plus side, the flowers are beautiful, as are the colored lights, and the vibe is very retro. On the other hand, if you are going there as a tourist, especially if you don't have kids, the LEAST expensive admission price is $70.45 USD per person! So that's close over $140 for two adults -- and that does NOT include rides. Frankly, you'll probably spend one to two hours there in total. If you have kids, the entrance and ride pass (single entrance, multiple rides) is going to cost you $67 per kid. That's a whole lot of money. With kids, you'll probably be there for two to three hours and spend lots more for food. And by US standards, your older kids are going to find the rides old-fashioned, limited (there aren't very many), and kind of lame (especially if they are expecting a Disney World experience). So you will spend (two adults plus two kids), $275 USD plus the cost of food. Ouch. Want to just eat dinner at one of its restaurants? Sorry, you are going to first have to pay the full admission price per person. My tour package included Tivoli Gardens, so we did enjoy the experience. For Danes, there is the nostalgia factor and I totally get that. But as a tourist attraction, especially for adults, it doesn't deliver $150 worth of value for two people. If I had kids over the age of 8, I would give this place a one or two stars. I rated it a 3 star for adults only because we enjoyed the flowers, lights at sunset and the ambiance. None of that will matter to your kids. There are so many other places in Copenhagen to explore, especially if your time and/or money is tight. Of course, that's only my opinion, but it might be valuable advice.

Cute park. We arrived right when it opened on a Tuesday. The line moved fairly fast, especially for those who already had their tickets. We weren't there to ride rides, but were fairly surprised to see that apparently some don't operate until later in the day. There are lots of lovely trees and flowers, as well as bees and birds. Plenty of green spaces used as hangouts (and for shows), games to play, stores, and a ton of eateries and restaurants. We ended up eating at the food hall, however there were definitely restaurant and snack/drink options around every corner. Rides and restaurants for everyone. It isn't huge and therefore we didn't spend a lot of time, but it was a fun place to check out.

We stayed at Villa Copenhagen hotel which is right across the street from Tivoli, in fact we could see a ride from our room. Founded in 1843, the park and amusement park is the 2nd oldest amusement park in the world. My husband wanted to see it. We bought the pass that gave us the ability to walk around and see the shows, but not ride the rides. You can get an unlimited pass for rides as well. For kids, the rides are great plus for thrill rides, one roller coaster with a small loop, some that dropped you straight down and spun you around. We went in the evening before the sunset, so we could see everything in the light and then when the lights would come on. The pond, gardens and flowers especially the purple hyacinth (never realized how amazing and sweet they smell) were really lovely to walk around on the flat and meandering paths. We had a good time watching others scream on the rides and watched a show. It was a pretty, well maintained, and safe feeling park. What stood out to me was the number of restaurants inside, some quite expensive. This is definitely a place to come and eat. For the Tivoli Food Hall, make sure you get your hand stamped before you exit the park if you want to get back in. Also, you can enter the Food Hall from the street without paying park admission. They had has about 16 places to buy food, and more were reasonably priced than the restaurants inside - more of fast food with limited seating. We got the pasta which was good.

When in Copenhagen, you have to visit Tivoli at least once. We were pleasantly surprised at how well maintained this place is and it is larger than we expected. We enjoyed walking around the gardens and lake area and stumbling across another Mikkelar tasting restaurant on the other side of the lake. Definitely don't miss a ride on the Rutschebanen which is an old school wooden coaster where they have a person who manually applies the brakes during the ride. It's a great ride and no, not as scary as it sounds but definitely a coaster.

When I was little, I loved going to amusement parks and carnivals. I am no longer a child, but the magic and mystery of them every once in awhile can still be triggered in grown up Vivian and tonight, on Xmas evening, I was definitely that little girl again coming to Tivoli. This amusement park has been around since 1843 (wow, that's old) and it is said to have inspired Disney. One of the guide books I read about this place says, "it's all the fun and fantasy minus the tacky junk," and I would wholeheartedly agree. Getting in is much quicker if you purchase a ticket in advancenas you can avoid the purchase line, note that rides are a separate ticket. I literally when I walked thru the main gates kept saying, "wow" and my eyes were bigger than usual. I loved every moment at this park and loved that I came at night and during the holidays as everything was sparkling and twinkling with wonderful holiday lights! You can go on rides, play games, or if you're hungry, so many places to eat. And since it's the holidays, you'll find glogg and aeblesliver at every food stand here. Be forewarned that there are so many people here especially on Xmas but it's well worth the visit, and this is coming from someone that really tries to avoid people when they can. I'm even thinking of coming back once again before I leave duing the daytime to just get another look at this beautiful amusement park! It's just so pretty and fills you with such wonder that even the dark winter Danish gloom sheds a bit when you spend some time here.

Cute Christmas market inside an amusement park. We just chose the basic admissions ticket, and did not pay additional for the rides. It was rainy and wet that day, and we do not have children in our group. The Christmas market had items marked down since we went early Jan/after Christmas. There were warm Christmas wine, and pretzels to enjoy. The Christmas market did not have a lot of selections (probably because we were there after Christmas). The park was small, and an easy stroll!

Now THIS is a Christmas market. NYC does a good job, but Europe is on a whole other level. Even just the lights themselves - there were SO many and they were on almost everything. We came here to feel festive, and it absolutely delivered. We got our entry tickets ahead of time, and the day we went we got in around 4pm (already dark) and didn't have to wait more than 15 minutes to enter. Yes, it was extremely busy, and there were definitely some areas that were hard to navigate, but that's what you sign up for when you come here 2 weeks before Christmas. The stores were fun to walk through and there was plenty of food options for snacking. Given the chill I did not opt for any rides, but many of them were open with significant lines, so that was a slight miss (clearly I like rides) but other than that, no complaints. We did the whole thing in about 3 hours and grabbed dinner at Grøften (separate review forthcoming) before walking back to our hotel.

I ABSOLUTELY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TIVOLI. they have an unlimited ride pass and it's highly worth it. the rides had no lines when we went and they were all fun. they also take pictures which are free to download on the tivoli app! the rides are short but since the lines are short too you can ride them again and again and again.

It touts itself as an inspiration for Disneyland. For what it's worth it's not bad- for about 190DKK, kids 3-7 for 90DKK and unlimited rides for about 150DKK for kids, it's actually pretty decent. No long wait times, bathrooms are clean and plentiful. I enjoyed their garden area and my kids loved the playground. If you have 4 days in Copenhagen, come here for one of them.

Is it worth the hype? Absolutely yes! We visited CPH in May. It was still cold and rainy, but we were able to visit the park on one beautiful sunny day. We spent about 10 hours at the park. We all had a blast. The park is so gorgeous with spectacular and well designed flower arrangement, amazing theme park with all ages rides, and live shows on Fridays. You can find the variety of food at Tivoli food hall and other restaurants located inside the park. There was Tivoli Food Festival at that time, and we liked it a lot. I downloaded a Tivoli app and used during the time we were at the park. Pretty neat and convenient. Staffs at the park are super sweet and friendly. I'd definitely come back to visit Tivoli garden when visiting CPH again.
Tivoli Gardens is absolutely a must-see when visiting Copenhagen. Even if you're not normally a fan of theme parks, this place is something special. It's just as enjoyable to wander through as it is to ride anything. The moment you step inside, you're surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, charming pathways, and incredibly detailed decor that changes with the seasons. Whether it's twinkling lights in winter or vibrant blooms in summer, Tivoli always feels magical. What really surprised me is how many great food options there are inside the park. From casual snacks and pastries to full sit-down restaurants, there's something for everyone. Most of it is genuinely delicious, not just theme-park good. It's easy to spend a few hours strolling, snacking, and taking in the atmosphere. Overall, Tivoli is one of those iconic places that really lives up to the hype. Even if rides aren't your thing, the ambiance alone makes it well worth a visit. read more
Who doesn't want to visit the second oldest amusement park when in the city it's located in? Either way this place did not disappoint. It had a little bit of everything, good food, snacks, parks, rides, relaxing areas etc etc The price isn't crazy either I would definitely recommend coming with time and expecting to relax. The greenery inside can't make you not want to just sit down and relax. And if later on you want to jump On a ride they have that too. read more
A must see when I'm Copenhagen! Is it really a garden or a park/amusement destination? I say both and it's a multi-funtion space. Entertaining and restaurant galore. Lest bit forget the garden where you will see some gorgeous flowers. You could literally spend a full day plus since there are some many things to do. Don't forget the shopping for souvenirs to take back home. I had a wonderful experience being here and it did not disappoint read more

It was our second visit here. First time was in the spring and the flowers were in full bloom. The ground are beautiful to walk around in. This time it was closer to Halloween so lots of pumpkins. We got in with our Copenhagen Card and did not partake in any of the rides. read more

After checking into our hotel & realizing Tivoli Gardens was 2 blocks away we decided to head over to check out the Halloween decorations. We didn't know the park opens at 11 am, but happened to arrive 5 minutes before it opened and noticed people were lined up to get in. I was surprised how quickly we zipped through the line to buy tickets from the box office. There was a different line for people who had purchased tickets in advance. What I appreciated was that they offer one admission price for people who want to enjoy the rides and one for those who are just want to go in & not ride. Disneyland doesn't do that & just rips everyone off equally. As two adults in our mid 40s we didn't spend too much time here. We walked around checking out the festive Halloween decorations and concessions. We noticed a few different places selling hot chocolate but we picked the one that offered marshmallows. We also got a café mocha with Baileys. My husband said that was the best hot chocolate he has had in his life. We were told the cups could be recycled in the park but we opted to keep them as souvenirs. The one rookie mistake we made was not getting stamped to return later in the evening to enjoy another stroll through the park in the dark. read more

Tivoli Gardens is the second oldest (1843) operating amusement park in the world and is said to be the inspiration behind Walt Disney's Disneyland in California. To enter, you'll need to purchase an entrance ticket which gives you access to the beautiful grounds. If you'd like to enjoy the rides, you can choose between the entrance + single ride ticket or an all-rides ticket. NOTE: Be sure to check operating hours and dates, as the park is closed during certain months. I highly recommend visiting Tivoli at night when the park truly comes alive with dazzling lights. If you have to ride one ride, I'd recommend the Rollercoaster / Rutschebanen. Built in 1914, the Rutschebanen is the oldest wooden rollercoaster in the world-- we had so much fun riding this one!! read more

Beautiful, fun park! The history of the park is what really drew me in. Walt Disney used Tivoli as inspiration for Disneyland and I could see the influence every turn I took! We only went on one ride, but I was impressed the line went so quick! The food was delicious, as it is everywhere in Copenhagen. A great spot to just hang out in the gardens and enjoy a beautiful day. Stick around for music shows in the evening! And if you're lucky, you'll catch the fireworks! read more
Tivoli: The place, the say, that inspired Walt Disney to build the magic kingdom. For me, it was old-school amusement park, fun rides that don't threaten your spine, easily walkable, food and music when you need a break. For Therese H., it was a return to her 9-year-old self, when her family spent a day here long ago. Good memories and good times. Thanks, Tivoli. read more
This gorgeous and dreamy amusement park inspired Walt Disney and you can definitely tell. There's something more sincere and pure about this park. Despite it being old, it's actually very clean and well maintained. The glögg and pretzels were delicious! (Ok the salty pretzel was too salty but the dough was soft). My boyfriend and I walked around and didn't go on a single ride because it was below freezing but we still cherished every moment. read more

I am an amusement park enthusiast. We visited during Sankt Hans Aften (St. John's Eve), as part of the country's Midsummer celebrations. It was a beautiful evening, perfect weather. It is organized, clean, and the grounds did not feel too busy for being a holiday. I got the unlimited ride wristband which is worth it instead of paying per ride. We grabbed quick dinner at Gasoline Grill but they have so many adorable areas to just sit and people watch. And more formal dining options. They do close a lot earlier than I would have liked. The grounds are beautiful so you can do an entrance pass only and take a stroll. Or you can pay per ride if you wish. I got the entrance pass AND the ride pass wristband for about $420DKK. Worth it. read more

Tivoli Gardens is an absolute must see, especially during the Christmas season. The entire park is lit up beautifully, making it an absolute magical experience. Even if you forgo the rides, just walking around and taking in the views in breathtaking. There are numerous sit down restaurants and take out stands that offer a wonderful selection of food and drink. Romantic for a couple, family friendly and great for groups. There is so much to explore and take in. Hands down a must see when in Copenhagen! read more
Be warned, this is a small amusement park, don't think Disney, don't think Orlando, from what I know this is where Walt Disney drafted his idea for Disneyland in LA, with that being said and expectations managed it is beautiful, and we had a great time, you can buy a pass just to get in and look at the beautiful gardens and lights, or you can get a pass to go on the rides as well, it's one of the most popular things to do in Copenhagen according to TripAdvisor, however, I would not probably come back here if I'm back in town. read more

What a fabulous establishment. Perfect for a solo or family time. We went as a family and throughly enjoyed it. It was perfectly crisp evening we opted to go around 6 pm and stayed until close as we wanted to see it lit up. You can buy a pass for entrance or entrance and rides. So even without the rides it's such a gorgeous place to walk around with beautiful gardens and old style rides to look at. There are such super high end restaurants with gorgeous patios serving amazing foods. There are also mid to low tier food options. I got a ride pass for my 6 year old she enjoyed it but not many options for her age/size. Very clean and easy to manage park. Highly recommend if you are visiting Copenhagen. Super lively especially in the evening even though we went on a Monday night. There is a parking garage very close by. Do check their pricing on their website prior to going. Definitely a must check when here. read more

This is the Number 1 place to go in Denmark. It has been around since 1836. This historic amusement park is easy to get to. It is a great experience to go to if you if you like any type of fun. There are games like an arcade (non electronic). There are some fun and no jerky rollercoasters . There is a cool aquarium with so many fish and pirañas. If you like Disney land or world you will love this. Though you might be like "I can just go to Disney then" you can but this is in Denmark and has festivals on Christmas and you should come then. For what you pay it is far more than worth it. If you like a fun and chill day you should come to Tivoli. Copenhagen,Denmark 27 sq miles (google says) Book your tickets now read more
If you only have one day in Copenhagen and are debating what to do, go to Tivoli! It is much more than an average, overpriced, amusement park. Tivoli has a significant history in Copenhagen and features the 3rd oldest roller Coaster in the world, which was partially destroyed during World War II and rebuilt in 25 days. It has a tremendous selection of excellent restaurants, little shops selling handmade goods, rides, and shows. October feaututes Halloween special activities like pumpkin carving and my favorite- haunted houses for an additional fee. If you are deciding between Villa Vendetta and the Haunted House, go villa vendetta! Much scarier and longer. There are crowds, and there aren't any types of "fast passes" you'd see in some US parks - meaning you wait in line. The longest I waited was 1 hour on a relatively crowded (school holiday) Tuesday. Tivoli prioritizes ride safety and etiquette over speed. For example, Prior to the demon rollercoaster, the ride attendants held up "stop" signs until all the previous riders had gathered their belongings and departed. I appreciated this. Great way to spend the day. I needed the full day to do and see as much as possible. read more
I think the best time to visit Tivoli is during the Holidays (Christmas in Tivoli from mid Nov to early Jan.) So fitting this was my first time inside the park although I've passed by countless times over the years. Met some friends and we walked the park while enjoying the lights and decorations. Some took advantage of the rides (I.e Roller Coaster, Haunted House to name a few). An abundant amount of food stalls and shops. We got some Glogg spiked with Whisky which was perfect given the chilly winter air. Lunch was at Wagamama which is right next door. Our fried pancakes paired with Hot chocolate were delicious! The Peacocks were out and surprisingly calm as some visitors got very close. Founded in 1843 -Hans Christian Andersen and Walt Disney have visited for inspiration. Magical park with beautiful gardens, ponds, charming shops and a mix of new and vintage. A must stop when visiting CPH! read more
For those who love amusement parks, try this one. Personally We are not big into rides anymore. We will watch others be scared out of their wits but we didn't need that. For the admission you have a choice of entry, entry with rides or a season pass. We got the entry tickets and enjoyed our walk about. I see where many of the Epcot ideas came from. You'll see pagodas, Matterhorn, Taj Mahal and many more iconic spots. A feast for the eyes. Loads of places to eat and rest. The grounds are quite large so make sure to wear walking shoes. Free WiFi. read more

Alright, all roads lead to Tivoli. An amusement park right in the middle of the city. There are two entrances. One across the street from the train station. The other around the corner. Didn't know it until I got to the ticket window, but there are tickets for entry only and/or rides. I purchased the unlimited rides and the "scary house?" Yes, I want to see that! In hindsight, if I had known there were so many restaurants within Tivoli to dine at, I would have just purchased a season ticket, so I could come and go the entire time I was in town. Parents, if you have children, you definitely need to bring them here. As an adult, I had fun. Rode most of the rides. Twice even. They take pictures of you when you're on the rides, so if you download the app, you can take a picture of the QR code and download the pictures. Free Wi-Fi in the amusement park. Not going to lie, a couple of the rides looked too scary. The Star Flyer and The Golden Tower. Proud of the fact I rode The Demon. Can't go on the ride with any loose objects. What does that tell you. Again, didn't know until I was inside, but Villa Vendetta (scary house) didn't open until later in the evening. Totally worth it. It was scary. Didn't think it would be as scary as the guy at the door warned when giving his instructions. Don't want to spoil the fun, but let me tell you, once inside, I could not turn around to even look to see what the heck was happening. And the two grown men who exited before me were just as shook, if not more. read more
I visited Tivoli on a very beautiful day as it was my first time in Denmark and first time here and it did not disappoint. Considering this is one of the top 3 oldest amusement parks in the world, it has both a historic and yet modern feel to it. Although it is geared more towards young kids, I still had fun wandering around sampling food and taking in the sights. The place is carefully landscaped with alluring, blooming and colorful flowers and benches to relax and rest. At night, it is wonderfully lit up just like a Hans Christian Andersen fairytale. There are many places to grab a bite to eat with various types of food. All the workers that I spoke to were very friendly and seemed to enjoy working there. I stayed at a hotel within a few blocks so it was convenient. I ended up visiting in the daytime for few hours and got my hand stamped and returned to see the park at night. Tivoli is easily located a few minutes walking from Central Station. read more
Tivoli Gardens is the #1 attraction in Copenhagen for a reason. Forget the kitschy rides - this may have been Walt Disney's inspiration for his behemoth creation in the U.S., but unlike the U.S. knockoff, Tivoli's charm is in its wondering lanes and small shops that dot the park. The park changes themes quarterly and we were fortunate to visit during their Christmas festival, which is nothing short of magical. Grab dinner before entering the park at the Tivoli food court, which offers everything from traditional Danish fare to Mexican and Asian options. Sit-down restaurants are available in the park, but I would suggest dining in the Food Hall and tasting all manner of different sweets as you explore the park. read more

I spent a whole day here going on rides and eating out. Also there is a Celtic jewelry shop that I love. I highly recommend to come here. read more
"Life itself is the most wonderful fairy tale - Hans Christian Andersen Tivoli Gardens, also known simply as "Tivoli", is an amusement park in København, Denmark. The park opened in the summer of 1843 and is the third-oldest operating amusement park in the world. After the historic Dyrehavsbakken in nearby Klampenborg, also in Denmark, and Wurstelprater in Vienna, Austria. In Spring of 2022 while working on assignments in Europe, I decided to also take my European vacation, and for all you Americans... Europeans have one month vacations - just saying :D København, Denmark was my last stop before I flew back to America. And even tho it was Springtime in Scandinavia... morning temps still dipped in the 30's F with the chill from the North Sea ever present! How can I rate something I didn't get the chance to experience? No, I didn't get in! Yet, here I am after walking two miles to Den lille Havfrue in the cold, past a Royal Palace, mingling with the hundreds of locals with Viking lineage. Here I am at the gate to historic Tivoli Gardens with a sign in Danish that reads "Lukket". Closed as in I'm too early in the year or how about I'm just a few days early :( In summer, the Tivoli Gardens is open every day, including Sundays and holidays, from 08 April to 25 September. From Sunday to Thursday, it is open from 11:00 to 23:00. Friday & Saturday, to midnight. Of course I'm a few days early and flying out in the morn! Still with Hans Christian Andersen curiosity I decide to loop around the historic Amusement Park and take photos while admiring all the history just a gate away. To imagine this Scandinavian attraction is nearing two-hundred years old is astonishing! Sadly, I couldn't paint my Instagram feed with Danish Surrealism... In the end, even with my disappointment that Tivoli was closed on my visit, I couldn't help envisioning Hans Christian Andersen getting inspiration from such a unique place on earth. Just a reminder that Walt Disney certainly did! Then again Den lille Havfrue aka Little Mermaid story was written over a decade earlier, so maybe the magic is living the Fairy Tale... read more

Tivoli Gardens is a fun small amusement park. What sets this place apart from others is the beautiful gardens that you get to enjoy as you go from ride to ride. It's also really cool when you ride the rides that go really high and you get to see Copenhagen all around you. It also is what inspired Disneyland so it has a fun historical aspect to the park. If you're in the area, this is definitely worth checking out. We went when it was raining, which was really cool because all of the rides were operating and the lines were incredibly short. read more
Tivoli is a MUST when you're in Copenhagen. It is one of the oldest amusement parks in the world (1843) and it inspired Walt Disney. Entrance is 145dkk and and the ride pass was 245dkk. It's not too big, but I found the place charming. We spent about half the day there. List of rides I went on (for my records): Astronomer, Classic Carousel, Fatamorgana- Wild Ride, Flying Trunk, Mine, Roller Coaster, & Swing Carousal read more

I was in Tivoli this summer, to re-live childhood memories... That was such a disappointment! First of all, it's WAY to expensive to get in. 95 kr. / 15 USD. That crazy price gives you access to... Nothing!! Just the entry! No amusements, no drinks, no food - just entry to look at all the other expensive stuff. The rides they have in Tivoli is small and over fast. And they are ridiculously expensive too! You can pay up to 40 kr for just one ride at three minutes. I didn't even try any, just looked at others, and they all looked pretty tame anyway. Tivoli was once a nice place, but corporate greed has changed that. They keep increasing their prices, and giving nothing in return. Their latest strategic move has confirmed that, they now act as a cheap advertisement space for fur-products, from the company Kopenhagen Fur who deals with very shady profit-hungry animal farms where animals are being mistreated. I was in Tivoli at a very sunny day, and that could be the reason, but another thing I found is that they let way too many people in the park. It was so full it felt stuffy and smelled sweaty. Don't support Tivoli - go to Bakken instead! A free entry amusement park, better rides, more "hygge" in it's in the middle of a forrest! read more

Once upon a time, there was a small garden in a small city called Copenhagen. Even though this city was located in a very small country by the name of Denmark, it was soon famous around the world for it's unique and adventurous atmosphere. Unfortunately that was a long time ago... Today Tivoli is like a dark polluted skeleton of the past, filled with noise, pollution and bad attitudes. By bad attitudes I mean GREED. This beauty of the past has become a great big MONEY MACHINE. This is not just reflected by the lower quaity vs MUCH higher prices for everything inside the garden, but also by the latest deal between Tivoli and COPENHAGEN FUR. In other words: Tivoli has made a deal with this cruel, greedy company - earning billions on extreme animal cruelty. This fur is going to be everywhere inside the garden for XMAS 2012 - and also everywhere inside Tivolis hotel. If you are not into greedy superficial TOURIST TRAPS or EXTREME ANIMAL CRUELTY, please don't waste your money in Tivoli. Copenhagen has so much more to offer! Thank you. read more

Visiting Tivoli Gardens was an unforgettable experience! We tried the Haunted House, and it was so worth it--a perfect mix of thrills and fun. Knowing that Tivoli inspired Walt Disney to create Disneyland, I can absolutely see why. Having been to both, Tivoli stands out with its futuristic yet nostalgic charm, sparking imagination in kids and adults alike. Offering a variety of rides, delicious food vendors, and a cozy atmosphere, it's easy to spend an entire day here. I highly recommend visiting at Christmas to experience the enchanting Christmas market, which adds to the park's charm. Even if rides aren't your thing, a basic entry ticket lets you wander through the beautifully designed park and enjoy it's ambiance. Tivoli's central location makes it easy to explore nearby attractions, and the friendly staff make the visit even more enjoyable. Make sure to check out the shops selling licorice, it's a local specialty and a must-try for fans Looking forward to going back one day. read more

Tivoli Gardens cooperate with the controversial (to say the least) company Kopenhagen Fur and thus support the extremely cruel Danish fur industry whose greatest turnover comes from mink and fox furs - both animals have long been known to suffer extensively by being held ind gages - this doe's not bother Kopenhagen Fur. When Tivolis Facebook fans then wrote about their disdain for the cooperation on the gardens' Facebook page the respons from Tivolis communications department was to make new "house rules" about what's all right to write on the Tivoli Facebook page. Some might call that censorship - Tivoli calls it "Closing the discussion". As a part of the cooperation Tivoli had planned to "wrap" the famous Hotel Nimb in fur menaing all pillows furniture, walls coffe pots - you name it. Don't visit Tivoli gardens i Copenhagen.... They have proven that they have no morals. read more

Tivoli is a family amusement park. There is a coalition between Tivoli and Copenhagen Fur for the next three years! Copenhagen Fur is one of the largest distributers of animal fur in the world. Copenhagen Fur distributes fur from all over the world. Fur animals are suffering from stress and neglect, in small cages every day of their lives. Animal abuse should't go hand in hand with family amusement. If you agree, please help protest against animal abuse. Please boycut Tivoli. read more

Wir waren auch dort. Aber nur 10 min. DENN! Wenn man keine 27 Euro hätte bezahlen müssen , wäre meine Bewertung besser! read more

I had so much fun at Tivoli Gardens! The property is beautifully maintained, and the history shines through in every corner, adding so much charm to the experience. The atmosphere is magical, and the attention to detail makes it truly top-notch. Disney could definitely take notes from Tivoli Gardens on how to prioritize people over profit. This is a must-visit destination that leaves you feeling delighted and inspired! read more

Tivoli is okay, but for me they are loosing the magic to capitalism. When in there I feel there is more focus on getting money from me, then trying to give me a magical experience, which I think it should be able to do. That being said there are a lot of fun rides. The rollercoasters are fun and the game with the horses is always a hit :) read more

In this day and age, Tivoli has chosen to cooperate with someone as controversial as a fur business....and with the excuse that said fur business is in compliance with all laws tries to argue that such a thing is OK. Distasteful and unnecessary - and not a place for me or my family to spend our discretionary entertainment money. read more

Ich fand den Tivoli einfach toll. Ein Freizeitpark mitten in der Stadt und mit schönem Ausblick? Was gibts besseres.
