I dropped off my Rolex Submariner on Friday, October 12 with Annie for a repair. I received a call late Friday that the watch was ready which far exceeded my expectations. I stopped by the store Saturday morning and Denise handled the delivery. She pleasantly surprised me with a no charge repair. Thanks to both Annie and Denise for the amazing service. Brad read more

A.J. is the Ultimate professional and so much fun to work with for the best choices in beautiful, timeless pieces of jewelry.

Visited to inquire about a custom engagement ring, the sales associate asked to take my information and said they would reach out the following week and they never followed up. read more

Stopped in to look at necklaces for my mom for Christmas, Percy was amazing and we found. The perfect gift!

Kailey was absolutely wonderful in assisting us. I was searching for something special for my soon to be fiancé, who originally had his heart set on an engagement ring. I suggested exploring the idea of a watch instead, and Kailey graciously guided us through a variety of options. Her patience, professionalism, and genuine kindness made the experience truly enjoyable. She helped him find the perfect timepiece, and we're so grateful for her thoughtful support. Thank you, Kailey! read more

I visited Kailey Young at Tivol in Leawood, with a repair for a ring. Kailey was friendly, kind and professional. She knew what just to do and texted me when the repair was done, ahead of schedule, I might note. Thank you to Tivol and Kailey for exceptional service. read more

Scott waited on me to have my 45 year old engagement ring reset after it had been damaged. First class, very professional customer service. So impressive! read more

I went to Tivol with very precious rings that I wanted to repurpose. Both of my parent have passed away, and their beautiful rings were just sitting in my jewelry box. I brought them all to Tivol with a vision in mind. This is when I met Kailey. She and the jewelry designer worked with me to sketch the necklace that I envisioned. We used my mother's solitaire diamond from her engagement ring, an anniversary ring of baguette diamonds, and assorted diamonds from my dad's pinky rings to make a show stopping necklace that I treasure. Kailey was kind and patience throughout the entire process. She knew that making this necklace meant so much to me. I highly recommend Tivol and Kailey for all of your jewelry needs! read more

I am a repeat customer and still feel like a number here and have no plans to go back. The woman that sold us a high-end watch a few months ago was in the store and didn't even acknowledge us. We purchased an item at Tivol this week, but while I was considering it, Camilla actually said to me that she's shown the piece to multiple people and no one had seemed interested in it. Just wow! She seemed completely unfamiliar with current trends and insulting in the process. Also, she has very limited knowledge of other high-end jewelry designers and did not listen well to what I like or remember what I told her. The final straw was when she said to my husband "oh, now you can try on that item your wife was looking at for you." She could have ruined it! Fortunately, I had already purchased his gift (and other items days earlier) from Karats Jewelers where they know me when I walk in the door, and the owner, Andy, greets me with a hug and asks about how I'm doing. (I ended up buying a more expensive piece for him than what she was showing me.) Camilla kept trying to steer me towards Lagos, which honestly, they sometimes sell at Costco and I have absolutely no interest in and I told her that more than once. Instead of being excited about our new purchase, I left there feeling upset and frustrated. read more

I have been buying jewelry from Tivol for at least 20 years. I started when I was working as a nurse a few blocks away and decided to go in. I was afraid I couldn't afford the jewelry or that I wasn't dressed in fine enough clothes but that feeling quickly fell away when I walked in. The sales people were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. I found a ring in my price range and I've been going back ever since. I've also introduced my sister and daughter to the store and they love their jewelry pieces also. When shopping for jewelry at Tivol, I started being helped by Denise Baker many years ago and her customer service is outstanding. In fact, after working with her, when I go to other stores, I have been spoiled by the customer service at Tivol and especially Denise. I am disappointed at other stores because I am always comparing it to the high standards set by Tivol. I've always loved jewelry but the quality and high level of customer service at Tivol....I'll never buy jewelry anywhere else. Sometimes I just like to go there to sit and have a glass or wine or champagne and enjoy the staff and the atmosphere. Five stars is not enough. I'd give them 10 s! Love the store, the jewelry store, and all the folks working there. read more

See all

Had a really interesting experience Saturday. My husband came in a week ago to get his Omega sized. Called before hand and was told that they didn't charge. When my husband came in a week ago they sized it down a whole link. Too small after a week. ( he didn't get charged a week ago ) We walked in Saturday with all the links. My husband told the sales person that he wanted to put in the half link and she told us that was no such thing. Awkwardly we said yes we have the half link. After that she walked off with the watch to get sized for a eternity. I just don't think the atmosphere is very happy in this business. I hope things get better for you all. $16 later and tons of weirdness. We will now take our business to NKC as we have always been treated very pleasant at that business. read more

Great service and AJ is always a pleasure to work with! Highly recommend Tivol. I would recommend her to anyone to find the right watch as she did for me. I would give more stars if I could. Thanks again and I love the new watch she recently found for me. read more

I always buy my jewelry at Tivol. They have an excellent selection, the store is upscale, and my sales associate, Scott Lillibridge at Hawthorn Plaza was excellent to work with. He helped with selections and never rushed me. The ambiance in the store is perfect read more

My fiancee's family is from Kansas City - his mom recommended Tivol and I am so glad she did. We got my Scott Kay engagement ring and wedding band here! I think we'll also be back for my dude's ring too. We currently live in Chicago. We'd visited 3 jewelers in Chicago and looked online and hadn't found exactly what we were looking for. Plus we already had a diamond - lots of places don't set other people's stones. We went to both Tivol locations: this one and the Plaza. Both had great selections and great, NOT-PUSHY service. Tami Noon rocks my socks! She was totally flexible and helped us get our diamond set while we were in town on a pretty short timescale. read more

I went to the Tivol location in Leawood and needed a link added to my Cartier Pasha watch. I purchased the watch there many years ago. The salesman tried to look my name up and the watch didn't show up. I have purchased a few thing there in the past. I also had them check to see if it was under my sisters name and more items show up but no watch. I was hoping since my family has purchased numerous things in the past at Tivol I would get some kind of loyalty from them. Well that didn't happen! I was charged $20 for the adjustment and sent on my way. What has happened with courtesy. She looked up my family's purchase history and at least a dozen things came up but no Cartier pasha. I hoped my loyalty was enough to help me out but I guess I was wrong!! I will never go there again!!!! read more

I'm posting this review for my sweet father. He recently purchased a beautiful diamond for my mother on their 50th wedding anniversary:) Carly, Thank you for all your help, expertise, and professionalism during our shopping experience at Tivol's earlier this week. You made a special time for my wife even more special, and you took a lot of pressure off me. I'm sorry I'm so technically challenged that I can't go online and rate you and the company you work for. Whatever the maximum number of stars there are, believe me that is what I would rate you. My wife and I hope your employers realize what an asset you are to a great store. Thank you again. C.B. Thank you, Karly and Tivol! Twenty four years ago I took a two carat diamond to Tivol's and purchased a gorgeous setting with special laser set diamonds on the shoulder of the ring and sapphires. Well, age and gravity required that I have the ring enlarged a size. No jewelers here in Texas where I now live, wanted to size the ring. Too risky. Couldn't guarantee the side diamonds wouldn't pop out and so on. Well I went to Kansas on family business and took the ring to Tivol's to see if they would try to size the ring. My salesperson Karly was so positive and agreeable. They sized the ring with no problem and mailed it to me in Texas in ten days. It looks better than ever and the alteration was reasonably priced. Thank you, Tivol's. Superb service and skill as always. Fan in Texas. read more

Be very wary of all the positive reviews. I have been trying to purchase a Rolex from Tivol for 3-4 years now. Let me state that I own several Rolex's and understand the demand. They pressure you to post positive reviews with promises that it will help your wait time on a Rolex.... it wont. I suspect that is what a lot of these reviews stem from. The sales people are not helpfully. I was working through the Plaza store and then also Meierotto. I played the game with both of them. I can tell you hands down Meierotto was a much better experience. I was able to secure a GMT within a 12-18 months without purchasing anything additional. I was in the market for some high end jewelry for my wife and decided to wait to reward whichever store came through first. Made my purchase and rewarded Meierotto with the items for my wife. Had Tivol cared and dont more I would have been happy to purchase through them. If you are in the market for anything jewelry related DO NOT GO TO TIVOL! They need to treat customers wants better. If they did they would earn my business, but now they wont ever. read more

The best in customer service! I took a ring I had made elsewhere to them. It was badly flattened. I asked what the charge is to reround it. Mind you, I had been to another store and they said 24.95 and would need it until after New Years day. The salesman said no charge and would need 5 minutes. I shopped and found a great pair of earrings for my wife while I waited. He brought my ring out perfectly repaired. He said it was amazing that my finger wasn't broken as well! I got a great price on the earrings! Some say that Tivol is Kansas City's Tiffany...I say Tiffany's is New York's Tivol! read more

My only previous purchases at a jewelry store were at Tiffany & CO on the plaza. I was able to get what I wanted there, and the experience was fine but nothing like the overall experience my wife and I had over the course of several visits at this Tivol in Leawood. We'd never been here before and thankfully we were truly blessed to have Tami be the one to work with us. She listened so well to what my wife wanted, and kept patiently generating new ideas helping us to hone in on what we ultimately decided on. I think we'd still be looking if it weren't for Tami... I wish all our big purchases would go this smoothly and we'd get to work with someone like her each time. A wonderful experience from start to finish and we'll never go anywhere else again. Thank you... read more

There is no better jewelry store in Kansas City, particularly the Hawthorne store. We are always treated with courtesy and never rushed. It doesn't matter what amount you are spending. I made the mistake of purchasing something at another store. Never again!!! It was a terrible experience. Tivol is the only store for our family. read more

I absolutely cannot tell you how thrilled I am to have worked with Tivol. When my fiancé proposed to me, I was absolutely floored that the ring was my grandmother's, and I have Tivol to thank for it's rejuvenation. My grandmother's original wedding ring was silver, but she had the stones taken out in the seventies to place in a gold band. However the original wedding ring stayed in her jewelry box. When she passed away, I came across it, and my parents refurbished the ring, but it still was nothing special, and was without a real diamond. Tivol was able to restore an old ring that I thought was beyond repair. I thought it was too damaged. I had to look twice to see that it was in fact my grandmother's ring! They took something so precious with sentimental value and took care of it as if it was their own. They have been nothing but courteous, respectful, and welcoming. They helped my fiancé find the perfect diamond to fit in that engagement ring to bring it back to its original glory. I know I will be working with them again to have a wedding band made. If you are looking for the best of the best, Tivol is the place. Buying a ring can be a daunting task. It's not something you do very often, and it can be intimidating when you're on a fixed budget. I promise you, whether your budget be small or large, your experience will be priceless. You will be treated with the best customer service and kindness, and will walk away with something absolutely special. Absolutely wonderful! Can't say enough! read more

Tivol, I feel, is a part of our family. Now let me explain why... My husband and I have been going to Tivol for approximately 22 years. My husbands wedding band was the first item we purchased at the Country Club Plaza store. But is was when my engagement ring was stolen out of our home that this store became our one and only place to purchase jewelry. This jewelry store is so much more than the gorgeous jewelry in it's cases. It's the wonderful people behind those jewelry cases who truly care. The Tivol staff worked tirelessly to find the perfect piece (in our price range with no push to spend more) to fill the void left in my heart from the loss of my ring. I ended up leaving with a new engagement ring that was so beautiful and high quality that I never missed my first ring after that time. Now let me take you to the Hawthorne Store to meet Tami Noon Mahaney. We've worked with Tami for approximately 10 years now and she is the absolute best in this industry! First, she is extremely knowledgeable about the items she sells and she takes the time to educate you on every aspect of the piece. She understands how to help you find a perfect balance in a piece that is not only beautiful but one that will retain its value over time. Second, she absolutely remembers you! When she knows you are coming in, she'll find items that are perfectly matched to your taste, style, and budget. She thinks out of the box to help you find and create a piece of jewelry that you've only dreamed about! (Trust me she's done this many times for me!) Lastly, she is one of the kindest people I've met in a long time. She truly listens and cares about your happiness and works endlessly to get your needs met. Because of the above information, my family and I will only shop at Tivol. My mother, mother in law and I have all purchased our wedding sets from this wonderful store. This store has played a huge part in my family's happiness. It's truly part of our family and you'll be thrilled if you make it part of yours!! read more
