I have this on video. Initially a great experience, timely and "cheap" repair of a 14k necklace along with a watch battery replacement. Paid $60 for both and went on my way very pleased with the service. Unfortunately, the new jump ring from the replacement clasp snagged and I noticed the chain had disconnected but the engraved pendant had already fallen off into a grassy area. After contacting him know of the incident, he offered to look at the break and see if it could be fixed or refunded as discussed in the attached texts. Upon inspection today, we both agreed it was not NECESSARILY a fault of the repair but I still hoped to have the chain repaired with 14k gold clasp. I mentioned that I had requested this initially and he got angry. I requested a refund again and he handed me the necklace back refusing because "I didn't have a receipt" - despite him asking me to bring it in over text. That is still all fine - uncomfortable and irritating but I was fine with leaving and cutting my losses UNTIL he followed me out of the store calling me a "cheap *****", flipping the middle finger (pictured), and threatening to sue me. For what? I'm not sure. I am a young woman with self-respect and refuse to be screamed at by anyone especially not someone offering ME a service. He only changed his tone and backed away from me once I started recording him - but his grandson or nephew took a photo of my license plate as I got in my car. I have a husband who likes to buy me jewelry and once we found Mazzerese, we no longer buy jewelry from any other store. We were living on the east coast for several years and Mazzerese was still our jewelry store. We've gone to Mazzarese for more than 20 years. When we wanted our wedding rings designed, we were referred to Mazzarese. We told Mr Mazzarese what we wanted and needed for the type of work we do. My husband and I wanted unique rings.
