First I asked if we could waive the fee if I still used him to do the work after the lid is removed by someone else. He declined to do so. Then I asked for an invoice for the fee before I paid it, he told me they aren't able to provide invoices -- "we only bill." After refusing to pay until I received an invoice, he called me a liar and threatened to place a lien on my property. After explaining to him I would not be paying without a written invoice (he wanted me to hand him cash), he called his assistant, and she emailed me an invoice within minutes. As soon as I received the invoice, I wrote him a check. He then accused me of planning to cancel the check. At that point, I told him to leave my property. Despite telling him repeatedly to leave, but he didn't make any effort to move toward his truck until I told him he was trespassing. I recommend no one ever use Payless Septic Service.

Long story short the first guy showed up twice and didn't know what he was doing. I later found out he was new and shouldn't have been on his own. Whatever, no big deal as long as they fix it. Took about a week from the time I called till they fixed it. Sure enough a couple weeks later the pipe is clogged and I asked if they could do anything for me. The owner spoke to me explaining I'll have to pay the $185 again and they will send their most experienced tech. That was supposed to happen Thursday and today is Tuesday, haven't heard anything from them nor do I expect to. I rented an auger from sunbelt and fixed it myself for less than $60

I was quoted $1700 for them to dig a large hole in the yard to replace the hydrant. I declined that and was charged $200 for them just to show up. Had I known that they would be charging $200 for a FN quote, I would have never had my wife call them ( my bad for not listening to her while I was busy). I wrapped a tarp around the hydrant to drain into a hose and then went on vacation and replaced it myself when I got back for an additional $200. This was last summer. I was weeding around this today and was reminded of the bull crap quote this guy was trying to push.
