Just tried this place out today with my kids & we all loved it! We only tried 2 things so far, so we definitely plan to go back and try more for sure. I got a small mango & strawberry fruit cup (chamoy and tajin on the side since I was sharing with a toddler. Their chamoy is from Mexico & delicious!) oh and the small size is a goooood sized small! You can actually get up to 4 fruits in the 16oz that I got. My son had a cookies & cream milk shake which was blended to perfection. NGL it was better than chick fil a's & DQ. The inside is decorated nicely & is super clean. We luckily got there when there was no wait, around lunchtime. Highly recommend this place!! Can't wait to try more like the chamoyada, nachos, fresas con crema, & Tostitos preparados! Everything Just sounds sooo good. read more

A friend wanted to meet for lunch so I searched hot and new on Yelp and Tito's popped up close to him. They only have snacks... no meal just like the name. So we went to 6 Klicks next door and then came by for dessert. We saw that they had specials Mon-Fri... Friday was paleta day so we asked about it and the cashier confirmed that it was $1 paletas or you can get the Paletas Locas for 20% off. 2 went for the Locas, one went for the plain. The paletas themselves were great, solid, icy, flavorful ... not soft, not creamy, not like a sherbet... a solid popsicle. For the Locas they laid down the paleta on a paper boat. Sprinkled little nuggets of tamarind candy (no pits). Draped a twisted rainbow sour ribbon. Then a zig-zagged drizzle of chamoy. I got the pineapple paleta and it was amazing. What I found really entertaining was that the tamarind that stayed on the popsicle was hard and toothsome. But the tamarind that fell into the paper boat was soft and chewy. Other than that... chamoy and pineapple... can't really go wrong ^.^' I was too full for the other menu items I want to try... a Sinaloa style snack & preparados with potato chips. So glad to have found another snack place! The aguas frescas are delicious, between the watermelon and pineapple my favorite was the pineapple! So delicious and refreshing! Hot Cheetos and cheese, can't get that wrong lol. The tostilotes were good and I like that they use white corn however the corn was just a little too watery for my liking. This place was amazing!! Everything we got was delicious my boys got strawberry smoothies that were amazing and fresh to taste. My husband and I tried the corn on the cup to share with the white corn and it was oh so good. Husband got the watermelon agua Fresca which was also fresh and the perfect sweet. My family has decided to do a Corn in a Cup super review of competing business in Helotes. So far, I have to say this business knocked my socks off on the Yellow corn in a cup. I can't say that so far I've ever had anything close unless I was at the coast. The yellow corn in a cup is just the right amount of citrus. Just the right amount of silky. Frankly, we consider it decadent, smooth and delightful. If guilty pleasures are bad for you, this one is worth the cost. 5 stars for the yellow corn in a cup! read more

I love Tito's! The people are So nice and can accommodate almost any request. I always get the mangonada or fresenada which are delicious, full of fresh fruit, yummy chamoy,and a tamarind stick to top them off! I also got the "manzana loca" - that's a whole sliced apple wrapped in tamarind with chamoy and other delicious candies and the Japanese peanuts all sprinkled on top. I'm looking forward to trying some of the other deliciousness!! read more

We were so glad to see that we were getting a place like this in helotes. My family and I had been agreeing that we needed a Fruteria like snack bar here for a while, and even considered opening one ourselves. My boyfriend and I went a few weeks back, I got the manzana loco and a limeada, both were so delicious!! I will definitely be going back. They give you a good portion, definitely aren't stingy with it. He got the elote and loved it as well. Great job all together! read more

I had a mangonada and a corn in a cup. The mangonada had a great balance of chamoy and mango; the chamoy was also excellent! It was sweet with a nice bite. The corn in a cup was the best I've ever had. I could eat a gallon of it. I'll definitely be grabbing snacks here regularly. read more

Best place in Helotes to get snacks. The employees are always friendly and they greet you with a smile. Worst part is the seemingly non-stop road construction on Bandera Road in Helotes. The traffic in Helotes is a horrible nightmare. The owners of this snack place need to complain. I would guess that it is hurting their business. read more

Didn't have the pleasure of stepping into Tito's but was told how exceptionally clean it was by my family. You can't say that for about 90% of the fruiterias out there. The menu is chock-full of delicious sounding dishes and boba drinks, but I opted for two of their ready to go empanadas. I had the Beef & Cheese, and the Chicken Salteña Empanadas. Both were super yummy and neither the beef nor chicken was dry inside. The fillings were savory, the Beef & Cheese amazingly creamy, and the Chicken Salteña a good blend of spices. The raisins in the Salteña did throw me off for a moment as I didn't think they worked all too well with the rest of the texture of the filling, but it didn't detract too much from the empanada. The dipping sauce that they came with was so tasty and flavorful as well! I was only able to finish half of each empanada because they were so big, but the server was kind enough to give me extra sauce with my to-go box. It added another layer of tastiness to the experience! EDA is a little out of the way for me so I'm not able to go as much as I'd like, but I know I'll be stopping in to snag an empanada or a boba tea when I'm in the area. Our son lives in Houston and Argentinian empanadas are much more common there, so I can't wait to bring him here the next time he is in town.

This lovely restaurant opened a few weeks ago and because my mom works next door, after karate we stoped bye and grabbed a smoothie. I got a half mango half strawberry smoothie witch is not on the menu but the workers were nice enough to give me half and half. I have gone there 3 times so far and has never seemed to disappoint me. Its real mexican food and is mexican owned. The worker even remembers my name so it felt like family. I highly recommend this place!! read more

She goes there frequently with her ladies' book club for breakfast. I had never been before, but found myself suddenly wanting Mexican food. The place was pretty busy. Afterall, it was a Saturday. I took the last space available in the parking lot, and anticipated a long wait for a table. Fortunately for us, they took us to a HUGE corner booth. It was large enough for at least six adults to scoot around and sit. I was surprised considering how busy they were, but I'm not in charge of table assignments. When I looked at the menu, my eyes went directly to a plate that had my choice of two enchiladas accomapnied by my choice of a chalupa, crispy taco, fajitas, or puffy taco. Each of those had choices like chicken or beef. I also had a choice of refried beans or borracho beans. I opted for two beef enchiladas, a beef puffy taco, and refried beans. The server put my steaming hot plate in front of me along with a separate plate for the puffy taco and a container of tortillas. It was an amazing amount of food. Now, if you know me, you know I evaluate Mexican restaurants on their rice, beans, and tortillas. Mia's rice was some of the best I have ever had. The texture was perfect, and the flavor was absolutely delicious. The beans were also very good. They were nice and thick and tasted of lard. Where Mia's fell a bit short was with the tortillas. They did not pass the smell test, they were a bit dry, they were a bit hard, and they did not taste that good. However, my wife has brought me tacos from there, so I know that they are capable of making some damned good tortillas. Maybe today they had problems. I don't know. The enchiladas on my plate were substantial. There must have been at least ¼ cup of ground beef in each one. The enchilada sauce was very good. It was not too salty like so many restaurants have started making. The puffy taco was as good as any I have had anywhere. It was huge, so I ate it with a fork. I could only eat about half of it. I was STUFFED. Trust me... There is no better STUFFED than when you are stuffed with delicious Mexican food like they serve here. My wife ordered and enjoyed an al carbon salad. She had some dental work recently and has to be careful about what she tries to chew. I'm glad she enjoyed it. I am not a salad eater (hence the big butt and belly). It did not look appetizing to me. The restaurant vibe reminded me of Mexican restaurants from my childhood. The music was nice. Everything was clean. The servers and hostess were awesome. I need to go back when I can get someone else to drive so I can have a margarita with my meal.
