The guy who worked at Kenneths at that time looked at the list and had his guys look over my car. Only a couple of minor things stood out so, Kenneths won my confidence and I had them do a complete break job front and back and a few other things before I went on a long trip. I have a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe SE. Luckily Hyundai extended the engine warranty and mine went out at around 146K and Hyundai replaced the engine with no charge. This past week my alternator went out and I had the car towed to Kenneths. They told me the drive belt tensioner was leaking oil and needed replacement. It was time for a transmission flush. So the three items, belt tensioner replacement, alternator and drain and fill transmission came to $2520.28. I was taken back by the price but trusted them so had the work done. Afterwards I immediately started checking with others and found that I could have had the same work (after comparing to four different mechanics) done from $717 to $1127 less. I don't recognize any of the people there anymore and I don't know what happened but my advice would be to steer clear and do not get your car serviced without getting bids. It's so hard to find trusted mechanics and at one time, my instincts were right but I won't be back.

Let me first say…read morethat my dealership told me I needed new brake pads almost a year ago and that I needed to get it done soon or I would need to replace the rotors, as well. They sent me pictures from the technician and gave me a description of each worn brake pad. At that time I didn't have the money they quoted me, and since then I've been driving around worried about mechanical issues and the money it would cost to get the work done. Recently, I realized I needed new tires, so I went to Sun and got a quote for new tires, brake pads, and a new TPM for the front passenger side. The cost of the brake pads, plus labor quoted at Sun was $2K cheaper than my dealership. I made arrangements to bring my car in today and they arranged a ride to take me back to work, which they paid for. A couple hours later they called to let me know I didn't need new brake pads and they still had about 60% life in them. They suggested replacing all four TPM'S, and I agreed. When I went to pick up my car, the cost for four new quality tires, all new TPM's, and an oil change was less than $1200. I will never return to my dealership and I will only do business with Sun Auto, as long as they keep up their epic service. I saved thousands of dollars today thanks to these guys. Give them a shot, you won't regret it.
