Zelda's Thrift Store

Zelda's Thrift Store

The owner is extremely rude I have a service dog not a therapy dog a service dog for medical…read moreproblems. Legally he is allowed to be everywhere including restaurants, my job, any given store etc and he threw my dog and I out. And I explained to the owner that that's discrimination and it's also violating my rights. The law is very clear about service animals in the state in Nevada. The sad thing is is that I was going to drop a couple hundred dollars here because I was doing Christmas shopping for someone and so they just lost my business and now I will spend that money at a different thrift store. Don't shop here and don't buy anything here you can't go treating customers that way. It says service vest on my animal he's a service dog. Zelda's is a very discriminatory thrift store and as far as what I could tell looking at prices everything was overpriced to begin with I mean come on it's used items which they probably get for free anyways through donations and private parties. Everybody in Carson City knows my dog every grocery store I go my job that I do for a living even all the other thrift stores and this clown yells at me in front of all his customers and tells me to get out of his store. Thanks but no thanks I will make sure I tell my friends not to go here so the owner is going to lose a lot of business. My money is good anywhere else so when you kick me out of the store it means that I'm not spending my money on your store and then these little thrift stores that are 10 ft wide wonder why they end up going out of business this is the reason right here! At least Scoobys would have never treated anybody that way but see Scoobys went out of business and this clown took over. I hope the owner realizes that you just broke the law and I'll see you in court I'm suing you here's the law below you better brush up on it! No, it is illegal to discriminate against a person with a service dog in public places, housing, employment, and transportation, as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) protects the rights of individuals with disabilities to be accompanied by their service animals. A business can only deny entry or ask for the animal to be removed under specific, limited circumstances, such as when the dog is out of control or not housebroken. What is considered discrimination? Denial of access: Being denied entry to a public place (like a restaurant, store, or hotel) because you have a service dog is considered discrimination, even if the establishment has a "no pets" policy. Unequal treatment: You cannot be isolated from other customers, treated less favorably, or charged extra fees for having a service animal. Discriminatory policies: Businesses and public entities must allow service animals in areas where the public is generally allowed, and their presence does not "fundamentally alter the nature of the goods, services, programs, or activities". Employment discrimination: Employers cannot deny a person the opportunity to work because they use a service animal.

He has to be one of the rudest people I've met. Then was curious about buying some things that he had and said I can't open today because of the snow even though I was there and wanted to buy something he wouldn't even do that not a very nice guy was really rude closed the door in my face .

Dirty Dough definitely lives up to the hype…read more We went all in with the Dirty Dozen (mix & match) and everything was HUGE! These cookies are not your average size. Perfect to share... or not My favorite was the PB Overload; rich, peanut buttery, and just over the top in the best way. But honestly, every flavor we tried was solid ; from the Cookies n' Creme to the Raspberry Lemonade, plus the Mississippi Mud bars... all delicious. They've got more than just cookies too--bars, cinnamon rolls, and other treats, so there's a lot to choose from. Everything is made fresh and served warm, which makes a big difference. The staff was super friendly and the whole place has a fun vibe. I also like that they rotate flavors, so there's always something new to try. If you're into big, indulgent desserts and want something a little different, this spot is definitely worth it

Dirty Dough is legit!…read more My first experience with Dirty Dough was at the Tahoe Blue Event Center where they have a stall and dish out amazing cookies at every hockey game. The cookies were great there, but my visit to the store was even more incredible! I learned that Dirty Dough isn't just cookies. It's dessert bars, cinnamon rolls, dirty sodas, shakes, and more! The ordering experience is in person at the register and then your treats get freshly made right there in front of you. The young lady who helped us was great and super quick. There is a small bench to wait on while they prep your scrumptious desserts. We ordered the Kookie Monster cookie, the Raspberry Cheesecake cookie, and a Coffee Cake dessert bar. All were served warm and the frosting and toppings go on fresh so they are soft and creamy when you're ready to eat. The raspberry cheesecake cookie was absolutely insane and I loved the texture of the coffee cake bar. It was like a cookie, brownie, cake-y texture. Amazing. Dirty Dough has monthly rotations flavors, not weekly like Crumbl, but in my opinion, this is absolutely the place for quick treats in Carson City. Go Dirty Dough!
