When we wanted a style or product they didn't have she was able to find it and get it in stock for us. She didn't make us feel rushed and she and the team did a great job installing all the tile and flooring. Hailey was very responsive and answered any questions we had quickly and accurately. Hailey also helped us on pricing when needed and if we were able to find the same product at a lower cost elsewhere she was always willing to price match. Some other people involved in our build would be visibly bothered by late changes or requests, but that was not at all the case with Hailey. After…read moremany delays and finally a switch in product our vinyl plank floor was installed; all the time holding our 50 percent down payment. The installation occurred without a hitch and professionally, but it took two more visits to complete the project. Though our salesperson said it wasn't needed, additional underlayment was installed in one room. Fine, so far. The problem came with the billing. Earlier, when our product was changed, we established a new final cost with our salesperson. But when the bill was received, it was $609 more that the pre-agreed final cost. The invoice noted the additional underlayment in the one room and additional prep work. However, there wasn't any additional prep work required as the one room was cleaned down to the subfloor like all others; a step necessary to apply the product even without underlayment as we were told. We contacted L.P. by letter stating our concern and included extra payment for the underlayment. We pointed out that the existing contract covered all prep work yet they were charging us for more. Nevertheless, this letter and documents of proof were ignored. Instead, we received yet another bill without any response to our concerns. Ultimately, we paid L.P. in full on their terms but not with once again stating our concerns. That inquiry was ignored too. They cashed the check.

We started a bathroom remodel and worked with Lauren Pagel at Macco's in late March, 2026. We…read moreexplained to Lauren the tile floor design pattern we wanted and also included in-floor heat. She agreed with us on the design. Around April 15, Macco's had installed the wrong tile floor design. We asked how this happened, installing the wrong floor pattern. Lauren explained she gave the installers the wrong information. They offered us a discount for their mistake, however we wanted the floor pattern that we agreed to. Two months later, on June 23, Macco's came back to our house to install the correct floor pattern. The in-floor heat was not working correctly. Macco's came back on August 6 with two tile service people. They told us the electrical cable from the thermostat to the in-floor heat sensors needed to be replaced by an electrician. On Tuesday, August 18 an electrician came and installed the wire. This project took approximately 5 months to complete instead of the 6 weeks we were told at the beginning of the project. During this prolonged tile floor installation and repair, we had to turn away several renters for our property, resulting in a loss of income for us. We asked Macco's for a discount to their admitted error, however they would not give us one, even though it was their error. We have future flooring projects and will definitely not use Macco's again due to their errors and poor business practices of customer service. If you are in need of new flooring, stay away from Macco's to avoid the nightmare we experienced. We will be using their competition for future flooring needs.
