Zero stars if it were possible! Assembly location is terrible. Management is unaccommodating, and sneaky when you try to freeze or cancel your account (they hit you with hidden fees and policies!!) highly recommend you find another place perhaps RUMBLE opening nearby-they may have better management, personnel and attitude all around. And watch out they will charge you no show fees for their ultra empty classes if you book n miss! No one is falling over themselves to box there! Only 2 good instructors the rest you may as well just watch a video of an actual instructor. Their app vids are better than many of the instructors who are 'teaching' in person! read more

If you are thinking about joining any TITLE gym, make sure you read the fine print! Cancelling requires 30 days of IN PERSON advance notice, and if you have moved, you then have to pay a postage stamp and mail them a letter indicating that you would like to cancel. The 30 days advance notice does not start until they receive the letter, and you will be charged during the whole process. What a complete scam that runs their business off of nickel and diming people for their hard earned money. The contract you sign literally says that they will cancel immediately only if you become permanently disabled or you DIE. read more

I love this club! The classes are a great workout. The class instructors are inspiring and kind! This place has hanging heavy bags. The classes are a combination of gloves hitting the bag, floor exercises, and core exercises for a 45 minute super full body workout. I am 62 with replacement hips and a reconstructed ankle. I could not push my body up with my arms when I started. With the kind help and support of the entire club, I am stronger and surprising myself with my stamina. I can do real push-ups. I can finish the workout! I have felt very included as a senior -- thank you to Title Boxing! read more

Great place until you need to stop. Every month they keep charging. You fill out the forms to stop and you get charged again. Stopping due to medical problems. What the heck is wrong with them? You can't do anything on person as the owner never is there. Now I have to cancel my credit cards in order to stop these people! As much as I liked it I am not returning when I can walk again. Boy were they quick to start taking my money. No more being taken advantage of. Now off to the bbb. read more

I've been working out at various TBC locations for probably 8 years now, the last couple years almost exclusively at Assembly (Fit Row). The intensity of the workout is second to none. And I love the energy and positivity of the trainers. Greg and Amanda really do a great job running the show. The gym is kept very clean and bags are in good shape. If I have an injury, the trainers are great about helping me modify my workout or giving me stretches or exercises to do. If you're new, the trainers will help you learn proper technique. If you forget your gloves every so often they will usually let you borrow a pair. Your level of athleticism doesn't matter. If you go hard, you WILL be exhausted. And the trainer will make sure you don't forget to go hard! The only downside I can think of is that evening kickboxing classes are practically non-existent. But they usually do such a good job running the boxing class that I'm not worried about it. Just something to be aware of if you're really into MMA or Muay Thai, etc. Just a quick thing about the 1-star reviews I saw. Practically all gyms make it difficult to cancel. It's just the nature of the industry. And it's that way for a bunch of reasons. But I've never had a problem freezing my membership due to injury or resolving an issue with my card, etc. The are some other gyms out there (like when I tried Gold's about 10 yrs ago) where they have sleazy salesmen who will put on a fake smile and play every game in the book to get your money regardless of whether you were happy or even able to use the gym. I've never gotten any of that nonsense at any TBC I've been to. TBC really cares about your satisfaction, so if you don't like something, tell them about it and they will often go out of their way to fix it. read more

Great place for a workout! Staff and Trainers are knowledgeable in helping first time customers come into the club making sure they have fun, great experience while making sure their safe and doing the punches, or kicks, taught so there won't be any injuries! They also do a first time free class, which is a plus! Honestly, If I didn't do it I probably would not have joined since I never done Boxing before. They gathered the new comers before class and taught the basics. before starting. During the class, the trainer or trainers would go to each of us individually making sure we were doing the "combination" of punches correctly and making sure our form was there. The trainers did not force me to go at their speed but to go at my own pace. They have always emphasized form over speed and power, afterwards, both will come as you progress. The place itself has free parking garages for three hours in the Partners Healthcare lot, which is such a plus!! The gym is always clean whenever I go there during the off and on hours. My favorite part about this location are the instructors. They are so energetic and will push you to be a better version of yourself. Love taking classes with instructors who have been out in the real world as fighters. Greg, Louisiana, Taylor, Corey pretty much everyone i've had for classes at this location always bring their A game on. Why should I have to respond to the business owner not wanting to take responsibility for a shady move during the pandemic. when I've already stated my experience??? Your policy states 30 days to cancel. So when you closed your business during the pandemic and froze all accounts, you gave less than 30 days Of notice that memberships were to resume, giving people like myself no chance to cancel before your 30 day policy. All I did was give my honest opinion about that move and every single person on this staff has responded to me like I did something wrong..LOL. I tried to respond via the BBB but for whatever reason my response was rejected and this place continued to try and charge us knowing one person moved out of state and another with a medical condition who didn't feel safe attending. I've seen them make exceptions for other reasons to waive the 30 day policy.. but the person I spoke to said they don't do that. Again LOL. read more

I dont know if they intentionally make it difficult to cancel but it is difficult. I went in last Saturday asking to cancel and a not super pleasant person shoved a card in my hand and told me she needed it in writing. Ok- so i emailed her that day thinking I'd get some response durong the week. Here it is a week later and nothing. I love this place! I had wanted to try boxing workouts for a while, but I was intimidated. I finally checked it out last fall and I've been going ever since! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly - great instructors. The workouts are super fun, engaging and they fly by. I look forward to taking classes there several times a week. If you have no idea what you are doing (like myself when I started), the staff will totally show you the ropes (how to wrap your hands, the punches, etc). You just have to come a few minutes early for the instructions. read more

This will be the best gym/workout/boxing I have ever been to!!! It does get crowded sometimes, but it's because this place is that good. Get there early, and you will see people getting there half an hour early to warm up because the classes are intense (and awesome) and you want to be ready for them. Greg is an amazing trainer and will be able to transform you if you commit. Highly recommend his personal training sessions as they will be worth every penny. I had to move to another city for a job, and one thing I miss the most is this gym and Greg! His classes are also top notch. Also get their gel gloves and hand wrap. Your hands will feel better, and they are top quality (I got three pairs, and the one from TBC felt the best - I got cheaper ones online but ended up spending more to get TBC gloves because they were not as good, but this could be a personal preference). read more

I recently had to cancel my membership unexpectedly. Usually I find that companies make this impossible. I had a few sessions remaining that I needed to use and Amanda was extremely accommodating due to the circumstances. The few sessions I have been able to attend have been an amazing workout! HORRIBLE! If you don't want to read this whole thing here's the takeaways if you wanna do title: Go to the one in Burlington it's easy to get to , has parking and the nicest staff of every gym we've tried. The morning of our class we ran a little late because our dog got sick. We were still early for the class, we have taken these and we didn't need help getting ready, we would just miss a little bit of warmup. When we went to fill out the required form they only had one copy when asked to print out more the instructor got angry and yelled (literally yelled I'm not emphasizing for dramatics) at us and told us we could not take the class because we weren't early enough as per a policy. Having never been late (still early) before we did not know this policy and tried explaining to him we weren't beginners so we could easily jump in. I find it hard to believe that no one has every had an unexpected morning causing them to be late. Regardless there was a better way to tell us and handle the situation. We've been trying all the title gyms near us to see which we liked best. We were also considering getting a title membership but definitely not now. He was an incredibly horrible disrespectful person that I'm shocked works in an industry that requires talking to humans. We were both so stunned by his reaction that we didn't even know how to respond our jaws just dropped and we left. My friends and I had a terrible experience here. We were there to try our first class, and arrived approximately 10 minutes before the class started. Immediately upon realizing that we were new customers, the extremely unpleasant woman checking us in at the front desk decided that we were the bane of her existence. She yelled at us for arriving late (we weren't...) and for taking up ~precious space~ that "her members" needed. We bought the hand wraps and she proceeded to ridicule my friend's choice in wrap color. Our mere presence was clearly deeply offensive to her. On top of this, after realizing that we were undergraduates, she sneered and questioned "if we were even going to be here this summer" (we are, by the way). But, as if we wouldn't be allowed to try the class if we were going home for the summer..? Pretty sure that nowhere on the website does it state that taking a first class is a binding agreement to a membership, nor that you can discriminate against students. After the class started, she came around and explained the basic punches to some other new customers but explicitly made eye contact with us, ignored our confused expressions, and decided to skip us. Pro tip- if you want new customers to actually sign up for a membership, explaining basic moves prevents disoriented and uncoordinated flailing during the class and can result in (shocker) a better first class experience! When the class was over, we overheard her snickering and gossiping about us as we walked out of the door. This is typically not what is meant by customer service. The actual instructor was great and we really enjoyed the workout, but will not be returning to this location. We might actually buy a membership (because we WILL BE HERE THIS SUMMER) but definitely not at this club. read more

I live close to other title gyms but always come to the Somerville location. The Somerville location is much bigger than others and the trainers are awesome. I'd recommend trying out Louisiana's 11am class on Sundays. Also, Greg is a great personal trainer. I've taken a couple personal training classes with him and he really knows his stuff. read more

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!! The person whose name is Amanda is horrible. She is so rude to new customers. We were there to try the first class, and she arrogantly says we have to sign up after the trial. Is the trial not really a trial but a guarantee that you have to sign up??? If so, please don't come here for the first class at all!!! We said we were interested but have to try first to decide. And she said back we have to pay 20 dollars for the gear and it is not provided for free. It is said that gloves are provided for free for the first class. And there is no official document about the 20 dollars thing, she just made it up!!! Terrible experience! Please don't come if you want to be respected!!!! read more

I told them many times I will move soon so won't be able to go on November, but they said you will need to notify them 30 days in advance which is not possible. What a service???
