Belfast made the Titanic. Did anyone know that? Me too.
Perhaps it is because I am from Belfast, but tours of bits of Belfast like the Titanic which (obviously) isn't there I thought would be a bit pointless. However, I was forced to eat my words because it was actually quite interesting.
I had never been around the Titanic Quarter before, so being told that we would not only be going to the Titanic Quarter, but also have to WALK a lot was boring before we began.
However my boredom was soon displaced my enjoyment as we were greeted at the Odyssey with a fantastically warm welcome, and after a few terrible jokes (as you would expect), we went through the history of the boat being built and setting sail for the iceberg.
You get to see all of the planning that goes into it and the big dock which if you fell into you probably would die so for safety reasons, you should not fall into it, or try to fall into it.
For people who love to find out the history of the boat that killed Leonardo Di Caprio, then this is the first place and the first tour you have to do.
For those of you that think this is a bit boring and would rather go to the pub, then go on the tour and then go to the pub. It is not to be missed.
