As part of an end of year bash, our choir recently took themselves to the waters of Belfast Lough, and went on a Titanic Boat Tour...was it going to end in disaster? Well, there were a few close calls with some inebriated people standing too close to the edge of the ship, but thankfully, we all came back intact and ready to eat our dinner. This boat tour is well worth the money, and really enjoyable. You can pay £10 per adult or £30 for a family ticket, which I would say would be good value for your money if you are a family of tourists wanting to learn about the history of shipping in Belfast and the Titanic in particular. It does give you some good views of Belfast Lough also, and of course, would be most enjoyable in good, sunny weather. The tours last around an hour and a half, and are informative and enjoyable. I would recommend the experience for tourist and residents of Belfast too - it doesn't hurt to know the history of your own city! read more
