GORGEOUS hotel and great service. We came in because we were at the Titanic exhibition. Just out of curiosity we stopped in for drinks and were blown away. The interior is very posh. There is a Titanic replica on display that is neat to look at. Fancy bathrooms. The dessert cheese board is awesome. Decadent. Very attentive staff. Really enjoyed the atmosphere.

The Scarlet Vetter says.....if you are going to the Titanic Exhibit in Belfast, stay in this hotel. The hotel gets 5 stars. Our lunch experience at the hotel in their beautiful dining room, gets 3 stars. So, I am giving 4 stars as an average. The food at the restaurant was quite good. However, sadly, the service at the restaurant was quite bad. The servers were inattentive, clueless at times about the menu and disappeared for large swaths of time. It took 15 minutes to get one to bring our bill after being there over two hours, and as a result, we barely made our train back to Dublin. Now, on to the food. Both my husband and I ordered the Soup of the Day which was Potato and Leek Soup. It was fantastic! Velvety and smooth. I had ordered a glass of red wine and he ordered a pot of tea when we first arrived. Our soup was served before our drinks and we had to inquire twice regarding the whereabouts of our libations. The same server that took our drink and our food orders brought the soup yet did not notice the lack of drinks. When the drinks finally arrived, the glass of wine was a bit off, it was definately turning. Meh. We ordered for our entrees, the Chicken Curry with Udon Noodles and a Burger with Chunky Fries. The Curry was an excellent flavor but demerits are given for the fact that the menu did not disclose the fact that it was a flat piece of chicken, breaded and fried. I watch my carbs, so I had to spend quite a bit of time "decarbing" the chicken. I would not even have thought to ask how the chicken was prepared as I have eaten chicken curry for two decades and never had it prepared any way but in the curry sauce. My husband had good reports about the burger and fries. Again, so my summary is.....food very good...... service....not stellar.

What a beautiful hotel. Located directly across the street from the Titanic Museum, this space was once occupied by the draftsmen of the Titanic. Memorabilia abound! Halls to the rooms are quite dark, particularly for anyone with low vision. Rooms are set up to look like a Titanic stateroom. We enjoyed this aspect of the experience. Perhaps the only drawback was that the toilet ran incessantly despite a maintenance visit. The bar and dining spaces within the hotel were absolutely beautiful as well. The food was excellent, and wine list good. Recommended.

What a great place. The hotel is full of history, art, and the design of the halls so creative. I love that the hotel is across from the Titanic Museum. The service was excellent. The bed comfortable, the bathroom large. Cookies every morning. I've been in Ireland for 15 days and I must say this was one of my favorite hotels. The walk into town is not far. The Game of Thrones stage is behind the hotel and I could see it from my room. Have fun finding the six glass panes. Breakfast was included in our tour and they had an array of food. Our Titanic hotel Belfast experience was a good one. The rooms are clean and well set up, the staff is friendly, and breakfast was included (and on point). Our stay was towards the end of a two week, multi-hotel trip for me, so I feel safe in making comparisons. I'll start with the 'theme'. Titanic Hotel is not shaped like a ship, however, it highlights aspects of Belfast's most famous ship. Guests are approached as 1st class passengers and even directions are written from the crews point of view. I did get a kick out of the room numbers, which were lit like on a ship. Expanding on the room, I felt the king bed room was spacious enough for two people. We had room to put some of our stuff away with place to lay things out as well. I will say the bathrooms felt a bit tight, but the shower (and shower pressure) more than made up for any shortcomings. Staff, as mentioned, was friendly. We didn't have many interactions with them, but when we did they were 'passenger' focused. We arrived early and they were quick to store our bags while we walked around a bit. They were also able to get us a room a bit ahead of regular check-in time. The only slight item for consideration was the location. Outside proximity to the Titatnic Museum, the location is a bit further outside the downtown than other offerings. With the river and limited bridges, that meant at least a 15 minute walk or 5 minute ride. We didn't have a car and had good weather to walk, but might have raked up taxi costs had the weather turned or you aren't up for walking. Overall, Titanic Hotel Belfast would be a place I'd consider staying again and would recommend. Travel well!

I'm sure the hotel is fine. We went here for a quick lunch. The bar area is beautiful with iconography about the Titanic, a ships model, and architectural drawings. There are about 20 low tables around the room - perhaps great for having drinks, but too low to the ground for dining. We ordered a chowder, fresh vegetables, and a club sandwich. It was very nice they were able to accommodate us with gluten-free bread. We also ordered a bottle of sparkling water. They had a few problems with service. The soup was delivered with a knife but no spoon or fork. The club sandwich arrived fine. We didn't get our water so we reminded the waiter and asked for the missing silverware. He came back with a spoon and the vegetables, but no fork or water. We asked again. Finally, I gave my wife my fork and eyed the waiter who noticed there was no water. We did get the bottle when we finished our meals. Nicely, he comped the water.

Beautiful hotel, and lovely restaurant/bar space in Drawing Room 2. The windowed walls & ceiling let in so much natural light that no extra lighting are needed until nighttime. Which means flattering picture lighting haha! Service was gracious, & the food was very good: Beer Battered Fish & Chips - we chose the chunky fries! The fish was delicious & the tartar sauce lemony. The grilled lemon half was nice to squeeze over it all, as was the vinegar on the table. Goliath Burger - we chose the skinny fries! A chunky patty, fresh tomato & lettuce, and nice bun. We saw wedding decor & tables being set up & guests arriving while we were there. A great venue for everything from a quick bite to a wedding!

While this hotel certainly is beautiful and has historical significance (housed Titanic's draftsmen and furniture builders), it also has some shortcomings. The hallways downstairs have some near-impossible turns with a luggage cart so accept the luggage attendant's offer to help. The bathrooms are large, but the showers have a high step into the tub and they are tiny. The room is well-appointed with air conditioning, but no refrigerator.

We could not have picked a better hotel for our stay in Belfast! The Titanic Hotel is full of history and decorated with classy and vintage nautical furniture to make you feel like you're a first-class passenger on a ship. When we arrived in Belfast we showed up at the hotel to drop off our bags a few hours before check-in, however the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and able to accommodate us with an early check-in. Upon arriving on our floor, we were met with a dimly lit hallway to stimulate the experience of being on a real ship. Our room had massive windows with a view of the museum across the street and with so much natural light that we didn't need to turn on the room lights until much later in the day. Both the room and our bathroom were extremely spacious, and the room had air conditioning. The bed was very comfortable and it took no time at all to fall asleep after a day spent walking around Belfast. The hotel itself is about a 15-20 minute walk from downtown Belfast which makes it easy to get around, and if you are planning to come with a car there is an underground car park across from the hotel that costs $15 for 24 hours of parking. Overall, it was a lovely stay and an incredible experience paired with the Titanic Museum right across the street. It was my favorite place to stay during our trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland and I would absolutely stay here again!

The good parts are very good, and not so good are quite poor. On balance downsides outweigh positives. Check-in was a breeze. The chap at reception was charming. He made us very welcome. We got a double room for two including breakfast for one night (£100 but a next day car parking brought the cost to £108.) The room was good with two wash basins, bath & shower, bathrobes with slippers, bottled water, ginger biscuits, a large telly, good air con and a coffee pod machine that provided hot water for tea. The hotel is stunning and liberally filled with the history of the shipyard, White Star line and the ship that was alright when it left Belfast. The hotel bar is huge. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. We had drinks that night and next day lunch with family in the bar. It was good in terms of service and food for the adults. Car parking isn't at the hotel itself, it's not convenient for guests, it utilises the Titanic centre pay car park a few minutes walk away so the hotel was clearly set for swathes of coach tourists. When we arrived at reception we had to take our luggage to our room and then drive to the Titanic centre underground car park. There are signs at the hotel that threaten clamping if you park outside for any time. Tedious. Can't imagine staying here in our cold wet winter or spring. The walk to the car park is ok in dry and mild weather but a turn off in wet, cold, icy weather. I've no idea how disabled folk would cope. We parked up 23 hours. The hotel processed the parking ticket. We brought our cases to the car rather than the equal inconvenience of retrieving the car from parking to go back to the hotel. The ticket came up at £23.5 discounted to £7.5. As a paying hotel guest it felt a rip off in on top of the lousy inconvenience of parking here. Worst by a long way was the breakfast experience. We were offered times on arrival that didn't please us, but chose the earlier time as we were booked into the Titanic centre at 10am. Turns out that this time was to suit the staff not guests, as we were still there at our preferred arrival time and for at least 15 minutes after, and not one guest turned up for brekky. When we arrived we stood five minutes to be seated before a staffer bothered. My patience was exhausted. Once a waitress did bother she wanted our room number and flicked over pages and back again, looking puzzled she asked for our surname repeating the flicking, re-checking and couldn't find us. Then she asked what time we opted for but that didn't seem to assist. It's not that the place was crowded - far from it. She did invite us to sit down just in time - as it had to be 10 minutes from we first arrived at that point, I was about to give her a piece of my mind. The unacceptable delays were why we were still there beyond the time we would have chosen to come down. The fact is we could have arrived at our preferred time - it wouldn't have mattered. It got worse. I was specific about my cooked breakfast order. I was completely ignored. Breakfast arrived covered with a silver dome which the waiter lifted with a flourish. The idea I suppose is to reveal tasty, well - presented food but no I got greasy food I didn't want and I didn't get food I did order. I wanted eggs cooked one way they weren't cooked this way. I asked for extra mushrooms, I got two mushrooms. I wanted the tomato well cooked, it was burnt one side and barely cooked on the other all by a lazy cook that couldn't be a trained chef. This is a cook that didn't mind a greasy plate. This is greasy spoon cafe standards. If you served this food in a prison Amnesty International would be unkind about you and you'd do well to avoid a riot. I don't get it, as they sure weren't over worked. The sausage was finished off in an oven (if not stuck in an oven from the start) it was plastic skinned, cheap meat. The batch deep fried thin potato bread was made from dried potato flakes in a factory where it should have stayed. The black pudding was over cooked, the coffee was lukewarm, sour and the bacon was the grimmest I've had in many years. It was folded in two, oven overcooked to toughness, yet the bacon rind was a repulsive soggy white gunge - another 'stick it in the oven it'll do ye rightly' attitude that beset Irish tourism forever. The 'cook' and their manager should seek alternative employment, preferably not involving cooking nor managing humans. Lastly we were woken very early in the morning by an inconsiderate sod making a lorry delivery. I think it was a Brakes refrigerated lorry that parked right under our window. It was pitch dark and the driver kept the refrigerator running an hour and a half. I'd stay again, but I'm not sure I'd be enthusiastic about it.

The Jack and Rose - best cocktail of my life!

Still one of my favorite hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. I love history so just being near the dock and museum were wonderful. The hotel itself is decorated so classy and vintage, from beautiful tile work to metal/brass features. I didn't realize our room was gonna come with such a wonderful bathtub and bathroom! I would of stocked up on some bath bombs, so be prepared if you love to soak! The bar and restaurant downstairs were lovely. We had dinner and drinks and everything was wonderful. I had a drink called "the Jack and Rose" and still consider it the best cocktail I've ever had in my life.

Its not really a place that you can just go into and hang out, unlike the Black Box where you can just go into anytime and it not be unusual.... It is now looking the part after having a couple of years of being renovated in stages. I think it serves its purpose pretty well as it is just a new venture and is making baby steps to have more of a presence in the local scene.

Their main aim is to help support and promote the local music industry and they do that pretty well. The range of activities and events it stages is vast. There are gigs, obviously, some of which are aimed at under 18s (something Belfast sorely needed), rehearsal rooms for hire for bands who need space and equipment, a cafe and space for kids to come in, listen to music and hang out, and their crown jewel - the music exhibition. The exhibition basically charts Northern Ireland music from its traditional roots, to modern heroes like Snow Patrol (say what you like about them, at least they're flying the flag!). Recently, the whole thing was expanded and now features video confessionals from civilians like you and me, recounting their favourite gigs, lyrics, Northern Irish bands and so on. The building is also home to small businesses as well, such as Start Together Studios and Small Town America Records - both of which are success stories in their own right and would find it difficult to get city centre premises otherwise. The exhibition is free and open to the public every day except Sunday, so if you have even a passing interest in anything musical, I'd give it a whirl.
